So this dress is extremely hard to get on, but I wasn't surprised - it's an herve leger bandage dress, it's supposed to be that tight! So zipping was a struggle, but once it was on,it felt great! It doesn't ride up or come down an inch, because it's snug, but that was actually very comforting to know I wasn't gonna flash anybody. It definitely showed everything and besides wishing I had some spanx? Wouldn't change a thing!

After renting from RTR throughout the year, I received an email for a free dress rental! All I had to do was fill out a little survey to help the company gain some feedback. As part of the reward, participants chose a few different dates they would like to receive their dress. I received an email shortly afterwards assigning me a date that my dress would be sent. The only other stipulation was that you only received one size for this rental (fine by me). As for the dress, I have rented Herve Leger in the past and am a little obsessed. I loved the fit and quality as well as the compliments I received. I was a former runway rep at my school and the sailor bandage dress was featured in one of our fashion shows. When I got the email for my free rental I knew right away this was the dress. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed upon arrival. I rented the xs, as this is the size I had previously worn in Herve. I don't know if it was because it was a slightly different material, not as frequently rented, or just the style of the dress, but this dress was much tighter than the Heartbreaker dress. I got it on, but I had to have my friends help zip me in (and i swear i'm not big). The dress is gorgeous and looked fine on, but it was not so comfortable to dance and move around in. The Heartbreaker seemed to stretch and move with you while this was definitely more restricting. If renting I would suggest going a size up!

This dress is beautiful, it is going to be tight, to be honest when I pulled it out of the package I thought it was a joke, it looks so tiny!! But it wasn't "suffocating" tight at all, I got a ton of compliments and I felt really good in it! I would definitely rent this again!

I wore this dress to my best friend's birthday and felt amazing! It tight spandex material is very slimming. I got so many compliments, I will certainly rent herve again!

This dress was super snug, definitely order a size larger. But it is super cute and I felt great in it. Wouldn't mind wearing it again!

Love this dress. I normally wear a Medium but went up a size based on reviews. The L fit great. Was a bit surprised by the large seam on the side.. was expecting it to be in the back like other Herve dresses that I've seen. Not a big deal. Definitely recommend it. I got so many compliments!

I took the XS since it was the last size available. I'm usually a 0-2 in size depending on the manufactuer. I've never tried a Herve Lager dress before, but it was definitely a tight fit. Some of the bandages have different elasticities which, if it's too small, will definitely show some bulging in areas. Otherwise it was a very hot dress and makes one appear much smaller. I couldn't even fit spanx underneath.

I've never owned nor rented a "nice" dress before so I don't know how this works, but I am normally between a small and a medium and I had to try to squeeze into the medium with all my might. It was surprisingly comfortable considering it took 5 minutes and a good amount of wiggling to put it on, and looked pretty flattering (although I wouldn't have minded a little less fitted on my butt). Next time, I'll get a large.

Normally, i wear a XXS or XS, but i ordered an XS to be safe which i'm so glad i did. Maybe this dress hadn't been worn before, but it was a tight squeeze! Still beautiful nonetheless!

This is an extremely fitted dress, but once it's on, it's a dream. I rented it for a wedding, but ended up not wearing it because I felt like I needed something a little more demure. One friend told me I looked like I should be painted onto the side of a B52! It's incredibly sexy and flattering...I'd recommend it to anyone who is confident enough to wear it!

I wore this dress to a regearsal dinner. As with most Herve Leger dresses, budget extra time for zipping because it's very tight. Once in, it was very comfortable and really cute. I would imagine this you would bulge in this dress if you're not little/fit. No bra needed - the less you wear under this tight dress, the better.

Like others, I had to put in a considerable amount of effort to get the dress on, but at least it wasn't stretched out! It's supposed to be really tight, and once you get it on it's not uncomfortable. Very slimming, sexy dress-- as long as you're comfortable with your body, I would definitely recommend it! Order your size and the size up, just in case.

Unfortunately, I was unable to wear the dress because it runs smaller than advertised. DEFINITELY get a size up.
