Herve knows how to make a dress fit like a glove! I describe his fabric like 'butter' - it smooths the body and hugs tight, but is so comfortable. I had read others say they thought this ran small, and my size is typically an XS or S, so I had hoped to order a S and a M. Both S and M were out, so I took my chances on the XS and it fit perfect. I was a little concerned the strapless side would pull too low with movement but it stayed in place all night without any issues. The side zipper puckered just a little bit. This didn't bother me, just sharing everything I can think of to help you! The length was just above my knee - so it was appropriate (not too short). I wore this to an Art Ball and it was perfect! The color is vibrant! I wore diamond/sparkly accents, but this dress is the main event so you don't need too much else! I also wore 'Betsey Johnson Blue' - "Ella" silver sparkly heels. They went great with it!

Love the colors and bold pattern! Wore this in Vegas for my birthday party. I normally wear an XS but this was a tight squeeze. I'd rent again because I love the design, but probably go with a small.

I'm quite tall, so I was worried about the length. Not too worry -- it was on the shorter side but also totally reasonable. I wore this to a big birthday party and got so many compliments. People were blown away by how fun the colors were. I think the dress is a great combination of sexy and fun. I would 100% recommend it. The colors are bright, though, so make sure you're aware of that going in!

So it was kind of a bitch to get on, (I apologize to the next person who wears it bc a chunk of my skin might be in the zipper still) but once it was on I've never worn such a comfortable dress. I didn't have to think about it all night

Although it's very tight to get into, once it's on it's extremely comfortable and fits like a glove! Extremely flattering! Was able to dance all night and received a TON of compliments! I would say it's true to size.

It fits like a glove! You think it is going to be uncomfortable and you will be "sucking it in" the whole night but it is so well made that it holds your shape beautifully and moves so well with your body. It was extremely comfortable and could be worn for hours!

Only the XS was available and all the wishing and squeezing in the world did not make it workout for me, unfortunately! I could have pulled off a S, but not an XS. I will certainly rent again, but lots farther in advance!

The fit is tight, as is customary with the brand. But it feels very comfortable. The quality was superb. The colors were very vibrant! This is the perfect Vegas dress!

It's a tight fit as always with the Herve leger dresses. A regular strapless bra worked well and I put a little tape on the non strap side so the bra would show when I moved. Definitely look to rent this again. Only 'con' is random strangers may shout out 'I love that dress', so this isn't the dress for you if you want to be a wallflower :-)

Yes, you'll have to squeeze yourself into it. But once you're all zipped up you can dance the night away with curves in just the right places. You can't go wrong with Leger.

Prepare for the compliments from men and women both! This dress makes you stand out in a sea of black. The fit is tight, so tight that I didn't wear a bra (did have nip covers though) and minimal undies. No Spanx needed and the dress is fairly short (upper thigh). Like others, the zipper bunched a bit on the hip, but wan't really an issue. I wore a black short sweater because I was at a business black-tie optional event and burgundy colored pumps that matched the main color. Great dress! Will definitely rent it again. Absolutely gorgeous!

I wore this to a convention event in South Beach. The style was "South Beach chic" and this dress is the epitome of South Beach. The zipper does bulge out a bit but otherwise it was a very comfortable fit. I went with a pinkish nude lipstick and smoky eyes which seemed to really accentuate the sexiness of the dress. I was surprised at how comfortable I felt wearing this dress as I usually do not wear short, tight dresses.

This dress was awesome! It fit great and the color was bold! You definitely get noticed in this dress! It's very form fitting, yet still comfortable. I definitely recommend wearing spanx!

Loved this dress! The color was fantastic! I rented it for our rehearsal dinner for our wedding, and it was a smash hit! The only not so great comment I would have is about the fit…the right side of the dress was somewhat loose and it bunched up a little bit, but it wasn't that bad.

This was my first time wearing a dress by this designer so I was not sure what to expect, but this dress killed it. I may have needed a buddy to help me get into the dress, but once I was all zipped up the dress held everything in! I was shocked at how slimming the dress ended up being, and the color is really fabulous. As far as the fit goes, the dress is supposed to be tight, so take the "runs small" review with a grain of salt. I did not try the large on but I suspect that it would have fit me as well since the dress is such a tight style. The only thing that was annoying was that the top of the dress on the strapless side was a little low, so sometimes the top of my strapless bra would show. Other than that, loved everything about this dress!

Had the S been available, I would have ordered/worn it, but I was only able to rent an XS and M. I would usually go down a size- not up- but the XS was tiny! Without trying on my true size, I'd say that it runs small because I'd usually not be able to wear a M, but it was fine (just slightly roomy in the top if I'm being picky). In the future, I'd order Herve Leger dresses in an S and an M. Not only did I stand out in photos and receive complements all night, but my photos on social media received rave reviews about the dress!

I rented this for a christmas party. I wore the size medium and am typically a 6 or an 8. I think it ran very true to size but i noticed as soon as i took it out of the bag to wear it, it kind of puckered up at the chest. B/c i have a chest it was fine b/c i filled it out- but it's definitely a little stretched out (particularly in the chest area). I felt great all night and got lots of compliments on the dress. If i had somewhere fun and festive to go again and wanted a 'hot little dress' i would definitely rent this one again! The color is really great in person and so flattering with the lines/design.

Snug to put on, but once you get it there - pow! Thick banded fabric gets everything in the right places and keeps it there. This was the first RTR dress my husband asked if I could buy. I will definitely be renting this one again!

I wore this to a really good friend's wedding and I was showered with so many compliments. And not just you look good, but WHOA! YOU LOOK HOT! It was pretty amazing. I felt great and the dress fit so perfectly. I've always wanted to rent one of these dresses and never had the nerve... but I'm so glad that I did it. I'm not a fancy, girly girl so it was a shocker for a lot of people. I wore easy wedge heels so I didn't fall down and it still worked. I have a big chest & shoulders because of weightlifting, so I never wear dresses without any give... so this was a good fit as it just stretched around everything. I wore a strapless bra and pinned it to the side of the dress without the strap so that it wouldn't show. There were a few photos of me where it looked a little low on the strapless side and I felt I was showing too much side skin, but everyone told me it looked fine. Really, this was such a fun thing to wear, I can't wait to do it again!

This was my first rental and I'm completely obsessed! This dress fit amazingly and was a perfect pop of color at my brothers fall wedding. I got SO many compliments and even saw it posted on a celebrity fashion blog a few days later! Don't pass it up!

This dress is absolutely gorgeous!! I was able to squeeze myself into the XS, but I definitely would've been more comfortable in the S. What this dress did for my waist was unbelievable! It was the perfect length for me too since I'm so short. I loved the one shoulder and the design is even prettier in person. No bra needed! I felt like a million bucks! I can't wait to rent another Herve Leger dress! They feel like butter!

I didn't plan to order this, it was a replacement for a Clover Canyon dress that they weren't able to send. I wasn't excited about it because a) I don't like 1 shoulder dresses and b) I thought the red would look too "Christmas-y". WRONG! This was my favorite RTR to date - I didn't have to wear a bra, it didn't ride up or down or have the usual too long of straps problems that Herve's tend to, and most importantly I felt like a million bucks at my birthday bash! It is a GREAT alternative to a black or white dress and will definitely be an attention getter! SO thrilled my original dress fell through.

Great color and lines. Agree with the comments about the zipper bulge on the right side but I got over it. Shorter than I prefer and not as flattering for smaller chest, IMHO. Wearing a Herve Leger dress was on my bucket list but I didn't realize how popular it would be/how early I could've reserved it. So I ended up with an XS. Probably needed a small but then not sure if it would've been too loose at the bust.

The dress is very heavy and form fitting and sucks everything in. I ordered a M but I'm only 5'2 so it was a little low on the non-strap side and I had to keep pulling it up to cover my strapless bra. There was also a little bit of bunching on the zipper side of the dress, I think also because I don't have a long torso. But I received SO many compliments on this dress and I would totally wear it again. If I can lose a few lbs and get into a S it would probably be a better fit for my height :)

Pros: Great for tiny girls with no clevage...size 0 size 2 this is YOUR dress! Great color! Great length! One shoulder cute look, necklace is not needed with this at all! Cons: VERY tight dress, need help with zipper, really hugs you! I wouldn't suggest sitting for a 3 course meal in this dress! Must be worn with heels for full effect, great for a smaller girl, shows off your legs!

It fit like a glove. Sucked me in at all the right spots. I wanted a wear a bra because it flattened my tiny bosom right out. I couldn't make it work with one although I guess if you are good with tape you could do something about that. Previous reviewers mentioned that the zipper buckled and it does. You can see it in the photo on the right hand side of the dress near my waist/hip area. But as the night wore on I ceased to care as everyone said I looked fantastic and u felt truly wonderful! Def try this dress on on the store as I did. I never would have picked it online (even though my daughter picked it out for me, and she turned out to be right) but my friend and the stylist talked me into it and I am so glad they did.

It was an amazing fit, the only reason it did not get 5 stars was that at the zipper it bulged. So in pictures i always had to have my hand on my hip to keep it down or my hips looked uneven. Other than that the dress fit wonderfully and was beautiful.

The dress fit well and had some stretch to it. The panels were very flattering. I have bigger boobs for my size so there was a sense that one might pop out but it never came close. Any larger chest might have a tough time though. The dress was short but for a Miami birthday party, it seemed just right.
