Last time I rented this I got a size M...that wasn't available this time so I went for the S. It fit well but I prefer the M because the S hugged my curves a bit too much/showed more bumps lol BUT it worked. This dress is incredible - everywhere I went in it I got complimented! It works with heels and flats and boots. Wore it during a London work trip in November and I could easily go from office to dinners and be comfortable from 8am to 8pm in this. I LOVE THIS DRESS!

So stunning, and very stretchy! Definitely form fitting, and might accentuate any problem spots in your stomach- but it's a great dress. Fun, classy and unique! I will totally rent again- for a party or an event next time.

I was very pleased with this dress. I wore to a business lunch and received many compliments. It is form fitting, but the conservative neckline, long length and long sleeves made it a fun business outfit for my industry. Would rent again.

Loved the look of this dress. Very form fitting so I did wear spanx undies to suck me in a bit. This dress was super sexy but still conservative with the length.

I love the fitted waistline. Very flattering at the bust. I added a black cardigan and leggings for the day gig to take a little attention away from my figure. It's a thin fabric, perfect for spring. I needed my partner to zip me up. The different kinds of vertical lines make it so intriguing. I'm tempted to make it a permanent part of my wardrobe.

It is not the really tight thick material that you usually think of with Herve Leger, it is breathable and comfortable and thin but still makes you feel kept into its shape. The colors are gorgeous in person, bright but not so attention grabbing. It will show any rolls and bumps so you’ll need your spanx. I like that this dress looks conservative because of the neck line and long sleeves but also subtly sexy.

I lovedddd this dress, but since I carry all of my weight in the middle, I felt like it didn’t love me back quite yet. I think if I had other curves to balance it out I would’ve rocked this dress, but I felt like it was hugging my stomach just a bit too snug for me to feel comfortable tearing up the dance floor later! This photo was taken while wearing shape wear. With that being said, the style and cut made the smallest part of my waist feel so extremely tiny! My muffin top is my biggest insecurity, but that’s my own problem! You on the other hand NEED to rent this dress and let me live vicariously through you!

What struck me when I put this on was how light, smooth and cool the fabric is. Very high-end garment, feels beautiful. I do like the pattern and the cut on other people, but on me, I thought it was just WAY too much. Far too busy a pattern for big-busted body, in my opinion. I didn't wear it out and am going to swap it. My measurements: 37 bust 29 waist 41 hip

Overall the dress is nice but sweater material is thin so it shows all your lumps and bumps. I am a true 8 and this was tight. Tho I think a large I would have been swimming in it.

More purple than burgundy. Great color for fall and can be dressed up or down. Work-appropriate with a blazer and leggings. Not the usual Leger stunner, but nice still.

Gorgeous color, great fit, luxurious fabric. Thin, but perfect for winter in LA. Looks great paired with a black belt and boots. I would have bought it if it were less expensive. Loved it!!

Fit true to size no weird rolls or bagging. Such high quality rib knit. Wore to a beauty convention. Loved the long sleeves because it can be cold in hotel conference rooms. Paired with booties it was beauty work appropriate and a little fun at the same time. Great quality garment.

Rented this for work and ended up wearing it with leather leggings underneath because it was so short and all right. Still loved it though!

It's Herve, so I was expecting firm fitting. What I was pleasantly surprised by was just how comfortable the dress is. It was like wearing pajamas. This is perfect for a night out.

My 6 year old applauded when I came out in this dress. It's definitely form fitting, but I wore it with regular tights without shapewear. I felt confident and loved the fit, fabric, and colors. Wore it to a breakfast event and a work lunch. Wish I could keep this one - would definitely rent again!

Wore with spanx. Super comfy and stretchy. Not too short. Love the waistband detail, really shows off curves. (Was a little looser in the back prob from many people wearing, but didn't bother me)

Love the material and pattern. I wore it for family photo's. I would have worn for work, but it is too form-fitting around the butt to be work appropriate.

Rented this for a trip to Ireland. It was warm, stylish and the material was comfortable. The color is also gorgeous and I normally don't do purple. I had previously rented an XS dress from the same designer, but as others have mentioned, all his bandage-style items highlight every square inch of your mid-section. Glad I sized up, didn't feel like I needed something like Spanx. Would rent again.

A little see through which is another reason I gave 4 stars, would have had to wear something different anyways beciase of that. It was a really cute dress, not my average style but it fit great. True to size and it stretched a lot so it was comfortable for being so small.

This is a sharp looking dress and very comfortable. I ordered up a size given the reviews saying it runs small, but I still thought the dress was much, much too form fitting. I could make out the shape and detail of each breast, though I was wearing a brassiere. And it isn't a great dress to wear a jacket with, with its long sleeves and form fitting shape, either. Maybe choose it for a date dinner.

If you're between sizes I recommend sizing up. I like my dresses really fitted but as a curvy size 4/6 the recommended size medium looked painted on. The dress pattern makes anyone look curvier but if you're already curvy it risks looking cartoonish.

This brand always run snug, but I continue to forget. If you're standing still it's a perfect dress and absolutely adorable but as soon as you move it begins to bunch in the center line of the body (like if you were to fold yourself in half) - especially Not great for a woman with a short torso.

Not for hourglass body types unless you’re going to a party or somewhere you don’t mind REALLY showing your figure. Not my style.

Bandages are usually thicker than this. Not flattering at all if there are any curves or bumps.

I don't often review but this dress was lovely. the colors are perfect for fall, the long sleeves were nice for the cold, and it has a flattering shape. I maybe could have gone to the xs--it wasn't too short, and I'm 5'8. Wish I could buy it!!
