It is a true cotton dress, but not necessary very dressy. Loved it though.

I ordered the S and P -- and very glad I got the back-up size. The Small fit okay (if this dress were cut any differently) but it looks WAY better when it is more fitted (instead of slightly loose). Even though I don't like things too tight, this dress helped to hide any 'pooch' below your belly button and was really attractive on. It's also better for it to be tight so the shoulder fits the way it's shown in the picture. If it's tight, it will hug your shoulders and stay taught. On the larger size, it just flopped around and you didn't get that elegant drape. I definitely recommend renting the earrings with it. They topped it off perfectly and this dress went from day, to dinner, to night amazingly well. LOVED it (and more importantly -- so did my husband).

The dress was an amazing fit. Because of the material, it does stretch out in the butt area a bit after sitting. The dress also looked like it had seen better days. I didn't have another dress option, so I wore it anyway but the dress did seem like it should be taken out of circulation soon. For the most part, this was another positive experience. I felt sexy and chic.

This dress fit a little snug at first but I preferred form fitting dresses. It is jersey material which is very soft and comfortable. It stretched a little on the length and hips toward the end of the night, felt like a great t-shirt! The shoulder sleeve needed adjustment throughout the night but wasn't a big deal. spanx needed for sure. Thanks RTR!

I was nervous about the fit because it looks tight and I'm curvy. But if fit well and was super comfy. Others wrote about needing spanx, that wasn't the case for me. Loved it overall! One small thing, my shoulder wasn't showing as much as I thought. But that didn't really matter. Got lots of compliments. Go for it!

I ordered this dress is P and sm. I wore the P. I am 5'1" and I am a size 4. dress fits like you see on the picture. In reality if your on the short side of height it will come slightly past your knees. the material is rather thin, but I would reccommend this dress. make sure your on your sit-up game because this dress does not leave room for excess....

Love RTR - Wore this dress for a work Christmas Party. Was able to have the nicest dress in the room without being overly dressed - sometimes a huge feat. I wish I had gotten the large, I am a size 8 normally in dresses, and the ruching tended to bunch at my stomach that is actually flat. My friends all told me I looked pregnant in this dress from the picture. It did look good when you adjusted the dress after sitting, maybe the large would of been better. Still a wonderful dress.

This dress was pretty cute, although it does run large. I probably should have worn the petite instead of the small...but I ended up going looser. Beware that this is made of a thin t-shirt material so it is somewhat revealing in that regard. Also, one of the dresses I rented also appeared somewhat overworn and abused.

This dress was beautiful and I received tons of compliments all night. I'm on the tall side - about 5'9" - and usually wear a size 0, so my only complaint is that the size P wouldn't drape the way I wanted it to because of my height. I ended up wearing the small - which looked beautiful, but felt big as the night wore on and it stretched a bit. I would wear it again, though! Very appropriate, yet sexy for the charity dinner I wore it to.

I had to play around with the neckline and ruching to get it just so, but even at 5'3" it worked. Not ideal for dancing (or heck, walking for that matter) as the skirt is very slim. I love me a pencil skirt though, so I was willing to sacrifice! The material will strech a bit (especially around the knees) throughout the day. Dress came in good condition; a couple loose seams but nothing dramatic. I liked the sexy silhouette paired with a toned-down neutral, and it was easy to accessorize, which is great for travel. I'm usually not a Spanx kinda girl, but I would definitely recommend it here. The material makes it pretty versatile: I may try wearing it again with boots, tights, and a jacket or sweater.

I loved this. I ordered it as a back up dress, thinking that I was curious to see it on, but did not think I would wear it out. I ended up falling in love with this style. It was so flattering, and made me appear more voluptuous than I am. The color was great, also. The fabric was thin, so wear 'invisible panties' and a good strapless bra.

I loved this dress! Although it was slinky I didn't have to worry about body issues because of the rouching detail. It was a very sexy dress.

This dress is sexy without having anything on display, hugs curves in all the right places and was extremely comfortable.

I loved, loved, loved this dress. The dress was comfortable to dance in. It was thin enough to not get hot even though you were very covered. Spanx are a must and with the cut of the dress, is incredibly flattering. I looked 10 lbs thinner and my residual baby bump was not even noticeable. I wore it with a standard bra, just pulled and fashion taped the strap to the side just a tad and it worked like a charm. I have a large bust and strapless bras just dont do their job as well. Would love to rent again. One of my favorite dresses.

I originally rented this dress as a back-up for a wedding, but ending up wearing it to my friend's birthday party and it was AMAZING. The most comfortable dress I have EVER worn. I'm 5'7 and it falls just below the knee and although it covers modestly it hugs the body and is super sexy showing off my curves. The only downside for me is that the medium was a little too tight to I had to break out the Spanx to smooth out my belly, but the large would have been perfect. Highly recommended!!

This dress was stunning! I'm a fairly curvy woman, and when I stepped out of the dressing room wearing this dress, I actually heard my cousin gasp! I paired it with some fun animal print/red Guess shoes which funkified the look a little. A slash of red lipstick and I was total glam.

Can't say enough about this great dress. Sexy comfortable stylish hugs perfectly. Worn effortlessly, even with the one shoulder stuff that can sometimes be more annoying than edgy. The grey jersey made it perfect for a rehearsal dinner. I didn't upstage the bride but looked understated and so hot. I want to own it- that's how great it was.

I thought long and hard about ordering this dress based upon a shoe I received for Christmas. Both are the perfect shade of Gray! The dress fits very nicely. I wear a size 10 on the bottom and sometimes I need a 12 in the top depending how it fits however, 10 is my size. I ordered the Medium due to other reviews posted on the site. Jersey will always give a little, and if you are planning to wear a Spanx (ALL WOMEN NEED SPANX), then you will be just fine. I wore Spanx to smooth my curves as I don't like butt jiggle. If you eat, your stomach will protrude a little so keep that in mind. The dress comes past your knee, which I loved! I wore the In-Power Line Super High Footless Shaper Spanx with the dress cause the dress fits like a glove and showed every muscle in my thighs. That particular Spanx come past the knee but can be pulled up to rignt under the knee and its high waisted as I needed the extra support inthe waist. Be mindful of that when ordering. The off the shoulder part was a little tricky as it wouldn't stay off my should much. I used the dress tape to try to hold it in place. I love the dress and will consider purchasing it when it goes on sale on the site.

I rented this for a date...the date got cancelled, but I still wore the dress and it was fabulous. The dress was a little bit around the hem but fit perfectly everywhere else. I wish I was able to get both the S and M to see which one fit better. Next time I will take that option.

I rented this dress to have dinner in a very nice restaurant in NYC over the Christmas holidays. It forms very nice to your body and the ruching is extremely flattering through the body. It did hit me right below the knees, which I thought looking very sophisticated. I did have to pull the dress off the shoulder a few times during the evening, but I was sitting down, which I believe contributed to this. I would love to own this dress!

I rented the petite and the small for a wedding and hoilday party. The small was bagKgy from my bust down and hung to my lower calf..The petite fit like a glove, even though it wasn't as draped across the top as it looked. This dress highed all the right areas from my bust to my bottom:) I would highly recommend renting this dress if you wanna show your curves in a tasteful way!

This dress was utterly amazing! It fit like a glove and covered everything. The compliments were endless on how beautiful it was. For $60 it was worth it!!

I ordered both the small and petite. Both fit, but the petite showed off the waist line better. I thought the top would drape a little more, but it is sewn to fit exactly as pictured. Great length, great feel, great dress for being a bit accidentally sexy which I like.

Absolutely loved this dress - but go down a size as it stretches throughout the day! If it isn't tight when you put it on it will be baggy by an hour or so later.

This dress was really loose fitting and not flattering at all. I am usually a small/medium but went with the extra small and small since a medium was unavailable. Even the extra small was large. The dress is also quite long--it was almost to my calves and I'm 6ft tall... This is just a simple-stretchy cotton dress that is pretty flimsy…I dressed it up with pink accessories, but overall the dress was disappointing.

I am not a big girl, but this dress was much too clingy for the event.

I was dissapointed in how thin the fabric was -- perhaps from too many washes and wears. The dress was a lovely length and drape, but you could see right through it! I didn't end up wearing it, but I did love the other dress I rented for the occassion.

I really loved this dress but was kind of between sizes. The x-small was too tight my bottom but the small was was too big everywhere else. Unfortunately both showed signs of wear...lots of pilling. I was definitely disappointed with what was probably -at one time - a great dress.

I sized down for my backup size (as recommended by the previous wearers). The backup size was way too small, and the size I thought would fit me was perfect in the hips but way too small for my upper body. I normally have the opposite problem (where my hips and butt require a size larger than my upper body), but if I had sized up here for my upper body, the dress would have probably been too big in my hips.

I loved this dress. It was both sexy and sophisticated and fit like a glove.
