This dress is super heavy fabric that really sucks you in!!!!

This was my first RTR rental and this dress was actually my backup. When my first choice dress was returned damaged ny the prior renter, I prayed this one would work and was a little nervous with the size M as I am a petite 5'3" and 120 lbs. The dress fit perfectly and was so fun to wear! The fabric was heavier and sort of bounces when you walk. I got complimets all night long!

This dress felt amazing. It was so comfortable and sexy at the same time. The material, as always, keeps everything in place and flatters my body type. Definitely recommend!

I wore this dress for my engagement shoot on the Brooklyn Bridge. The dress and fit made me feel amazing. This is the first time I've tried Herve Leger and it won't be the last. Classic color and the scalloped design was beautiful.

No complaints for this dress. The dress was comfortable and fit like a glove. It squeezed me in all the right places and I received compliment after compliment all night long. I am tall and the length was perfect, which is sometimes hard to find. I will order this over and over again! :)

I typically stay away from wearing LBD's. I know, I know, sounds crazy! Anyhow, this Herve has changed my mind. I loved it, and the Herve material gives it that little extra oomf that makes this LBD stand out. I wore it to my sis in law's wedding where I was a reader at the ceremony. It's got the typical fit of an Herve--hits you in all the right places and is snug where you almost feel like a sausage in a casing but ya look like a zillion bucks. It's just beyond flattering. I carry some extra padding and lumps in the love handle area, and this dress is VERY flattering for that kind of an issue. It cinches it all in. It's also comfortable. Although it does take some patience to get the zipper up by yourself. The scalloped neckline also made this look a great combo of sophisticated but also a little girly. It's a steep rental price, but worth it.

Simple dress, but the fabric, fit and details make it stand out. I felt like a million bucks in it!!! I would even rent again!

Lots of room in the flared skirt for hips. Fitted through the top but does have a lot of give--I'm really a DD and did just fine in it. The scallop detailing on this dress is really fun and keeps it from seeming like a boring black dress!

Initially, I was a bit concerned that I could shove myself into this 'bandage' dress, but the other reviews assured me that it was worth the effort. The zipper and fabric are made well to endure the struggle as the dress acts as self-contained Spanx. The smoothing and curve-hugging effect was flattering. The dress is shorter in the back, so I wore black bike shorts underneath so that I didn't have to worry about bum exposure.

Loved that o could wear a racer back bra. Perfect going out and party dress for a gal like me in her 30 somethings. So fun !

I had the dress sent to the RTR Manhattan store. The medium wasn't available so I only had the small. When I first tried it on I thought it was too small to wear, but the stylist convinced me that it is meant to be worn super form fitting. She recommended wearing spanx with it and once I put them on it smoothed everything out nicely. My first Herve dress, but won't be my last.

Wore this to my MBA Program's winter formal. I loved the fit and feel of this dress. The thick Herve Leger fabric has a slimming effect but the fit and flare shape makes the dress super comfortable and easy to wear.

Always wanted to rent the designer. Luckily, my original rental was damaged and rent the runway gave me any dress available to rent. Chose this one and it fit amazing! Although a bandage dress, you can have some imperfections on the tummy to get by with this dress! Covers it well! And I have a 34dd and it fit my body well.

I was sent this dress last minute when the one I ordered was not available to ship. I had always wanted to try it! It does suck you in, although it is not a complete miracle dress - I guess a dress can only do so much! It was very cute, however, and I received lots and lots of compliments!

I ordered a different Herve Leger dress and received a message from RTR a few days before it was set to arrive stating it was damaged beyond repair (someone must have had a wild night! :). The RTR team was AMAZING and allowed me to pick any two other dresses and two sizes to be sent ASAP. Well when all of those dresses arrived they were all too small! I called RTR back in a panic and they said not to worry then sent me another dress of my choice. This dress! It was perfect for the occasion. Actually more appropriate than any of the original dresses. It was a little heavy but that would be my only complaint (and I am not really complaining). Now I know when ordering Herve Leger ...... size up!

I am pretty sure I was wearing the right size, but it was tight in the hips and loose in the boobs (and I'm fairly well-endowed)... that's always a good feeling, lol. But all in all no one noticed, and it still looked great.

Great Herve dress, even without it being bandage. It's thick material like other herves, but has a flare skirt that is very flattering. I found the medium to run a little large. Otherwise, fantastic dress!

This is a gorgeous dress, the detailing of the scalloped layers is so eye catching. It's super heavy, so it swings a bit when you walk. I was at an outdoor party in about 80 degree weather and I was completely comfortable despite how heavy the material is. I got compliments galore and I will definitely wear a few more times before I return (rented this on Unlimited). I am 5'7" 35/26/37 and this was neither too short or too clingy. If I wanted it to be more "going out sexy", I may have chosen to go with the size S.

I didn't get to wear this but it was SOOOO beautiful. I got it as one of my Unlimited items. I was going to keep it and wait to be able to wear it but since I now know how it fits I just figured I could rent it again. It fits like your typical HL dress (very snug) I did think it was a bit small on top, I am however a 34DD so it just could be me. Its a dress that can be worn anywhere because it is a basic cut, but is ANYTHING BUT BASIC!!

Everything stays in place all night - no gapping, pulling, adjusting, etc. The fit is amazing and the dress holds everything in the right places. Hugs body comfortably and shows off curves beautifully. Not too low cut so it's perfect for a wedding, charity event, or corporate function. The flare of the skirt make the dress really fun and breathable.

I loved this dress! It was sexy and classy. The length was okay for daytime and fit like a dream. I am a natural 36 H and there was enough support to go bra-less. I love Herve

This dress came as a replacement for another dress that was unavailable. It was amazing! It was very comfortable and the perfect length. I am 5'5" and wear a size 8. The large fit perfect, not sure if the medium would have fit. Highly recommend this dress!

The scallop is very flattering! It was the perfect length and was very slimming. Loved it!! Can't go wrong here.

Fit and flare. Fit tight through bust, which was perfect for me as I am small up top, but may be a tad tight for others.

Classic little black dress!

Loved this simple, perfect dress -- it is unusually sweet and feminine for a Herve and so, so pretty -- but it is very tight at the waist (cinched in a way that made my hip bones stick out; look carefully at the model photo to decide if this will fit your waist well) and the bottom skirt is flattering and fresh, but a bit heavy. Although I adored this dress and felt it worked even for someone my age (48) I have a slender, boyish figure; I think this dress might look better on someone with a little more curve and a more pronounced waist to get the right top-bottom balance.

The fit of this dress is awesome. It's playful, the material is heavy and hugs all the right places. I loved the scalloped and flared skirt! A def. must for a black dress.

I ended up receiving this dress when an alternate dress from the same designer was unavailable at the last minute. I absolutely loved it and wish I could have kept it! The slight A-line skirt was flattering and the scalloped edges added a little extra interest to the dress. Herve Leger dresses are always skin tight (they kind of act like a full body Spanx) so size up. The XS wouldn't fit over my hips (size 25 waist, 35 inch hips). The small was snug in the right way. I felt like a million bucks!

I usually wear a size 6 or 8 because of my chest, but i could barely get the medium over my hips and zipping it was a joke! Really cute dress, shows off the curves! I didn't obviously end up wearing the dress, but would try again in a larger size!

This dress was sent to me as a replacement for the dress I actually ordered. Besides being extremely heavy, not necessarily because of the material itself but more so because of how much material there was, it was optimistic. The dress is a beautiful scalloped bandage dress and looked great BUT i couldn't zip it! I am petite but not teeny. Maybe if i had on a pair of spanx. Oh well. Beautiful but SIZE UP!!

I didn't get to wear this . I've worn xs and small in Herve Leger before but couldn't even zip this one.
