This dress is even better in person! The color is a beautiful deep red (not too orange or pink). I relied very heavy on reviews for fit, so I hope this helps. I am 5'8, 127#, 36D..I am "thin" but ...I am also 45 years old! This dress pulls everything in tight that was much tighter in my 20s and 30s=) It was pretty "boob-a-licious" so something to keep in mind if you have a larger chest and don't want to be too revealing. However, it is an extremely classy dress and the length is very nice if you are trying to stay age appropriate. I received a ton of compliments and felt awesome in it! Worn with regular undergarments. (a lower back bra would be helpful, my boyfriend had to keep an eye on my back strap throughout the eve and tuck it down). Nude shoes and I rented the Kenneth Jay Lane Ruby Drop Earrings...Spectacular!

I normally wear a 6-8, and this fit perfectly. It was body hugging but very comfortable and flattering - the fabric has a lot of stretch. No special underwear needed, the dress itself holds you in like spanx!

I loved the snug fit, the length is great to look mildly conservative, but still sexy. It's also thick fabric, which was nice to wear in February! I think this would be a tough dress to wear in the heat of the summer.

This dress is amazing! I got so many complements and felt like I was the star of the show all night long. Wore this for a NYE party and couldn’t have picked a better dress to wear. Very comfortable and easy to move in. Fits like a glove and shows off all the right assets perfectly without looking too much. Very classy yet very sexy. You will love this dress. Only complaint is I am short and dress is a bit longer than I thought it would be based on pictures, but I paired it with super high black stiletto booties and problem was solved. Rent it ASAP!

This dress is VERY flattering - I mean VA VA VOOM. The quality and weight of the fabric will compliment any figure. That said, it's also VERY restrictive, don't plan on eating very much. My only issue is that the cut in the back was so low that my bra was exposed. I wear a 34D and always have a minimum of 2 rows of hooks. A single hook bra might be fine, though. Would have been great if there was enough side coverage to go without a bra since the restrictive nature of the cut and fabric was actually quite supportive, in general, but there was too much revealed for my comfort.

Could be slightly pilled in the front. It hangs VERY low, so if you don't want to show cleavage, this is not the dress for you. Prepare to look sexy!

I will start by saying this: I have a challenging body type. I'm short everywhere (especially the torso) and very hourglassy, much unlike the model in the picture on the site. The dress itself is gorgeous, but it's tricky for big busted short girls. My bra would show a little bit in the front, under the armpits and in the back. And the dress would ride up a little when I walked because I was just slightly too short in the torso. Also, I only ordered a medium afraid it would be too small, but I wish I had tried a small as well. The dress has a good amount of stretch (it's so comfortable and flattering, just like you'd expect). I definitely thought it fit like more of an 8 than a 6.

I rented this dress for a fall wedding. I had also rented a back up because I was afraid the red would be too much in person but that was definitely not the case. The dress still does stand out so if you want to fade in to the background it is not for you. But overall the color is more of a dark red that goes well with fall colors and the dress itself stayed put all night and I felt completely comfortable.

Perfect fit, best material, received a ton of compliments...this may be the best dress I ever wore in my life. If you are on the fence between two dresses...THIS is it.

This was my backup dress, and I didn't end up wearing it because I opted for the Blue Herve Leger instead (it was a tough choice because both dresses looked fantastic!) I don't like my legs so I loved the length of this dress (same to the knee) which is hard to find being 5'8! I would definitely rent this again...the dress is a cranberry red so good for a fall wedding.

I rented this dress to wear on my bday but unfortunately due to my big bust I could not get this baby zipped up over my boobs. The criss cross front doesnt give much and the zipper would not budge for the last 3-4 inches. :( Otherwise, beautiful dress! The color was amazing, very disappointed I didnt get to wear it! Luckily I ordered another Herve to go with this one and I did manage to squeeze the girls into it! :)

The red is just as beautiful in person - not rosy or orange - just perfect. I put it as true to size based on other reviews. For me, M was still quite snug, so I went with the Aqua Adventure Herve Leger (which apparently runs big).

Beautiful cranberry color, but I ordered an XS and the S wasn't available in this color. The XS was wayyyy too small for me. I give it 4 stars becuase I went with the gray colored one a size up and it's a sexy dress!

Small was not available, so rented the medium and it was big. Looked great anyway, just not tight like it was meant to be.

This dress is tight, so it pays to get your size and the next one up just for good measure. It hugs your body and shows off your curves, and is great for cocktail hour. I recommend it!

I'm an 8 and the Medium was pleasantly snug on me. I'm 5'10" and the skirt length was still appropriate, the design hit in pretty much the right places. I'd rent it again!

The red is a bit deeper than it appears in the photo. Almost a burgundy. Still a beautiful color, though. This dress ran a bit small for me. I'm usually an XS in Herve Leger. I was able to zip it up, but it was a little TOO snug, even for an Herve. I would recommend sizing up with your free second size, just in case. I would have done the same with this one, but they were out of the Small when I ordered it. Otherwise, it was a great dress.

The color is brillant. I was unable to wear this dress because it was too tight across the bust. I could not get the XS zipped, and I found it difficult to breath in the S.

I had previously ordered a Herve Leger in an XS and it was perfect so I ordered the XS in this style and looked a bit like a stuffed sausage! Was a shame because the color was absolutely gorgeous and would have been sexy. Definitely runs small.
