Love this dress! I wore it to my high school reunion. The fabric is super soft, stretchy, and comfortable. The color is unique and has almost a hip washed look to it. It's very flattering and the draping hits all the right places. I would recommend wearing this dress to a more casual party or a night out! You can wear it without a bra or with a strapless.

I LOVED wearing this dress for a brunch following a traditional, southern, lesbian wedding. I pride myself on being a little overdressed for most occasions so this dress was perfect. The material was lined, cozy and comfortable so it was casual but the angles and architecture dressed it up a little. I'd accidentally left my strapless bra at home for this destination wedding but because of the draping, even my D-cups were okay without one! I highly recommend.

I liked this dress more than I expected to. It is a soft, silky fabric, and has fabulous drape. It is the perfect dress for dinner out at a chic, casual place. The asymmetrical hemline and one-shoulder style are flirty without being outrageous. The color is a bit odd--a strange greyish green. I thought I would have trouble accessorizing, but my coral jewelry and tan strappy sandals worked well.

Ordered a small and a medium for my birthday party. I didn't even bother trying on the medium because the small fit perfectly. Great dress and wonderful service! Thinking about renting this dress again.

It was so comfortable and flattering

this was a super easy dress that was beyond comfortable. The medium fit great and was fitted in the hips but still draped really well in all the right places. I decided to tuck the strap in on the one side and it looked great. Paired with a big chunky gold necklace and black platforms!

I would rent this dress again.

Color is brown, not gray like pictures. Read reviews for color description. Fabric very comfortable and stretchy, but the waistband wasn't as fitting as I thought and the P was big on me so I ended up wearing a small belt with the dress. My measurements are 34" 25" 36" - lots of room in the midsection even with a size P. Gold shoes were a great match, and the length was wedding appropriate. Dressed the outfit up with flashy shoes and accessories.

I wore this dress to a gala and it certainly stood out in the crowd of more corporate/conservative dresses! The color was different than in the model's picture, so go by the customer reviews for the real color. The fit was on point and as described. This was my first experience with RTR and I am impressed with the process. This dress is not for someone wanting to blend in, however, and it was easy to accessorize. A large collar necklace, dainty metals, or bicep cuffs would look equally as great with it. I would definitely rent it again!

LOVED this dress!! It's different and loved the asymmetry of the dress. I wanted a dress that was classy enough for dinner yet sexy enough to get some drinks afterwards. I wore this to a girlfriend's dinner at nobu. I wore a strapless bra and my spanx so undie lines wouldn't show. I paired it with sky high black stiletto heels and it was perfect. I've rented a few helmut lang dresses from RTR and this was my favorite. It was super comfy too. I wish I could buy this dress!

The color was more of a meteor green. More gray than it looks in the picture which I liked. I did not really have an issue with the strap falling down. I did not wear a bra (just petals). If I had a strapless prob would have worn it but not totally necessary. I wore it for a garden wedding. I waited till the last minute to rent so it was not my first choice for the event, but it should have been. Very comfortable and easy to wear. It looks a little bag like in the picture which I was concerned about since I am short and need to show my curves. But it hung beautifully and showed the prefect amount of curve.

I normally absolutely love anything Helmut Lang, and this dress didn't disappoint. The color and fabric are really flattering, and the dress is so comfortable! If you pair this with a statement necklace or cuff then be prepared for the compliments.

Wonderful dress! Definitely runs larger--I wore the smallest size available (P) and could have even dropped another size if one existed, but it still worked. The skinny strap was difficult to keep up, especially when dancing. The color is more gray than the greenish color in the picture, so keep that in mind when deciding on jewelry and shoes. The draping is excellent--some of the asymmetrical lines on Helmut Lang can fit oddly, but this one was perfect! I rented the necklace in the picture but didn't end up wearing it--really cheap feeling and unattractive. I was able to wear a strapless bra under the dress with no problems. Could probably have managed one strap on the bra even. Highly recommend this dress--loved wearing it!

I rented this for a funky benefit held in a large loft space. I was the only one it the dress tho there were over 600 people there! It fit perfectly, but required seamless panties. The design is very flattering and fitted at the bust (38B). High heels are a must to complete the look. I wore it without the spaghetti strap because it seemed to take away from the large lucite necklace that I wore with this. Added brushed gold cuff bracelet. I could see wearing this again--the design & color complimented my blond coloring.

I'm 5'5'' and 120 lbs. Typically a 4 or 6. I ordered the Small and it fit perfectly. The fabric drapes beautifully and feels great. I also ordered the necklace from the picture and it really completed the outfit. The color is a greyish/green that's flattering on most skin tones.

I also ordered the small, but the P actually fit better (more snugly). Which was odd because I am not petite.

I went with the Petite and it was a bit short but still comfortable. Great for a hot summer night.

The dress was a perfect fit. My one complaint was the way the lining peeked out at the top and I had to adjust it. Otherwise it did a great job at hiding any of my flaws.

I was really surprised that the medium turned out to be the better fit (thank God for the extra size!). I'm curvier than the model, and the dress's odd shape wound up wrapping around my body in a really flattering way, and it's kind of stretchy, so I was really comfortable all night. I was so busy running around and enjoying myself that I never took a photo, and I half regret that now!

It fit pretty true to size and I wore it to a Broadway show. The fabric is beautiful and it's very comfortable to wear but I didn't get the "ohhhh" factor I was looking for. I was going for sexy but I'm not nearly as tall as the model.

I rented the dress and the necklace together. It was a fantastic look and got many compliments. The dress really needed to be ironed or steamed, but there were no instructions and since it was silk I tried to steam instead of ironing. I was afraid of getting water spots on it so instructions on this would have been very helpful.

I wore this dress to an evening wedding at a beach resort and received many compliments. Neither the XS or S was a perfect fit. The XS was tight across the hips and butt, but the S was a little big on top. I went with the S and it was OK.

The draping around the waist and the color of this made it fairly boring on. It was also much longer on given my height, so less sexy with the high side coming closer to knee length. Very comfortable though!

I rented this dress last minute for a party but it just didn't work out. Nothing really wrong with it, it just didn't "wow" me and would probably work better on a taller frame. The size P and S both fit my body type (just depends if you want it tighter or looser) and it was a comfortable dress but overall the draping/fit just didn't work with my petite frame. But on a positive note, the shipping is always reliable (hand delivered the day of) and RTR customer service was excellent in handling my return.

I rented this dress as a back-up for a black tie wedding. In the end I had to wear the other dress just because it was more formal. However, after trying this on, I was literally calling people to try and find somewhere I could where this to. It fit perfectly and was perfectly draped in all the right places. The fabric is insanely soft/smooth and the overall look is funky and sleek. I will definitely rent this again for a less formal occasion. Awesome, awesome dress!
