The color is stunning in person! Photos really don't do this dress justice! The sleeves didn't quite fit me, little loose, but the rest of the dress was snug in a good way!

No bras needed. I usually wear xs but this was super comfortable and embraced my curves nicely. Not too tight you can't breathe but at the same time tight enough to keep everything in place. Loved it

This fit like a glove. I wore it for a dressy bridal shower and then again for a fundraiser for a senator in Beverly Hills. The blue is very rich and a little deeper than it appeared in the RTR picture. Received tons of compliments and felt gorgeous :)

My favorite dress I've ever worn. And that's saying a lot because I've worn hundreds. Honestly I was worried about the size because you never know with something that runs S, M, or L but I read reviews of women who seemed to have similar body types to mine and the Medium was the perfect fit for me. I'm thin but I have an athletic body with a broad back, which helped me bc the straps were kindof hard to stay up. If you're smaller up top I would recommend using fashion tape to keep the shoulders in place. The color was absolutely stunning in person and pictures don't do it justice. I was getting asked all night where I got my dress and if people could borrow it from me. I'm very sad to have to return it! My experience with RTR keeps getting better. Going to be hard to top this one!

I was expecting this dress to be right and uncomfortable, but it ended up being so soft and easy to move in! Very stretchy material and a stunning color. I do NOT recommend wearing any undergarments besides a strapless bra in this. I'll be very sad to send this one back!

Sung fit dress I am in between a 2-6 I know strange. Mostly due to my hips being so big but my waist so small with this a sz small was perfect because you definitely want this dress to be sung ! I vote RENT RENT RENT this ! Unless you are an 8 or above I'd go for a small.

I typically always am very true to size when wearing Hervé as I wear a Medium. This dress is absolutely stunning! The color is bright and vibrant and I felt beautiful wearing it! I received so many compliments all through the night and many more on social media. I would most definitely rent this dress again! My boyfriend loved it and thought I looked so classy and sexy! I loved this dress and so did everyone else! My only minor issue was that the cap,sleeves sat in a place on my shoulders that didn't quite work, as they were falling down often. Note: I do have small shoulders. Regardless, I would have kept this dress if I could have!

I originally rented another Herve, but it became unavailable due to certain circumstances. The woman I spoke with worked with me fabulously and got me this dress SUPER fast with ease and I am SO HAPPY she did. The color online doesn't even do it justice. The cobalt blue shade is simply stunning in person and really stood out in the crowd. The fit is super sexy!!!!! It hugged my body in all the right places and made me feel like a million bucks. I was getting compliments on the dress all night long. I normally wear a size 6 dress and the M was perfection. Hands down, my FAVORITE rental thus far. I didn't want to send it back!!! Rent this dress. You will NOT be disappointed, ladies. :)

Great, great dress. A lovely, regal shade of blue and sexy, snug fit. Wore with a strapless bra and the dress helped to give a nice extra lift. Length was appropriate for a wedding, and I had no issues with the straps moving at all - stayed put without fashion tape or any additional support. Danced all night long comfortably and felt fabulous.

The dress was absolutely amazing in every way! The craftsmanship, the quality and dear lord the color! I ordered the small and medium based on other reviews. The small was much too tight for my liking. The medium fit my body perfectly however the top and shoulders seemed a bit stretched out, nothing a bra and some fashion tape couldn't fix. I wore this dress to a Gala event and felt classy and sexy. I paired it with gold filagree earrings, red lipstick and of course Louboutins! #classy #sexy #over40 #gala

There was a small error with my order so I was able to pick a dress that RTR overnighted to me for my event. They ended up sending me this one and another so I wore one to the ceremony and one to the reception. RTR went above and beyond in my opinion. I loved this dress. It was sexy! I had no problems with the straps like others mentioned. Very happy with my first rental.

This dress color is absolutely gorgeous in person. The cut is so flattering and I loved that the neckline shows "just enough" without going overboard. I had no issue with the sleeves falling down as others mentioned. The hemline is a good length and didn't feel like a mini as some Herve's can. Absolutely my favorite rental yet!

Runs true to size but sucks you in - in the most perfect way. This dress is a show stopper. I was sad to return this beauty.

The fit was excellent and I had no problem with the straps being loose in the size small. Being that I am tall, I was worried about the length of the dress but it was perfect, with the hem reaching just above my knees. It hugged me in all the right places and I received many compliments on it throughout the night.

i loved this dress! tight in all the right places without being over the top. As mentioned in other reviews the sleeves did occasionally slide down but i fixed that with fashion tape and it wasn't a problem. I did wear a bra with the dress - again fashion tape helped hide the straps. The material is thick and slightly stretchy - make sure you have the right underwear...panty lines show very easily!!! All in all this was a great dress for a more formal wedding. Sexy without being too short or too revealing. Thank you RTR!

It is really heavy and was very HOT for a July wedding. Perfect for Spring/Fall. I agree the cap sleeves tend to fall down, but it keeps you in your best posture all night.

I rented this dress for my 20 year class reunion. It fit perfectly. I ordered the small and medium as a back up. I took a look at the small and didn't even bother to try it on. It looked tiny, so I ended up wearing the medium, which was perfect. The sleeves do tend to fall so I used fashion tape to keep them in place.

This dress is incredibly tight. I normally wear a dress size 4 and I couldn't even zip up the S. The M was tight but not in an uncomfortable way. I got tons of compliments. It's easy to dress up or dress down for any occasion.

This color looked amazing on my friend. I had this as a backup dress. It looked alright on me, but the color popped on her. It's stunning in person.

Wow, I loved this dress! I was originally going to rent another Herve (that cost a lot less) but RTR let me know it was damaged and they let me pick any other dress with no upcharge, which was great. I'm 5'3" 32DDD bust, size 6 top/size 8 bottom. It is very form fitting - I am not sure I could have worn any sort of Spanx or shapewear underneath, I would recommend a g-string underneath so that nothing shows. I didn't wear a bra either because the dress was tight enough to hold me in. I did use fashion tape to keep the shoulders from slipping and would definitely recommend doing that to keep it all in place. Definitely an attention-getter!

I rented this Herve Leger as my backup dress for a girlfriend's wedding and ended up wearing it! Beautiful blue color, really turns out great in pictures. Since this is a lighter dress, I would recommend Spanx that are high waisted. I couldn't find my high waisted Spanx and regretted it because in some of the picturers, you could see where the waistline of the Spanx stops. I wore sticky boobs. The strappy were a little big and I had to keep pulling them up on the dancefloor, but it was fine. The dress was riding up when I walked a bit too. I paired with the Queen Ann Chrystal earrlngs, and the gold cuff. Wore 3" gold strappy sandals because the wedding was outside. I would rent this dress again with the proper undergarments.

Talk about diva! The dress was sexy, stunning, and show-stopping. It fit like a glove, holding every curve in perfect place. The royal blue color (they call it teal) was rich, brilliant, and beautiful on camera. The dress was surprisingly comfortable, and I was even able to eat dinner. I paired it with an equally stunning pair of Oscar de la Renta "Ocean Pave Bouquet" earrings from RTR. The only complaint, as others mentioned, was that the cap sleeved kept falling. I had so much fun & felt like a star- thank you, RTR!

This was my first time wearing Herve Leger, and it lived up to its reputation! I actually had ordered a different Herve, but it was damaged so they sent me this instead. When I first saw it online I didn't like the sleeves, but once I had it in person and put it on it looked great. The color was beautiful and it fit like a glove - it holds you in but isn't uncomfortable. The sleeves could be pushed up or worn further down, both ways looked good. I wore this to our company awards party and it really stood out in the sea of black, I got lots of compliments. I wore it with a Lilly Pulitzer gold clutch, gold jewelry, and gold ankle strap shoes. Was worried it would be too much gold but it went perfectly with the color of the dress. Will definitely be renting Herve again!

Fit's true to size and hugs all the right curves. High waist band is also very flattering. I received tons of compliments on the vibrant color. Only negative comment I would have is that the straps were slightly stretched out and therefore ill fitting. Had to pull them up several times throughout the night. Despite that, I would still highly recommend this dress for a special occasion.

Great color! The small was a little looser than the xs - I rented both. I wish I would have worn the xs (I wore the small) now though. As the night went on the small "grew" and the cap sleeves kept slipping down. Loved the dress though!

My favorite part of the dress are the sleeves, I feel they add a different twist to the normal Herve type dress. Really loved wearing this, and felt really great in it as well!

Terrific dress. Fabulous color and sucked me in in all the right places. I'd highly recommend this dress, not to mention Rent the Runway. I couldn't ask for better customer service. I paired this with tan Ferragamo peep toe shoes, a bunch of bangles and a pair of David Yurman turquoise earrings.

As all of the other reviews said the sleeves are a bit uncomfortable if you do not have wide shoulders they will slip down a little. I had to adjust the dress throughout the evening, however I did not mind because the rest of the rest made up for it. The color is stunning and the fit was like a glove. I wore bronze t-strap heels and had my nails painted a cherry red which all pulled together nicely. I am 5'9 (with long legs) and the dress sat just above my knee. It is a different shade of cobalt in the different light you go into.

The dress is beautiful. I'm a larger shade of girl and it smoothed me out beautifully I would still however recommend some spanx to look perfect. The sleeves kept falling down, I didn't usually notice since they don't bother but other people did notice. Beautiful in person, beautiful in pictures. I felt like the most beautiful in the room in a room full of beautiful people. Overall, get the dress. Oh and customer service for RTR is MORE then amazing. Thanks for your help!
