Perfect fit and comfortable

It's hard to go wrong with Herve. This dress was exactly as I expected from other photos and reviews. It's snug but flattering. I do want to mention that the dress is on the longer side. I'm not super tall, but I do have long legs so I liked the length...but I would image someone on the shorter end might feel that the dress hits them at a funny length. Overall good experience. I would rent it again if I needed to.

Fits a little snug as was expected since it's a bandage dress. Did loosen a bit as the night wore on. Longer, past the knee, but form fitting and slimming and a beautiful, fun color! Tons of compliments!

Tight fit

I am quite tall and bosomy with hourglass figure and this fit like a dream. Used special commando undies so no VPL and a strapless bra as I wore more off the shoulder. Super comply and very flattering!

I. Loved. This. Dress.!!!! It definitely runs small and tight but due to the material it supposed to be that way. If you size up you can wear spanx underneath but since I didn't there was no way spanx would have fit but I felt perfectly fine without it! It definitely holds you in and i felt like it accentuated my curves in the best way although it was a little restricting! I was able to wear a regular strapless bra I just made sure to pull it down in the back and I had no problem with it showing. The length made it very classy as well. Would definitely rent an Herve again

This is an absolutely GORGEOUS Dress. I’m a twin mom & never feel glamorous. This was my 1st rental and – YES “Rent the Runway” – YOU are a brilliant concept. When the box arrived, I could hardly wait to zip into this stunning dress. I felt like Cinderella or Elizabeth Hurley from the Royals -- all night long! Complements were by the dozens. What a showstopper! Dress fits true to size (I'm a 4/6, 5'9, 135lbs). Dress is very tight -- plan your undergarments accordingly OR dare to bare. Looks perfect with OPI's Strawberry Margarita nail polish & nude pumps peep-toe pumps. Perfect for a wedding, black tie event etc. Color is vibrant -- really stands out! And I must confess it was hard to “Returning the Runway” this morning!!

I am normally a size 2 I wore the XS because the Small was not available. Hugged in all the right places. No pooch. I felt and looked great!

Amazing and snug, sexy fit and amazing color. Got complimented all evening. Fabric was soft and tight in a good way. A little tight on the lower legs when walking, but walk slow and its not an issue.

I love this dress! It was super form fitting, but so comfortable. It was perfect for the wedding I attended, and I felt like a movie star in it. Two must-haves for wearing this dress is a strapless bra and spanx,, to really give it it's full potential. I followed the style notes in the description and kept the jewelry at a minimum, renting a stack of bangles and leaving it at that. I am 5'7" and it hit just below the knee, for shorter girls I think it may be too long.

Dress was amazing. Very form fitting, not very forgiving but just enough stretch to accentuate curves!

Went to a charity event and I ordered a small and xsmall. I am 5"6 and 125lbs and the small was perfect. It's a tight dress but it's supposed to be! Can not wear a bra so I got the stick on cups

I usually wear a M but this ran small, especially because of the zipper. Great dress regardless. Invest in a backless adhesive bra!

I wouldn't recommend sizing up on this one. Once zipped it really molds to your body. Shoulder straps kept falling and your step will be slightly constricted but if you want to make a statement go for it! It's a gorgeous dress!

Loved the dress. Immediately got comments on the great color. It is a bit long - I'm 5'5". I should have used hem tape to hem it but didn't have time. I wore a strapless bra with it which worked well. As other reviewers stated, the shoulders are big and slide off a bit - and I have very broad shoulders. Wore with gold sandals which was a nice change from black.

This is your typical Herve Bandage dress. Very good quality. The back of the dress is the real show stopper (the u back is absolutely beautiful). I am a 34B with an athletic build and while the front of the dress is nice, the neckline did not do much for me (especially in photos). If I did the over the shoulder photo all night this dress photographed well but otherwise it didn't capture how amazing the dress was. It is definitely a head turner though! Tips: wear a low back bra for best shape on top and no show underwear to avoid any lines--also when you sit down the back of the dress will come down a bit so make sure you test this out at home to make sure your bra truly is low enough

As I was expecting the dress was snug! I wore a pair of spanks underneath. The bra situation was a little odd, wore a regular one, but could have used fashion take to keep the straps together with the dress seeing that the shoulders were wide and hard to keep the straps together. Aside from that I absolutely loved it and felt stunning!

Gorgeous dress: loved the thickness of the material. As the other reviews attested to, it smoothed in all the right places. I have a smaller waist, relative to my lower half, so finding something that fits both areas can be hard, but this was perfect. Also: I'm not normally a "pink person" but this color was stunning! Would definitely recommend

The dress was a medium - I am a 6/8 hour glass shape and it fit like a glove. The fabric was spectacular, I had no trouble walking in it and the back of this dress is just as great as the front. I loved everything about this dress and wore it for 2 hours around the house when it was delivered just because it was so fab :)

I had people I don't know coming over to tell me how amazing the dress was! Very tight and form fitting so this wouldn't be what I would wear if I was planning to drink heavily or eat a lot. I loved everything about this dress!

Great dress. I am a 6 and I ordered a medium. It was a little loose on top but the bottom fit so perfectly I didn't mind. Wore a Spanx thing with a little bit of tummy control. Low in the back so I needed a strapless bra. Felt like a million dollars.

Fit perfectly and was super comfortable! Hugged in all of the right places. Wearing any under garments was near impossible as dress is very tight and leaves no room. Otherwise, super easy to move around in and dance. Head turner.

This dress was sent to me as a backup and I was thrilled because I've always wanted to wear it! The medium was a bit large in the straps - I would have preferred a small, but I made it work with a sticky bra. You definitely have to have confidence to wear this dress but I loved it!

I am 5'1 32AA 100 lbs. This dress fit me to a T! This hugged all the right curves, accentuated my waist, and you can wear a low back bra. I love this dress! I would keep it if I could, it is so bombshell!

The dress fit like a glove and hits in all the right places. I am rather large at the bottom so while the M fit perfectly on top, I found the hip area to be too snug, so I opted for the L, which was a little loose on top but perfect fit at the hip area, and made me more comfortable. I wore to an art gallery opening of friends, and chose a color that I see used in his artwork quite frequently. This dress fit the bill to a T! Highly recommended!

I'm usually a 4 or small and I luckily had the medium backup. Holds you in tight. You can feel the quality of the material. Classy and glamorous. Many compliments. I love love loved it! I did not want to send this dress back. Super fun zipper detail in back allows you to actually be able to walk and dance. Comfortable to top it all off. Highly recommend.

Very form fitting but very flattering, even on these hips! Compliments all night, but be ready for attention in this dress. Very bright pink. Kind of off the shoulder - I have broad shoulders and towards the end of the night the cap sleeves tended to slip a bit. I'd rent it again in a heartbeat.

First time wearing Herve! This dress is without a doubt the most amazing dress I've ever worn! If I could wear it every day for the rest of my life, I would. I rented it for Key to the Cure at Saks Fifth Avenue and got so many compliments. I would definitely order it again! (The only reason I say it runs small is because it's a bandage dress and it takes some work to get into. Once it's on, you'll be ready for the runway!)

Hot! Want all eyes on you?! This dress definitely does that. It is very tight so you need to have confidence to wear it but the material is like spanx and keeps you sucked in and smooths you out in all the right places. It's also very comfortable. It does run small. I am a size 0 and ordered the XS. While I wore the XS comfortably, I would have liked a S to compare because it pulled tight in a few places. The length was also perfect on me. I'm 5'8" and wore 5" heels that night. I definitely got a lot of compliments on this dress. I wish I owned it. I'll definitely be wearing Herve again.
