Despite being form fitted, the fabric really holds things in. It's really a pretty flattering dress, though the scoop neck is pretty low so it's not the right thing to wear if you want to dress modestly. I've seen a few reviews saying these dresses run small because they were tight in the reviewer's normal size, but Herve Leger dresses are SUPPOSED to be very tight. If it's at all loose, anywhere, it doesn't fit you. It is a "bandage" dress after all. A great option for a birthday or cocktail party!

The small fit true to size but may be a bit long on more petite girls.

I am pretty busty and it worked well without seeming too revealing. I had to wear it with a bra that was very low in the back, but it wasn't a problem. I ordered a S and a M and I was probably in between the two sizes. I'm happy that I went up a size, however.

I absolutely loved this dress and wore it to an evening wedding. I received multiple compliments from guests, and even the bride said, "you look like a supermodel!" It's VERY form fitting & will pretty much show everything, but I felt great in it. I'm pretty busty, but opted to go sans bra to keep things looking smooth. My fiance absolutely loved the dress. It was very sexy, but still classy.

Had a NYE yacht party and this dress was perfect. I stood out because everyone else was wearing sequin or gold dresses! At first, I felt like it was a little long for a NYE dress, but it hugged in all the right places and made me feel sexy & classy at the same time. Paired it with black patent Louboutins but would recommend a nude shoe.

I rented this dress for my college graduation and felt like a million bucks! The hemline was long enough to be classy, but it still showed off a nice bit of decolletage :) It is definitely more of a red color in person! Matched my school colors perfectly!

this dress is perfect for when you want to cover your assets but still show them off. my larger chest was completely covered with just a hint of cleavage, and it hit me right at the knee (but i am short, 5'1".) the sexy part is how it hugs your curves without serving them up on a platter for everyone to see. I wore this to a wedding and felt sexy but classy.

Didn't fit so well. The medium was awkwardly stretched. Still rocked it. Received many compliments and felt very sexy.

I ordered the XS and the small. I have an A-cup bust and the small was a little big in the top. I will say that if you're very small up top that you will need a strapless padded bra or else the XS will fit like a sports bra and make you look even smaller. I wore the XS because it does magical things for your body and the small was too big in the top. Be aware - it is tight. I've never worn any other Leger dresses, so the other reviewers who have might know better, but this was a very snug fitting dress. If the fabric weren't so expensive looking and feeling, it wouldn't have born worn to my event because of how form fitting it is.

The color is gorgeous and the dress is so pretty! I wrote that the fit is large, but that is only compared to other Legere's that are tighter. I own this dress in another color, so I rented it to wear to an event because I knew it would fit.Only minus is that it is hard to find a bra that looks natural under this style sine the back is so low. I prefer to wear it braless.

I didn't end up being able to wear this dress, because at the last minute I couldn't find my double sided tape. You definitely need the tape if you're going to wear a bra, because the straps sit on the very edge of the shoulder. Gorgeous dress though, fits great, pretty color.

First time renting so abit nervous. Delighted w/ this dress ! So flattering. Normally wear a size 2. Rented Size S & XS. Both fit, but wore the small since I was wearing it to a "conservative" event & did not want anything too tight-fitting. Both dresses arrived in perfect condition. Will rent a Herve Leger again for sure !!!

I wore this to a wedding, not my favorite but it worked. The small was a little big in the waist area. While the xs was really snug in my hips.

Not my favorite dress that I rented. The dress would have looked better if it was shorter. As well as I have a large bust of a 34D and still it was not flattering on top. I advice finding a great push-up bra to give more of a flattering look on top. The color was more in the red family, then in the purple as the picture displays. Love the designer, but not one of my favorite dresses.

I loved this dress! I normally wear a 2/4 so I rented the XS and the S, expecting the S to be the better fit. Surprisingly, the XS was a little roomy on me. Regardless of the sizing issue, I looked and felt great in the dress! I would definitely recommend Hervé Léger and RTR to my friends.

The scoop neckline and shoulder straps stay in place but are a little awkward with a regular strapped bra. Hugs curves and creates an hourglass figure. Plan ahead and use a strapless bra.

If you are an A or B cup, then this dress is a cute, sexy-yet-modest, cocktail dress. If you are like me (a 30G), then you will likely feel like a high-class hooker. It definitely hugged and flattered my curves, and I was turning heads of both guys and gals...but I felt rather exposed. I wore my shawl all night to try and cover up. My poor boyfriend had trouble keeping his eyes on my face all night and he would try to nonchalantly stand behind me to prevent anyone from staring at my well-accentuated ass. I usually wear a 4 and the small fit VERY well (a little too well) but the medium was ill-fitting.

Runs a little large. Not as sexy as I had hoped, but still flattering and creating curves. Will go for lower cut Herve Leger next time!

Great dress, looks as expensive on as the pricetag. I thought this dress would have been super tight, given the bandage knit fabric, but it was actually on the big side of the size. Since I found it to run a little big, I would suggest ordering it in your size + one size down.

This dress came with SEVERAL holes along the seems, totally unwearable. RTR Customer service did get back to me and was able to send over a new dress, but it took more than a day to hear from them. If I hadn't been in NYC I would've been without a dress. Someone to answer the customer service line would also have been nice. As for the replacement dress, totally hot and fit terrific.
