I wore a jacket over it and pinned the straps to try to keep them up. Other than the straps it was a beautiful dress and it looks great on.

The dress is really long as are the straps, definitely best suited for someone on the taller side

The only person who liked this more than me was my husband! Needed a sticky bra and fashion tape to get the top to fit right.

I have rented several Hervé Léger pieces in the past and they all ran incredibly small. This dress definitely had a looser fit, especially in the chest area. I found the straps to be just slightly too long. The length worked for me being tall but if shorter than 5’7” I could see this being way too long for many others.

Loved the fit and color—perfect green to go with many seasons. Boobs were supported but the neck tended to stretch downward as the night wore on and I did have to tug it back up several times so as to avoid a nip slip but overall it wasn’t too bothersome

It was super flattering and looked so good in person. The straps are a bit large but you can make it work with some fashion tape and a sticky bra.

I rented this to wear out on St. Patrick’s Day and it was completely unwearable. Luckily, they gave me a replacement item.

Love love love this dress! While it was a little “too” sexy for the wedding I was looking to wear it to, I will definitely rent it again for another event, since I felt amazing it in and it showed off all my curves in the best way.

I had to size down on this one. By the chart on the Leger website, I should have been a small, but I was swimming in the S and the XS was spot on. Additionally, the straps on this one run long and are apt to fall down. I made do, but I suspect that RTR is hanging thesr dresses from hangers for storage and that's causing the straps to stretch permanently. Leave yourself time to address that potential issue. If one is industrioys you might be able to use teensy tiny safety pins as bra strap holders to keep them up. I didn't do that, afterall, but I considered it. I was able to wear this with a balconette bra that has fully movable straps. As in, the back band allows you to adjust the straps to attach at any point along the band from right under your arms to right next to the hook and eyes, at half inch spaces So, I was able to conceal the straps in back. This would not have worked with a traditional bra as the straps would show in back. Also, the neckline sat juuust above the cups on mine. Most strapless will show at the top of the neckline as the cups tend to sit higher but this neckline is low. You need low cups and very wide set straps. A sticky bra may work for some, or no bra at all with this one. Otherwise, very attractive, flattering, classically lined dress. Hubs loved it, and my kids, from toddler to teen all said the same. It's hard to squeeze a compliment out of a 16 year old. So, that speaks for itself.

I’ve worn, owned and rented other Herve Leger dresses and I know my size. This one was just extra tight! Like I can’t breathe tight! The color is beautiful and the style is fun, although the straps are a bit long making the neckline a bit too plunge for me. It’s also very very long so if you’re not supermodel tall I don’t see how it would work on an average person. Sadly, I didn’t get to wear it and ended up wearing something in my closet to the wedding.

The straps are so long. I had to safety pin them together in the back to get them to stay up.

The straps were way too long for me and kept falling off my shoulders, I didn’t end up wearing due to fear of clothing malfunction.

I love Hervé but this dress failed me. The length was perfect maxi but the top was too large even with my “add two cup sizes bra” and straps too long and kept falling off of my shoulders. I was going to dress it down with sneakers, light denim jacket and a baseball cap for brunch but I couldn’t wear it with how poorly it fit :(

This dress was extremely tight but fit well except for the straps. There is no opportunity with the way the dress is constructed to shorten them with a pin. I suppose it is meant for someone with a very full bust. Could not wear.

The straps (non-adjustable) were much too long. I really don't know what body type this would fit - maybe someone with a very voluptuous chest? The bodice fit properly.
