This dress fit and felt absolutely amazing! I have always wanted to wear a bandage dress. Feeling the quality of the material on my skin made me quickly realize the reason for the retail cost of the dress. It hugged everywhere it was supposed to and was very forgiving for areas I am not so proud of. The shoulder straps stayed in place without any help from fashion tape. I was able eat and dance very comfortably throughout the night without worry that unflattering traits would be revealed to all. Most importantly, I felt SEXY!

I rented this dress for the after party of "Miami Beach International Fashion Week" - I got the best compliments!

Wore this dress for my birthday. Extremely comfortable and fitting to the body without feeling suffocated. I am athletic and felt there was enough support to skip the bra (would need to be creative with undergarments as the back was pretty low on me and you would have been able to see my bra in the back). The neckline felt a little stretched out, but it still fit wonderfully. Recommend getting your true size - I ordered the M.

Everything fit great except the length. It was a bit long, but looked okay with heels.

I wore this dress for my non-profit's holiday event. It fit and looked great and I received a ton of compliments. The only issue I had was the length. I'm somewhat short at 5'4" and needed to pin the hem so it didn't fall below my knees. Other than that, I loved wearing this dress.

I loved the way this dress felt from the moment I put it on. Even thought to myself, "So this is how expensive dresses actually feel!" Hugged my body perfectly without being skimpy or clingy. Loved it!

The dress was true to size, but was a little loose in the bust area. Beautiful dress but not be the best length for petites. I am just under 5'2" and it hit below the knees, which gave it a more matronly look.

Wore this dress to my graduate school graduation! One of the best dresses I have ever worn! So comfortable, but stylish and sleek! Molds to curves nicely, but very conservative as well- perfect for a graduation.

This dress was gorgeous and perfect for my friends swank downtown wedding. The material makes the dress very fitted, so SPANX is a must. The dress also was a bit longer on me than it is on the model.

I rented this for NYE. It was longer than other Herve dresses I have worn, but that was easily fixed with the fashion tape that came with.

I rented this as a backup dress for a wedding. It looks and feels beautiful- smoothes everything out and defines curves. The only reason I didn't wear it was because I liked my primary dress better. I would definitely rent this dress again for another occasion.

Everyone has been raving about this dress - it was my first time to wear Herve Leger, but it certainly won't be my last! I ordered both the Large and the Medium and the Medium fit like a glove. I also liked the length on this Herve dress - many of them are much shorter than this one (3 inches makes a difference!) Can't wait to rent another one! THANK YOU RTR!!! :)

I originally ordered this as my 2nd choice . It was a tough decision because this dress looked great and fit perfect,so I wore it to work(slighly over dressed ,i dressed it down with a blazer)

Though the dress is intended for someone with a bit longer torso and bigger chest, the dress conformed nicely to my figure. I got tons of compliments on the dress and it was extremely comfortable for all-day wedding wear.

Fit perfectly. So many people gave praise for it looks sexy and sophisticated. Felt like a million dollars wearing it.

I wore this dress to a Sunday wedding in September. It was awesome..I received so many compliments from men friends and strangers..I felt so amazing.. form fitting..I am in great shape but did purchase spanx..totally recommend. I did not wear a bra and am 5'6" with 2" heels dress was slightly above knee. totally rocked it

*Awesome* dress. The close fit makes it very sexy while the slate color keeps the heat reined in a bit. For me this dress says "I am incredibly sensual and brainy too!" Wore it to a work-related gala with statement earrings and it was perfect. One note about fit -- I am a 36A/B and found both sizes rather overstretched in the bust area. Fashion tape helped but RTR may need to pay closer attention to excessive wear (in these HL dresses in particular, since they should be body-hugging throughout).

Rented this dress for a formal event in Newport, RI. It was the perfect dress and I received a ton of compliments. I wore the XS (I'm 5'4'', 116 lbs and small on top -- didn't wear a bra). I thought the dress was sexy but appropriate. This was my first rental and it was a breeze!

Fit perfectly!

This is a head-turning dress.! I regularly wear a size 4. I fit the small perfectly. Keep a few things in mind. The dress holds you in place all over. But a good bra and spanx help keep your curves looking full where they should be full and flat where flat is the goal. Note that back zipper is very obvious, which is a deliberate design feature but may be offputting if you don't like the look of such hardware on a dressy dress. I wore this to a black tie affair in DC and I felt spectacular.

Wore it to a night time wedding & aAbsolutely love it. Fit perfectly, I wore an XS (back up size was caught up in mail) and it all worked out! It kept the 'girls' tucked in tightly;I could have gotten away without a bra but didn't want to chance it. The gray is a little darker in person which was a nice surprise.

I wore this for my boyfriend's birthday dinner & he couldn't stop saying how amazing I looked! It hugged my curves perfectly and emphasized my waist.

Now that I own a few Herve's of my own, I realize that I wore this dress all wrong. If you can zip up this dress by yourself, YOU DID NOT GET THE CORRECT SIZE. This dress should be very form fitting and you do NOT wear Spanx underneath, or even underwear for that matter. It should do the shaping for you. I wore this dress a size too big and I wore Spanx underneath. It was bunchy and I was pulling at it all night, plus the top was too big so the edges of the fabric looked "rippled" (a sign that it was too big). I normally wear a Medium but wear a Small/Ex-Small in Herve Leger. The saleslady at the Herve store showed me how to wear them and they look AMAZING on!! So much that I own a few! :)

This was my backup dress. Its a beautiful dress (although it seemed a little worn probably due to its popularity), and based on some of the reviews I ordered a M thinking it ran a little small. I'm usually a size 4 or 6, depending on designer. The M was too big in the hip/waist area, although I'm somewhat busty, so the top fit a little better. It was passable, but not the Herve look I was going for. The small would have fit perfectly.

The dress fit well through the body and was true to size. However, I thought the length was a little long. I'm 5'8" with long legs and the hem it right around my knees. I was expecting it to be a little shorter. Other than that the dress was very nice.

RTR didn't have my back up size so the one did not fit. Love the style of the dress. Hopefully in the future a Herve Leger will be available in my size for an event. Side note: I'm not sure this is the right dress for a pear shape. You need to able to fill out the top.

While I really loved the look of this dress, and it fit my body like a glove, it was far, far too long for my tiny frame. I am only 5 feet tall and weigh about 100 pounds and it ended up falling almost to a tea length. The other reviews were conflicting -- the tall girl said it hit below her knee, while the reviewer who seems to have a shape like mine said it fit fantastically -- so I chanced it. But if I recall correctly, several of the Herve dresses are marked as good fits for petites, so I assumed it would be okay. I'm sure if you are much taller than I am you would absolutely adore this dress, but I wish I had not gone with it -- for my bachelorette party of all things! -- because I didn't feel as fabulous as I would have liked.

This dress is not very sexy. I tried it on, I'm 5"7, I wore three inch heels and it hit below my knee. I would honestly wear it to work with a blazer.

I am tall and thin with narrow hips and a small chest. This dress just did not fit me right at all. I tried both a Small and a Medium and neither dress worked. When I zipped it up (which took a LOT of effort), it make me look like a rail. Normally Herve Leger dresses accentuate my lack of curves, but this dress totally flattened me out. Something about this one just does not work for women without curves and long, narrow bodies.

I was surprised at how much longer this was than the picture! I had a backup dress that I wore instead because it was a little uncomfortable...

I wore this dress to my birthday party and it was a total hit! I felt fabulous!
