I rented this dress for my friend Birthday Party! It was a great success! I loved this dress a lot! It fits perfectly, it hides all parts which you want to hide! It's unusual style! I got a lot of compliments all evening long! Shame this dress is no longer available! It is appropriate, but yet very sexy dress!

Wearing Spanx underneath is a must. It will help the silky fabric lay just right. It's just the right amount of stretch for girls with curves. I'm a 32B up top and I usually wear an XS if I'm fitting for my waist and a medium if I'm fitting for my hips. This dress fit perfect. I'm short at 5'2", but with 3 inch heels, I occasionally would step on the back of the dress. If you're 5'2", I would recommend 4 inch heels.

You have to order a size or two smaller when you get this dress.. thanks to others reviews I took a chance and ordered the 0 which fit perfectly... If I hadn't I think my morning would have been ruined with trying to pin the dress to fit right. Other than that, this dress doesn't need you to do much, you can keep it simple with the jewelery...throw on some sexi heels and you are good to go! I recommend taking RTR up on the free extra size with this one. Loved it.

I wore this to my girlfriend's southern wedding at the Belle Meade plantation in Nashville. I got so many compliments, after having worried previously about fitting in, I decided it was indefinitely better to stand out and make a statement. Edgy and sultry in contrast with the southern belles of Nashville! FYI I wore spanx with this, which helped in the back but also pulled on the base fabric a bit. So beware on that!

This dress was very easy to wear! I loved it- it was very elegant and sleek, yet simple. It was flattering- hugged nicely in the back. The fabric was super comfortable, too. And you can wear a regular bra! It did run a little large, and was a bit too long for me (even with heels). But it was pretty easy to manage and I didn't ever trip over it.

Runs big: I asked for the 2 and 4 but even the 2 was loose. My fav thing about this dress was the asymmetrical hem, as it shows some leg when you walk. The the rest was not form flattering. I'm very thin, and it made me look bulky around the waist. Nice fabric, like a jersey silk. But you can't wear stockings as the fabric sticks.

I read the reviews saying it runs large so ordered a size smaller than I normally wear (normally a 4 or 6 and ordered a 2 and 4). The 2 was HUGE on me. I seriously looked like I was wearing a bed sheet. It was very unflattering and didn't hang well. The liner also would periodically bunch up which showed through the dress. I would not rent this again.

The dress was a beautiful fit for my Law school's Barrister's Ball event held at the aquarium this year! The material was so comfortable to move around in and lightweight. I was able to wear a regular bra with the dress, but I did have to keep pulling up the front part, which was a bit annoying. After reading other reviews, I decided to order down a size because the dress runs larger. Thank God! I would have been swimming in the 8R. I also am a bit more shapely down below- so the dress kept shifting when I walked- I had to be on thigh patrol all night lol the dress was fitting enough where my shape wasn't completely exposed but gave just the right amount of sexiness! I can't wait to rent another dress from your site! I received compliments all night, and my man couldn't keep his hands off me!

I was hired to sing at a wedding out of town and the bride gave me her colors so I wouldn't "clash" with the bridesmaids in ceremony photos. I'd seen this dress on RTR and since I'm usually a 12 I was concerned that the 8 would be too small (considering airplane bloat, celebratory drinks, etc). But when it arrived at my office the day before my trip, I took it home, tried it on and it fit PERFECTLY. I'm so glad I paid attention to the fitting instructions. It definitely is two sizes larger than the number on the hang tag. I had to sew the front flap back to its original position since it came undone either in transit or the last wear, but on performance day, I looked and felt comfortable and received many compliments from guests. Even the bride loved the dress. Thanks again RTR!

I'm a true 8, but with size inflation these days, I almost always wear a 6. Based on comments, I ordered the 4 and the 6. I ended up wearing the 6 - the dress is not meant to be form fitting, so there's not really any waist definition. So I can see why people are saying it runs huge, but I think it's meant to be a little drapey and loose. Also, I'm 5' 8" and wore 4" heels, and the bottom nearly touched the floor. When I switched to flats, I tied a knot in the bottom to keep it from dragging - so watch out if you are on the shorter side. Also the fabric is a bit hot and doesn't breathe that well - so if you are doing an outdoor wedding in the summer, I would suggest a different dress. That said - I really really loved it! I wore it to a wedding that I was in, and all the bridesmaids had to wear something grey. And SO MANY people asked me about the dress. The draping is really beautiful and it is unique without being too flashy. Would definitely wear again!

This dress runs large. I'm normally a 4 and wore a 0. The slit is higher than expected, so I had to avoid showing too much by using a safety pin. It's crazy comfortable, so pretty and unexpectedly flattering. I paired it with a chunky green & gold necklace from RTR for a black tie event, and received a lot of compliments. Highly recommend this dress - just size way down!

I wore this dress to a wedding and received tons of compliments all night. The dress is unique and stands out without being over the top. At the time I was almost 5 months pregnant and the dress completely concealed that fact. No one could tell as the dress is drapery and shows off your arms, legs and collarbone. I was so happy with the fit! It runs a little large, so order your size and the size down.

This dress is beautifully draped, classic and comfortable. I wore it to an event at Carnegie Hall and got a million compliments. Runs a little big, but the draping made up for the bigness. The material is like liquid silk.

This dress is absolutely fabulous, incredibly chic and very well constructed. It does run small (I am tall, thin and generally wear a 4 or a 6); based on the reviews I ordered a 2 and a 0 and while 0 was uncomfortably small, the 2 fit me like a glove. It looks amazing with gold accessories, and the fabric is silky and feels very luxurious. I absolutely loved the sexy slit in the front (allowing for a flash of leg as I walked), and the sophisticated draping in the back.

I'm usually a 4 or a 6 with Size D Cup breasts. I read the reviews and they mentioned that the dress runs large so I ordered a 0 and a 2. I wore the 0 no problem. Definitely order small but awesome dress.

I wore this to officiate a friend's outdoor wedding. It was perfect - the draping made it look like a very fashionable minister. It's easy to wear, if hard to figure out how to put on. The draping can fold several ways, and it took me a little while to figure out how it was supposed to go. It was comfortable and mod. Curvy women can wear this, although it isn't the most flattering cut. Like I said, this was perfect for my unique need, but otherwise I don't think I would rent again.

I am 5'10 and 140... broad shoulders and good size hips. I thought I would rock this dress, but I looked like I was swaddled in a bed sheet! The corner of the dress was touching the ground which I thought was odd as I am not exactly a short person. Very light fabric but too much of it. Was my backup dress so I only had the one size to try. If the waist was cinched in a little it would have helped... I think my shoulders were just too big.

I ordered two different Helmut Lang dresses, this one was too big on me. It was the fit/draping of the dress that seemed to swallow me. I think a taller person with curves could pull it off.
