Loved this dress! It was perfect for work party but still sexy!
I received a lot of compliements all night! Very soft material and the long was a must for my height. I didn't have to adjust my dress all night either, the slit and material stayed in place.

The dress received so many compliments.
Loved the fit and the dress. It was slimming and draped, masked the "not so fit" areas. The perfect combo of classy and sexy. My only complaint would be that the dress I wore seemed a little worn, the black was not super BLACK but looked more like a shirt that was washed a little too much. I wore a 4in heel which fit perfect length wise Though I was hoping to wear a 6in platform which would have been too high with the dress.

I wore this to my law school's barrister ball and loved it. I am only 5'2" tall and I was a bit worried that the long dress wouldn't look good, but because of the material's fit it worked out perfect. The neckline on the dress is so unique and everyone who saw me in it wanted the dress themselves! I got a ton of compliments all night long from both guys and gals and was trying to think of any other place it would be appropriate to wear a long, slinky dress to!! I will definitely be keeping my eye on the RTR website to hope that maybe this dress will be sold (like Kat)!
The fit was perfect, the material is tight but it is very flattering. The rushing on the dress works out great. The jersey material was super comfortable to be in for a long night too. The dress isn't a true black, it's got almost grayish-brown in it, the sheen of it is really similar to a raw silk look. The length was perfect for me, I wore normal heels, nothing super tall, and it worked out great.

I got so many compliments! I was called a movie star, and I got to wear an amazing designer! Thank you a million times over!
Ohhhh my goodness. When I got my RTR package from my UPS man, I ripped it open to try on my dress. Even though my hair was up in a pony tail and I still had my socks on, I felt like a million bucks. Fast forward to my holiday cocktail party - hair done, heels on - people were calling me a movie star! Everyone was telling me I needed to find a way to keep this dress! Believe me, I was thinking of a way to do it! I keep checking eBay to see if it pops up somewhere. I think I actually shed a tear when I dropped the envelope into the mailbox. The model in this photo definitely does not do the dress justice. If you have a little curve, all the better, the dress definitely highlights it in all the right places. And the neckline is so gorgeous. Wear some statement earrings to make sure you show off that neckline! So RTR...um..if you need to retire this dress, you know who to call, right? [This girl]

The dress gave me that classic night out in New York feel!
Loved this dress! The fabric hugged in all the right places and the slit gave it a bit of an edge. It was easy to move around and dance in and I received tons of compliments. Only real issue for me was that it wasn't long enough with heels (I ordered the long version as well).

Adorable guy came over and said "I have to talk to you in that dress."
This dress is gorgeous; the model doesn't do it justice. I wore it to a benefit on recommendation from a RTR stylist and was complimented right and left. Though most other women were wearing short dresses, I felt completely comfortable between the tightness of the material and the high slits. And it looks very Pippa Middleton from behind which never hurts.

You can't go wrong with this black dress
Wore this to an Air Force ball and stood out because it was so understated in a sea of sparkly and colorful dresses. I loved the slit and the neckline, and the stretchy fabric was so comfortable, I could sleep in the dress. The only note I have on the fit is the length- this dress is really long! I got the regular because the long was unavailable (I figured at 5'9" I would need the long), but it worked out for the better because the regular was plenty long- long enough for me to wear 5 inch heels!

Statement making without being overly flashy
I wore this to my sister's rehearsal dinner. It was fun, comfortable and gorgeous and very easy to dress up or down. The Regular was a great length, even for my petite stature. I wore it with 4 inch heels but someone my height could probably get away with as little as 2''. It's very stretchy which accommodated my large bust nicely. The slit was sexy but not slutty, it wasn't as high as it looks in the picture when standing - about mid thigh to mini. I felt great all night and got a ton of compliments. There are endless ways to style this dress!

Great neckline
I really enjoyed wearing this dress... in this instance, I would say the woman makes the outfit though. There's not A LOT going on, but the neckline is very fun and unusual (in a good way)... people WILL see your shoes so make sure they are FAB and go with max or minimal accessories. Either way, this dress is a great canvas to paint on!!

Everyone loved it! Plus I was one of the few ladies in black. :-)
My whole experience was pretty scary. I was the only girl without her dress the day before prom but I wasn't too worried. When I got home my dresses were waiting for me. Sadly, the small of this dress was unavailable so they sent me another silver one (I told them i was wearing silver shoes so they could choose) it was cute but just not me. Thankfully, the medium of this dress wasn't that bad. i fit a tad loose but it still looked awesome! A little short however with my heels.

Love this dress!
This dress is so flattering and sophisticated without trying too hard. I usually wear a size 8 and felt the ML was a perfect fit. I recommend spanx to tighten everything up because the dress is slinky, but the way the fabric drapes is pretty forgiving. I'm 5'8" and wore 3" heels...the dress hit the tops of my shoes and the slit was mid-thigh (not too scandalous but definitely sexy!) The dress was easy to wear and felt effortlessly stylish. I wish I could own this dress!

I Need to Own This Dress!!!
I wore this dress to my friend's engagement diner and everyone was complimenting left and right. This dress fits beautifully, total easy, effortless elegance. With the ruching over the stomach it's very forgiving and super comfortable but even ordering the long it was nowhere near floor length, It fell around my ankles, wearing 4ins heels. That may be because I've got a serious butt and some boobs... (I'm 5'7) If you're less hourglassy(?... that's not word lol) it may fall a little longer on you. For me it being shorter was perfect 'cause it kept the dress from looking too formal but I'm super happy I didn't go with the regular. Also just a warning the slit's a little high, on me it hit my, upper-mid thigh. P.S. RTR please sell this dress!!! I would live in it if I could. Please, please, please, I need it in my life!

Lovely dress, fits well, easy to wear. Husband loved it too; he said it looked "classic". Thanks! I'm big at the shoulders (athletic build- triathlete) and this dress made me look feminine.

I would definitely get the long if you're even close to 5'7". The material is a bit "slinker" than I imagined, but beautiful nonetheless. I'm not sure why they have it styled with a necklace in the photo, the neckline is so unique that I wouldn't recommend wearing one with it.

I wore this for my fiances air force flight school graduation- classy but still sexy. I wore with the Danijo dangling earling that I LOVE. You dont want a necklace with this neckline. Fit beautifully!

Slinky, sophisticated, worn
My best friend told me this dress made me look like Pippa from behind - enough said! I wish I would have been able to rent the small-long (the dress was about 4 inches too short with heels on), but sadly it was unavailable. However, to make it work, I wore a long black fitted slip with lace trim - my girls all said it looked like it was supposed to be a part of the dress. It was very beautiful, and I received many compliments, but upon closer inspection there were a few little tears and hanging thread - but that of course comes with renting a dress. This was my first RTR experience I and I will definitely be back for more!

I really loved the look of this dress - the ruching is very flattering and it has an asymetrical neckline, which you almost cant even tell from the picture. My only problem with it is there's an attached liner underneath that is kind of a hassle to keep straight/smooth back down, and it did have a bit of a tendency to ride up when I walked, so the open side ended up looking quite risque at times. Definitely get the long if you're on the fence about length - this dress looks amazing with high heels!

A little tight - didn't wear the dress.
This dress was pretty skin tight. I ordered the small and medium and wasn't comfortable wearing either. Luckily I had a back-up so it all worked out!

The staff is so helpful!
This dress would be a stunner on a someone a bit taller.. I loved the leg slit on the side but I felt like the dress was swallowing me whole. The top is really pretty but the material is a bit heavy so I would only recommend ordering this if you are attending a formal affair in the fall or winter.. As always RTR immediately sent me another dress, which worked out perfectly, and the crisis was averted.

Great at the top, strange around the legs
I put this on and originally loved it... until I looked down! The slit area was a little to snug and I basically had one leg covered and one exposed, but not in a sexy way. I didn't end up wearing it due to this, but it is a great dress if you need to travel because it arrived with zero wrinkles!

I was disapointed in the fit and quality.
The dress runs small! I would suggest a size larger and longer if you are on the cusp! I would have required to order a medium long to accomodate my shape (5' 6") The dress also had significant signs or wear and tear...

Would look amazing on the right body shape
Didn't work for my shape - but if you have a classic womanly shape (big boobs, tiny waist, shaped hips/butt) this could look amazing on you. My waist wasn't defined enough.

Beautiful but clingy!
Loved this on the hanger. The top half fitted beautifully but the lower have clung really tightly in the hip area (I am a size bigger on bottom that I am on top) I didn't wear it has as I thought it looked a bit vulgar on me. If you are a straight shape however I would recommend this. its a really nice quality dress and looks stylish.

So Unflattering!
Made my hips look ginormous! Only rent if you are totally narrow and don't have hips. (I'm definitely hourglass) It was on the short side so when I put it on it looked like I was fat man squeezing into a little coat, I mean dress. I'm not sure who this would be good for but curvy ladies stay away!

Short!!!
1. Based on the other reviews, I was a little disappointed when trying this on... it looked a little plain. Now, this could be because I was trying it on in the dimly lit bathroom at work haha. Tonight I'll be trying it on at home with heels and my hair down. 2. It's really short on me. Granted, I'm 5'10 and should have known after reading the reviews, but the website said the model was 5'10. That's just not true at all! It hits about 3 inches above the floor. I have these amazing sparkly, beaded 3 inch heels I wanted to wear, so I'm thinking I'll just try to "own it" and draw attention to the heels... pretend it's supposed to be more tea length. I hope it works! You fake it, you make it right? I'll submit photos after the event.
