Dress fit perfectly. When the original dress I ordered showed up in the wrong size, RTR's amazing customer service helped me pick out another that shipped overnight in time for my event. I ended up loving the second dress even more than my first choice! Dress is snug (in a good way) and I chose not to wear a bra as it would show with how low cut the dress. Overall, cant go wrong with this dress, great color, quality and fit.

Love Herve Leger! This is the third Herve Leger I've gotten from RTR and they've always looked fabulous! I'm pretty petite and the dresses fit like gloves! I'm 58 yrs old and still feel like this is a great dress for me!

Pros: Makes your chest look AMAZING (I was able to wear a normal bra), interesting/unique color, very flattering to curves, comfortable, thick/compressive fabric. Cons: Cut of the sleeves can be unflattering if you don't have thin arms (I did a tricep workout beforehand so my arms would look more toned, but they still looked a bit flabby in photos), quite expensive. Also, the sides of the chest area (under my armpits) seemed quite stretched out in the particular dress I got. If you're larger on top, this would be inappropriate for a conservative event because it emphasizes your cleavage very prominently. Fit: M was a perfect fit for me-L would've been far too big. I would recommend sizing down if anything-having much extra fabric will diminish the curve-enhancing benefits. I did not need to wear Spanx. I wore this to my law school's semi-formal, and received tons of compliments from both men and women. I normally would not have been able to afford this dress, but my backup dress was destroyed by the previous renter, and RTR's amazing customer service meant that I was able to rent any dress that was still available as a replacement, regardless of price. I'd really wanted to rent a Herve Leger, but couldn't justify the price, so I was thrilled to be able to rent this for the same price as the Nicole Miller dress I'd originally picked.

Amazing quality, definitely tight but still very flattering. Got a lot of compliments including from people that I didn't know. Would rent this same dress again.

I wore this to my class reunion and it fit like a glove. Good if you are looking for simplicity but sexy. The color in person is in btw brown and gray. It can work with either nude or black shoes. You can also get away with minimal accessories and let your curves shine. All in all...if I had to the opportunity to purchase instead of returning, I would have!

The Coral dress in the S size I ordered was no longer an option due to it being destroyed by previous customer, so RTR offered me an alternative - the "Keep Dreaming" dress (dark Taupe color). The only size available was an XS, but the stylist assured me that should be the correct size for me and it was! The back-up size M of the Coral sheath was too big for me, but the XS taupe one fit perfectly (though it showed way more cleavage than I'm used to showing!) and I was happy to have it for my brother's wedding. My sister tried on the M Coral dress (pictured) and looked great in it. I ended up wearing black heels with the dress as they were the only option to me since I was away from home and had the dress delivered to my hotel. Paired it with my own crystal/pewter necklace and diamond earrings. Not able to wear a bra with it, but it was fine - the dress holds you in place well enough. Overall, it was a great experience with RTR. I'm glad the last minute replacement dress fit, otherwise I would've been scrambling to find something to wear! I would definitely rent this particular dress again - i loved the color and cut of it - and love Herve Leger body con!

This dress was amazing. Got compliments on it all night. Material was very tight and sucked you in, but didn't flatter parts of the body you didn't want to show off. Was able to wear a bra and it didn't show. Color was very unique, mix between a brown and gray. Would definitely recommend for a wedding, special event, or girls night.

I received this dress in a large to replace the medium size swirl dress that did not fit me. I was very easy to wear, great color (grey with warm green/brown undertones) I did not experience any discomfort or riding up. It was lovely to wear and very flattering.

This dress is amazing. My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Las Vegas. I was worried about not having a dress for the night, but luckily, RTR had just opened a showroom at the Cosmopolitan. The staff was AMAZING. They were just as excited as I was for my event. They were able to quickly find me this dress based on what I was looking for. The dress runs small but the material is heavy and forgiving. It is classy and sexy at the same time. I totally recommend it!

I wore this dress to a harry potter themed college formal. It was absolutely amazing! Although the dress is tight, the material is thick and stretchy which makes it very flattering. It is long enough for taller girls, it hit a few inches above my knee and I am 5'10. I received tons of compliments and was comfortable dancing the night away!

I really wanted to wear this dress so I gambled on fitting into the XS because the small was not available, I barely got it on, unless your back is really tiny I wouldn't try the XS. The color is more of a slate grey than the picture of the model. Loved wearing this!

Love, love, love this dress...the color was perfect for winter. Better than my usual black, but still dark. I wore it with nude heels and silver strappy heels. Both worked well!

Loved this dress. It fits very snugly, so at first I thought the medium was too small, but everyone loved it. Compliments galore. I don't think I've ever looked better. No need for a bra, but spanx that went up to the bra line were very helpful.

I'm normally a size four. I could have worn the small--but felt most comfortable in the medium for a curvier bottom, definitely roomy on top.

I rented this to do post-fight interviews at a local MMA event, and it was perfect. I got tons of compliments, and it was dressy enough to look professional, but with relatively low-key accessories and nude pumps it didn't look too fancy for a fight show. The color was a warm, dark grey verging on taupe, and the M fit perfectly (I am an MMA fighter myself, so I carry some muscle, but I'm 5'7" and was about 148 lbs when I wore this - sometimes I wear a S in Herve, but a backup size wasn't available for this date and the M luckily was just right). I was able to wear a regular bra with no straps or cups showing (VS Bombshell for the extra boost). Also wore Assets by Sara Blakely High-Waist Mid-Thigh Super Control (the Spanx lady's less expensive line, purchased on amazon) just to make sure everything was sucked in and bumpless, and it gave me no panty lines or show-through in this dress.

I was so nervous for my first RTR rental....but I was so happy with this dress! I ordered the medium and got the large as my extra size, and I'm glad I did since I needed the large! It's definitely tight, but the length (knee length) kept it appropriate for my age (35) and the occasion (wedding). I didn't wear a bra (for the first time ever) and everything stayed in place. The color is a dark grey, with almost brownish undertones. I got a lot of compliments all night and definitely felt good in the dress. I would totally try another Herve!

I let my husband choose a dress for me to rent for his friend’s wedding, this is the one he picked. I was a little worried that it would be a little too sexy and form fitting for a friend’s wedding, but I really loved the dress once I put it on! It Fit great (it was very form fitting, but not in a bad way, it hugged all the right places), looked great and it was very comfortable. It didn’t ride up at all, even while dancing! I will rent this dress again!

Was a bit loose in the chest, however to be expected with a small bust. Loved the length, about 4 inches above knee.

Beautiful dress. Definitely not for girls with a lot of bust or you will be on the verge of inappropriate (depending on your event this might be okay of course). XS was a tad tight around my chest but not uncomfortable. Everything else about it was perfect - didn't ride up, was able to wear a tiny pair of undies and they couldn't be seen through because the fabric is thick. You will need a helping hand to get the clasps fastened and zipped in.

I did not wear spanx underneath this dress just a very padded push up bra! It was very comfortable, did not ride and stayed put all night. The color is gorgeous and the fit! WOW!! It's so thick and it just holds you in all the right places! Everyone said it looked gorgeous! The L was too bunchy in the back, the M was perfect because it stretched out a little bit throughout the night.

I'm usually a small or extra small. I'm really glad that I got the Medium as my second size because it fit almost perfectly. I'd rent this dress again.

it was a very tight dress only loose near the bust area since im a 32/34 A i went an XS so it could hold my small cupcakes a bit better :) got so much comments on the dress the only con is that since i have a short torso it looked a bit weird where the cinched waist ended on my hip bones making me feel wider than i am. i would recommend for curvy or thin long torso ppl :) if you have the cupcakes this dress will make them look 100% better :D i love herve leger will def be renting in the future!!

If you're narrow waisted, size down to the XS. Paired with CL heels and Prada clutch for a Saturday night in Vegas. This dress is incredible and got a lot of attention. Only wear if you want to make a lasting impression.

I really nervous about renting this dress because there was only medium available. I thought I might need a large but ended up renting the dress anyway. The dress fit perfectly (with Spanx to hold everything in). It's very low in the front so I didn't end up wearing a bra, the dress was tight enough to hold everything in place. I didn't end up wearing it to the holiday party I rented the dress for because it was a little too revealing in the front. But it fit so nicely that I wore it for date night the previous night. The dresses arrived early in the morning, in great condition. They were clean and well maintained. Overall it was a great first experience with Rent the Runway. I received so many compliments on both dresses I rented. I will definitely be renting again!

I normally don't go for tight dresses, but this dress was super flattering and comfortable so I couldn't resist! I wore this to the Webutante ball and got so many compliments I think I will rent it again for my next party! The cap sleeve and longer length made it definitely more comfortable considering how tight the dress is and how low the neckline falls - would recommend for anyone hesitant to wear something super fitted because it is just that flattering!

I am 5'6' and 116 - the small was out of stock so I ordered medium. It was a little big - but was fine. I love the color of this dress and the fit. It is so comfortable. I received so many compliments regarding the dress from my friends and strangers. I would wear this again in a heart beat!

I absolutely loved this dress and it couldn't have been more perfect for my big night. I participated in a 10 week fundraising competition, and knew I needed a great look for the grand finale gala at the Fairmont because there was a good chance I won and would have to give a speech on stage in front of 400+ people. I did, and it turns out they featured photos of the winners in the local 7x7 magazine, and one of the pictures in the dress will also be featured on an SF bus ad (so Carrie Bradshaw haha). Thank GOODNESS for RTR!! Definitely needed Spanx to suck everything in, and rented the earrings they suggest too which were absolutely perfect.

This was my first experience with renting a HERVÉ LÉGER and it was fun. Overall the color was hard to explain. Inside it looked like a slate grey outside more of a light grey. The only size available was a M and I had to pull it down often so I am unsure if I would have fit in a S or not. Overall I was happy with the rental.

I loved wearing this dress! I ordered both the medium and large. The medium fit me better overall but was too tight in the chest so I wore the large. The "V" in the chest was a bit too revealing for a wedding but if you tape it you should be fine. I was nervous about wearing such a fitted dress but I have to say it was extremely flattering on. It sucks in all of the bad (but isn't uncomfortable) and shows off all of the good! Can wait to rent another Hervé Léger!
