The dress fit perfectly - no nip slips, no straps falling, no gaps under the arms. I could dance and move comfortably all night long.

Wasn't anticipating having so much cleavage in this gown but I wore it anyways! I received compliments all night! Very thick and heavy gown but it sucks you in really well! I was only 4 months postpartum and felt very comfortable in this even though it was very fitted!

I'm 5'9" 34D and have trouble finding long dresses that fit and are long enough (long torso). I found the XSlong to be the perfect fit with a 6inch heel. it grazed the floor just perfect. I found dress tape was helpful for keeping the straps over my regular bra. I've worn lots of herve dresses before but all short - this long one was so gorgeous i never wanted to take it off. It's heavy like a typical herve (out of the bag), but when it was on, I didn't notice the weight at all. It was comfortable sitting for the vows and dinner (even with eating a ton), and dancing too! (i was nervous about a long dress dancing, but this was snug in all the right places and free in the legs and butt (like a trumpet fit). PERFECT for a the evening formal wedding in the fall. color was gorgeous. LOVE this dress

The "long" is long - it covered my 3.5 inch platform heels. It is a low neckline but it is not plunging - I was comfortable with it. It is a snug fit and I felt great in it all night.

Fantastic color in a sea of black or sparkly dresses. Sexy without being gross. It is VERY heavy dress so after five or so hours i was done :). I wear harve leger a lot and this seemed large. I typically wear a medium and the small worked perfectly. If you are small chested watch out for medium and up because it will be big up top. The way these are made you can tape up the bottom one row if you are short.

The fabric, color, fit - it was perfection. I received so many compliments and my husband couldn't stop telling me how great I looked. Will rent again from this designer!

I'm a pretty tiny woman, but have a true hourglass figure, so I often have trouble finding dresses that fit me just right. Herve Leger knocked it out of the park on this one! I tried this on as a a backup to my original dress for a black tie event, and immediately I knew this was perfect. I kid you not, when I walked down the marble steps into the venue, all heads turned. I received compliments all night, and my boyfriend couldn't get over how good it looked. It was definitely too long on me (the only length of my size that was available was long), but I used a pack of Hollywood Fashion Secrets hem tape and it held up all night. All in all, I loved this dress, and definitely will be looking into renting more Herve dresses for future events!

Amazing dress. Amazing fit. I never received so many compliments in my life! This dress was comfortable and perfect. I wouldn’t recommend for someone who has a busy bigger then a B just because there really is no coverage in that area and would not look flattering. This dress made my waist look amazing and gave me the perfect figure. I wore 6 inch heels with this dress as it was extremely long and I am 5’4 without those this dress would not have worked. All in all this dress was amazing

I loved this gown! I rented this for a military ball and couldn't have been happier. It's basically like wearing a giant ace bandage so there is no need for spanx with this one. One thing to note: the dress does run long. I am 5'6" and had to wear 5-6" heels with the size small.

This dress was amazing! I received endless compliments from my boyfriend, friends, and tons of the other ball goers. I am 5'8" and the xs long fit perfectly with approx. 4" heels. The dress has definitely got some weight to it and the straps aren't the sturdiest so I would recommend placing some double sided tape around the neckline if necessary. Despite the straps I think I would still give the dress a 10/10. Absolutely in love with this gown!

I wore this to my sons wedding. This was a gorgeous dress! I am almost 6'0" tall and the length was perfect. There wasn't a lot of difference between the small and the medium, just a little more room in the chest area. I would definitely recommend this dress!! Loved it!

This dress was a replacement for my original dress which didn't fit! The customer service representative was WONDERFULLY helpful in getting the dress delivered on time, I was a little worried! This dress fit very well I probably could have worn an XS regular instead of long., it was a little on the heavy side but overall very comfortable!

This dress is gorgeous. It was very flattering and hugged my curves. Very nice stretchy material. It is long but I wear high heals normally so it worked perfect for me! Material is heavy but it didn't bother me at all and I was dancing all night. I got so many compliments all night! I felt amazing in the dress!

This dress fits so beautifully! Although the dress is on the heavy side, dancing around in it wasn't a problem. I loved how sleek and sophisticated it was and if I could I would definitely keep it!

This was my back up and I have always wanted to wear one of these. The only reason I didn't wear this was bc it was a tad too long and heavy and I was also going to be chasing my children around so I went with one I could avoid tripping in. I absolutely loved this dress. As many of the other reviews have said it is a bit heavy but I safety pinned it to my strapless bra and had no issues at all. This wasn't my original choices but was super glad I received it as my back up. The color is an interesting gray-blue with a strong purple undertone.

Not only was the dress beautiful, but the fit was so comfortable! The length was perfect and the dress was in pristine shape. I rented this dress for my boyfriend's military ball and I absolutely loved it. The material was thick and comfortable and the color was absolutely gorgeous. The top and torso sections of the dress were fitted, but it helped to keep everything in place all night. The only thing I was worried about was the weight of the material/dress stretching out the straps, but it held up through a night of sitting/standing/dancing! I'm pretty tall, (5'10), weigh about 145 lbs, with a small bust, and normally wear a size medium in tops and 4 in bottoms. The SmallLong fit me perfectly. I wore this dress with 3 inch heels and the bottom of the dress just touched the floor! I received compliments all night and my boyfriend couldn't stop telling me how beautiful I looked. I ordered the XSmallLong as my back up which fit me as well but was a little too tight to eat dinner and dance in comfortably (previous reviews said the dress ran a little bit larger, normally I would have gone with a small long and a medium long) . All-in-all, I LOVED this dress and was so sad to send it back.

I rented this dress for a black tie wedding and LOVED IT. It was definitely body conforming and hit all my curves, but in a way that made me look fantastic. Got complimented all night! After awhile, the straps started to sag and the girls became more visible, but never popped out or anything. A little long and bunched at the bottom because it didn't hit the floor exactly right, probably could have gone for the regular instead of LL. Highly recommend, but the tag was about to come off so be careful!

It fit very well. By the end of the night the straps were a little loose, but I danced 3 hrs straight. It is a heavy dress, but it didn't bother me. Everything stayed put, no wardrobe failures. Would love to own it.

Amazing fit and I really loved how unique the color was. The dress stood out and I got compliments from complete strangers! The dress is pretty heavy because of the fabric in the long (only one available for my date needed) and pulled down at some points so if I were to order it again for another event I would stick with the regular. Very form fitting and flattering. I didn't like some pictures taken directly from the front as I think it made me look unusually wide for my frame but it could have just been the lighting at the venue. Overall, HUGE fan of this dress

I received so many compliments and would absolutely rent again for formal affair. My only potential qualm could be the straps have the potential for stretching out due to how heavy the dress is....

This dress fit like a glove and was very comfortable. I received it as a bonus dress when one of the dresses I ordered became unavailable at the last minute, and I didn't wind up wearing it to my event. Although it looked great, it was a little plain for the event I was attending. However, I really liked the dress and would consider wearing it in the future for a different event! I put that the fit was true to size, but the material stretches so it's possible you may fit into a smaller size than usual. It's low cut in the front so it's difficult to wear a bra with, but a low cut strapless or Nubra might work. I was sent the SM-L but probably could have gotten away with the regular length as the long was still a little long on me with 3 inch heels. 4-5 inch heels would have done the trick a bit better for me, but I can't wear heels that high for 9 hours!

The fit is fantastic! But like another reviewer mentioned, the straps are loose after being worn many times, so my breasts put on quite the display. I switched from a strapless gel bra to adhesive inserts that stick to the dress, and now my "bra" doesn't show. The dress is quite long, and I should've ordered a medium regular, not long. I'm wearing 4" heels and the dress drags on the ground. It is a heavy dress, so be prepared. All in all it's gorgeous, but I wish I would've ordered a shorter length.

I loved this dress online so I ordered the medium long because it was all that was left, plus I'm pretty tall so I thought it would be fine. I'm 5'8-9 and I was wearing 5in heels, and this dress still touched the floor. I actually duct taped the hem up to the length you see in the picture (but on the bright side the stripey bands on this dress make it really easy to make that look good). It fits like a glove. One thing to note is that it's SUPER heavy so if you plan on dancing it might not be the best choice. That said I loved this dress and it was appropriate for the military event where I wore it. Would definitely rent it again.

This dress was my back up and i did not wear it. It fit well all over except it was very low cut and i felt like i was going to pop out if i moved. I think a smaller size may have worked better to hold everything in place.

Like other Hervé Léger gowns, this dress material is awesome. It's really thick and holds everything in its place. Wore it with 3 inch heels and the length worked well. I wish I could have kept it! The only thing is that it's really heavy and the straps aren't supportive so be careful with hangers. Highly recommend this dress!!
