The designer does not disappoint. Fits so well. No need for a bra or spanx. So many compliments on the "off the shoulder" look also.

Dress was a hit. Fit perfect. I'm 5'3 so it will be short on someone taller. It was hard to hide the bra stamps so be prepared to pin then shoulders to the straps or go without a bra. I went without a bra and it was not obvious I was bra~less. Material was thick, textured and stretchy. I got a ton of compliments.

Rented this dress for friends daughter's bat mitzvah. Loved it! It fit perfectly and was so comfortable. I used a little fashion tape to keep the top straps in place...worked like a charm. Would definitely rent again.

Was actually a backup dress but was amazing! Agree with the other reviews on the shoulders falling down but, nothing a little double sided tape couldnt fix. Great length, fit, fabric, really no complaints at all! Highly reccomend this one!

The dress was a great fit! Very comfy and perfect length for someone who is 5 foot! Received so many compliments and felt so beautiful. Only problem was the top straps kept falling down but easy enough to deal w throughout the night.

Definitely one of the fancier dresses I've rented. It was fun and easy to wear! The straps were a bit loose but overall this dress was comfortable and sexy! It was on the shorter side but not too short.

Loved this dress, felt totally glamorous. But the shoulders straps have a tendency to slide off the top of your shoulders and sit on the sides. Great dress overall!!!

The fit is more forgiving than the other Herve Leger dresses. The cut out at the shoulder is perfect.

Gorgeous dress BUT as others have noted, the sleeve/ straps do not stay put, which is very annoying. Others said they used fashion tape to fix this but I tried and it didn't help that much. Also, I had some bulges in the hip area which I just assumed was me, but when I took the dress off, I realized the bulges were caused by the inner seams ending-- seems like a bad and unflattering place for them to end. Anyway, loved the dress but had to ding it one star due to these two problems.

I wore this dress for my birthday and it made me feel special. The high waist and a-line skirt is good for hiding tummy and hips. The reviews I read were correct. The straps do not stay put. So I prepared by purchasing some fashion tape. Which I think is good to have on hand anyway. I actually taped my bra strap under the top strap and then the strap to my shoulder. I didn't have any trouble with it all night and felt great!

As always Herve dresses do not disappoint! I wore the XS which fit me well. As others noted the top shoulder straps absolutely require two sided tape to hold them in place. It’s hard to imagine them staying in place without it. It’s a high quality dress that is made with thick material.

The dress was beautiful and classy. I received many compliments. The small fit me best, but I wanted a comfier/looser fit with more room for dancing, so I decided to wear the medium. As many other reviews noted, the straps do not stay in place (the small straps did, but not the medium). I purchased some double-sided "fashion tape" from Rite-aid (you can also find at boutiques but the ones in my area were sold out) and used that to keep the dress straps in place. It worked perfectly and endured some serious dancing.

I was so excited to wear this dress, overall the fit was great, I went with the small because the straps fit better on my shoulders but the xs fit as well. It was flatterseems big around the bust but is a tight dress, the fact it's fact does hide any body imperfections . Shoulder straps were a little weird and don't really stay in place and there was bunching of loose fabric by the arm pit but I didn't mind!

My first HL! It was short for me but will probably rent another HL to try on soon.

This is a great dress. Made my chest look bigger and my waist smaller. The fit and flare styling covers problem areas well and makes your waist look tiny. The only complaint I have is that the sleeves were awkward.

Ordered this dress for a wedding but unfortunately, like some of the other reviewers mentioned, it runs small. I have a 34/36D chest and the medium was tighter than I was comfortable with around my chest (it had a not so great flattening effect). Also slightly snug around the waist. But overall a beautiful dress with thick high quality fabric that pulls you in. Probably would have worn it if I had the size up or a smaller chest.

This medium I could squeeze into (I would recco a large if its available, but this one did have more stretch than the black one with the square cut outs at the bottom (BLACK VIVIEN CAGE DRESS), that medium literally felt like an XS!). I was able to wear a bra (win!) and overall very pretty! I carry my weight in my bust and in my tummy (no butt) so I feel like I needed to suck it in a little bit for pictures, but was very comfortable for the rest of the night.

The sleeves were a little annoying, but I didn't have much issue with them. I have a larger bust and it was flattering without making me feel overly exposed. I did have a shawl as well. I feel like this can go from a fairly casual party to fairly formal as needed. Would rent again

Nice dress, very heavy and quality construction. The shoulders were a little of a challenge to keep in place. Fit was flattering and length was just right. Probably could have gone down a size but overall very comfortable to wear. Was a great dress for holiday work party.

Like all dresses of this designer, the fit runs small so perfect for petite women! This dress fit perfectly aside from the straps which lay a bit strange (perhaps broader shoulders are better). However, I would still rent again. This one is unique and fun

Beautiful dress !! It runs very small and I sadly had to return without wearing -- I know this designer is form fitting, but I would suggest sizing up for a better fit.

I’m a 34 D and the dress kind of squished my boobs. It is very flattering around the waist and worked well with my curvy figure. Still, I did not wear it because if the breast issue.

I typically wear a S in Herve and this fit well everywhere except around my arms/chest. I am a 32D so the front of the dress kind of pulled to where there was this weird gap in the underarm area. I think it would be fine on someone smaller chested. Otherwise it's a nice dress.
