This dress was perfect for an outdoor summer wedding. The hips on this dress have jersey on them, so that makes the dress a bit more fitted and very comfortable. One word of warning: the dress is less yellow-y than it appears in the photo online. It's really more of an earth tone, with brown hues.

I liked this dress - it was perfect for going out in Vegas. I rented a size larger than normal since I'm pear-shaped - it fit perfectly.

I needed something to wear to a conservative party that I was sure would be full of blue and black dresses. I didn't want to blend into the crowd with a muted color but didn't want to stick out like a gaudy sore thumb, either. This was the perfect dress - a nice black alternative without being too bright and fit in all the right places. It was sexy without being too revealing - as long as you use booby tape. It was also very comfortable. A sure bet for a conservative event. Unfortunately, the photo doesn't do it justice (wish I had gotten a better one!).

Great dress! Wore this to dinner with friends. Has stretchy panels in the top so it had a great fit. The neckline was nice even on my 34D bust. Bottom, however, is not stretchy and does ride up a bit when sitting down...minor detail, though, for an overall great dress! Elegant, fun, classy.

Met my boyfriend's dad for the first time at a formal event. This was perfect. The dress is short, but not too short. Snug, but not too tight. I still felt sexy and dressed enough for the formal event, but not too revealing for meeting this parents!

I rented this dress for my good friends' rehearsal dinner. Wore it with grey snakeskin peep toes, a chunky short silver necklace and my hair up. The fit was good, a little big on top, but I think that's how it's supposed to be. I loved the dress and can't wait to rent again!

This dress is a beautiful muted gold color and fits true to size. I have a larger bust and this covered it nicely without being too covered up. All in all, a great rental!

This dress is classy and the color is a break from the LBD. It looks great on darker skin and brunettes!

My dresses arrived on the date and in great condition. Not owning a steamer, I was worried about possible wrinkles, but there were little to none. This dress is silk and jersey and really comfortable! I definitely recommend this dress to anyone, but be wary of the jersey and silk. It may require some spanx. :-)

I wasn't sure what to wear to a rehearsal dinner, and chose this dress because I thought it would be easy to dress up or dress down. It did not disappoint! I wore it with black patent pumps and black chunky jewelry and got many compliments (my manfriend in particular loved this dress- it's sexy but understated). The color is GORGEOUS, especially if you're dark skinned or sporting a bit of a tan. I'm usually a 4 or a 6, but I had to go with my backup size-- an 8-- in this dress to accommodate my backside, but it was a little big on the top (I'm a B cup). I rigged it up with a little double sided tape, but just be forewarned if you're bigger on the bottom then you are on the top.

Loved the color, and very flattering. Only issue was that it stretched out a bit toward the end of the night. Wore to black tie and it was perf!

The dress was great! I enjoyed wearing it - one thing you can't see from the pics is that there are soft jersey insets along your hips. This makes the dress REALLY comfortable to wear. The only downside was that it arrived pretty wrinkly, which was expected, but it was REALLY tough to steam out to the unwrinkled perfection in the photo.

The material was pilling after obviously too much wear and washing. The dress was too large too; looked like a big draping blanket. Returned without wearing it.

The dress was not what I expected. The color is less gold than yellow, it's more of a spicy mustard color and a little dull. The dress arrived wrinkled as well, which the other reviewer said so luckily I was prepared for that. What you can't tell from the photos is that the back two panels are made of cotton and when I got the dress they had those little balls all over, indicating a lot of wears. There was also a tear in the front but the Rent the Runway customer service women gave me no hassles when I decided to return. They were great, even told me I could email them over the weekend. I'm sure a less worn, unwrinkled, not torn version of the dress would look great for night out but it didn't work out for me. Too bad, really looking forward to wearing this one.

I was disappointed with this dress. The draping was unattractive and the color was a like a drab mustard. The draping probably looks better on taller women.

Not cute if you have hips and any belly. The shape and color of the dress are different and fun but I couldn't wear the dress (either size) bc it left nothing to the imagination in the hips and tummy section. I thought the layering in the front would be flattering but it did me no favors. I'm sure it would be super cute on someone more straight and narrow .

A really great dress with lovely draping, nice and loose around the bust and then quite fitted in the hip area, a style that looks great on me -- but if someone is little bigger in the hips than on top, it might not work so well. Beautiful color, a very soft mustard. My one issue was that the dress that fit me best - the 6 - was unwearable: not only was it pilled on the knit sections, there was a 4", very obvious, mend seam right down the center front! I did contact customer service and they assured me they would not try to rent it again - but no credit or offer to replace it before event. Luckily the 8 was not significantly larger & fit OK.

I rented this dress for a wedding and was really disappointed. First off, the color was much darker than I expected. It was also very wrinkly, as a previous reviewer noted. That was all fine, but the dress was in poor condition. The seams were coming apart in multiple places around the neckline and the jersey panels on the sides were pilling. It was unwearable. I called RTR and they gave me a refund.
