The fit was true to size, fit like a glove. The long sleeve was perfect for October weather. The sales associate Brooke from the NY store was extremely helpful and I couldn't be more thankful! I wore this to a wedding and I wish I didn't have to return it, thank you RTR, I highly recommend, and will be renting again soon! xo

This dress was absolutely perfect. I wore it for a rehearsal dinner and it really stole the show - the fit was just right, the sleeves the perfect length and tightness for me, and the neckline showed just enough skin to not become vulgar at a wedding. I received so many compliments and am actually tempted to rent this again next month!

Great dress perfect for wedding

The dress fit perfectly, it had a very low neckline, but I was able to wear a normal bra with it. Very flattering, perfect length for tall girls. Very happy with my choice!

The dress arrived clean, fresh and lovely.

Fit is everything Herve should be. The color is a gorgeous midnight/navy blue, really doesn't look black as it does in the picture. However, to me this was a plus. Love that it has sleeves, and the low cut front keeps it from looking covered up. If you are busty like I am, this dress is best kept for racier occasions (I was in Vegas) because it definitely shows off cleavage, no way around that. Photo is a little blurry, but the best I have. Nude pumps are perfect with the color, as is rose-gold if you're looking to accessorize. :)

This is a "wow" dress. My husband was in love. It runs super small. I am 5'5", 105lbs and have a 23" waist. Normally an XS is my size, but my husband had trouble zipping up the small! But, once it was on, it was perfect. And I could breathe just fine. :)

This dress is GORGEOUS-weighs a ton-color & fabric is amazing. It definitely runs small, I usually wear a small or a 4-I squeezed into the Medium (got a large for backup & although it fit my butt, it was big in my underarms) I have no boobs so the top fit perfect, if you have boobs, you will pour out of it (it'd look great just saying). Can't wait to rent another Herve!

Loved this dress, like all Herve Leger, they run tight and small, but they really hide a lot of issues! I got compliments on how beautiful I looked all night from men and women, hey even a 30 year old guy there told me I looked beautiful, so a great dress makes the night. Would absolutely rent this again!

I wore this to a bachelorette party. I liked the tight fit however the shoulders were really large compared to the rest of the dress. It made the front of the dress keep falling down and I had to pull it up the entire night which made it uncomfortable and got annoying after a while. Maybe it would work well for a large chested person because it would pull down on the shoulders in the right place.

This dress is a show stopper! The only reason I gave it 4 stars as opposed to 5 was because the fit was so small. Listen to the other reviews - it runs VERY small. I am a solid Medium in everything Herve - no matter if it's new or been worn before and thankfully had ordered the large in this dress after reading the reviews. I put the medium on and could not get it zipped up so I had to move to the large which fit like a glove. Due to the increase in size, the arms were a little long and there was a bit of room in the sleeves but it still looked gorgeous. I didn't find the V neck to be too revealing - just the right hint of sexy. This dress was a fantastic choice and I felt amazing in it.

Top of dress is huge. Like the shoulder area was made for a man while the rest of the dress is very slim fitted and contours to body. Requires Hollywood tape for sure. Received a lot of compliments on this dress and it was fun to wear.

Loved this dress on! The color is a rich navy blue with great side pattern that really flattered the mid section. Unfortunately the dress arrived with a damaged seem so they had to keep it at the RTR Vegas store. I will rent again when I have the chance.

This dress looks incredible on. It's a bit tight on the bust, I needed help zipping it. Fashion tape is a must to been bust from spilling out. I will rent again!!!

The fabric is on the heavy side and it acts like a dress and undergarment all in one. Not for the timid. It gave the illusion of a fuller bust and narrow waist than I actually have. Color/cut are gorgeous. I was on the line of needing the next size up -- if I were going to eat a big meal, I'd select large.

I actually didn't get to wear this dress but I did try it on and it was everything I hoped it would be. The blue color was beautiful and this dress made my body look perfect and my boobs were awesome. It's really elegant so you definitely need somewhere classy to wear this. I'm going to rent it again for my next date or event and definitely wear it. Hopefully it hasn't been rented too much by then!

Fabulous dress, came with tags still on. Wore for an evening out in New York .complimented everywhere we went by men and women. Dress definitely runs small and not for anyone self conscious about there body. I went up to the medium and needed to roll the sleeves under as they were too long otherwise it was perfect.

I've rented a couple Herve leger before, this one is the best so far. It is very sophisticated while being sexy at the same time

This dress was so amazing! I did not want to send it back! It was pretty low-cut, but still not too revealing if you have a smaller bust. The color is a GORGEOUS navy! I will probably rent this again because I felt great in it!

Have rented another Leger dress that fit perfectly. The fit on this (a size S) was a little odd. Although I don't have short arms (in fact, I have somewhat long arms), the sleeves were far longer than they are on the model here, stretching halfway down my hands, and it was pretty long for me, reaching almost below the knee. And although a small typically fits in other dresses, the waist on this was extremely tight, making it extremely difficult to zip (the hips were fine). As noted elsewhere, the shoulders were weirdly roomy, and even with fashion tape, the top bagged a bit in the back. I suspect that if the waist weren't so difficult to zip, an XS would have worked better. On the other hand, people complimented me all night.

I rented the Small based on other reviews (some saying it ran small and some saying that it was true-to-size) and because the Medium was not available even if the dress ran large. I found that the dress did indeed run true-to-size and had zero issues zipping up the dress (I didn't have to pull or suck anything in). The odd part about the dress is that the entire chest area was HUGE. I am a 32D and the chest area was SO wide that it barely covered any part of my chest and the dress wanted to just fall off of my shoulders. The dress didn't seem "worn" or stretched out but evidently was or I'm just narrow. No amount of fashion tape or pinning was going to help my situation and I wanted to look classy and no trashy so I called customer service. They were so helpful with wanting to send me a replacement, but my other 3 picks were already rented. I opted for a credit towards another dress at another time. The dress is gorgeous but the neckline is very wide if you have a small and narrow frame; I couldn't even take an "appropriate" photo of the dress on.

Awesome dress, and hugs right above the hips to make you look super tiny. My date loved it and kept asking me when the next event was that I could wear it to! I unfortunately chose to wear a bra, and had to keep adjusting so it wouldn't come out.. but the bra totally isn't necessary, so don't worry about it too much!

I wore this dress for NYE. The color and cut of the dress is great - I think the sleeves are my favorite part. But the shoulders were fairly big for me. The loose shoulders left the upper back kind of gappy. I would have worn the size S, except for the shoulder issue. I ended up making the XS work, but it was a stretch... Pun intended ;)

I'd rent this again in a minute! I wore the large because I had some, ahem, holiday pounds to deal with and it was a roomy in the shoulders. But I could have worn the medium and been fine. Don't be afraid to size down!

Dress fit well except in my shoulder area, it was too large. the neckline is odd, sort of a diamond shape and the cut is pretty low too. I imagine it could look great on someone with a larger frame in upper body.

Gorgeous beautiful dress. I had just lost a lot of weight and thought I could pull this off. Great dress for a woman size 4 and below. If you are narrow and trying to look curvy try this dress. The fabric is beautiful. I hope to rent it again in the Large so I can actually leave the house in it. Go for it Tiny girls.

I am always a Small in this designer and would have needed a Medium if it was available. I could barely get it on. Otherwise, it was very cute!

I really wish that this dress fit me, but, it was too big in the chest and the arms.

This is the 3rd time I rent a Herve Leger dress. Last two dresses were both great. They are comfortable and hug my curves perfectly. This one didn't work our very well... Previously I got both size small and medium. Both fit but I went with he medium because the zipper is flatter. This time because I have lost some weight I got only the small. The waist is very small but the the shoulder and the sleeves are very loose. The neckline is very low and combined with the tight waist and loose shoulder they just don't sit right. Maybe if I have bigger bust it will be ok. Luckily I got this dress as a backup and the original choice worked out well. I will still rent from Herve Leger. They are no doubt high quality and unique and sexy and elegant. But based on this experience I think I will avoid sleeves. And I will say size up maybe better.

Not sure if I just didn't pay attention or what but this dress is navy... It was my backup so it didn't matter because my first choice worked out great! Overall great classic Herve.. very tight and the v was very deep on me!

I rented a small and medium just in case. The small was way too tight and the medium was huge. Probably not the designer for me. I am 5'1" and I think Herve is just better for taller girls

I am an avid Herve Leger fan and rarely come across a design/style that I don't want to live in. This dress is a beautiful dark navy with a zipper along the back. The dress fit my waist/shoulders and everywhere except my chest. I am a 32/34 D and the area of this dress for your chest is cut for a AA/A cup and the seams ran right over the top of my chest.

Bottom part of the dress fit great, something on the top was completely wrong. It was super loose and I was essentially falling out of it. This was just not the typical herve.

I was so disappointed when this dress arrived. It was gorgeous; however, it has absolutely no stretch in the mid-section and it would not zip up. I've worn multiple Herve Leger dresses before, so I know I am an XS (i'm also a 00 and very thin); however, this dress was made for someone with no waist and missing ribs. It was terrible. The top and bottom parts looked like they'd fit fine, but the mid-section... ridiculous.

I wish I could have worn the dress. It is pretty. The chest and hips fit great. But the waist was too tight. I ordered a small. A medium would have been too big in the bust and hips. My measurements are 35/27/35. You need an hourglass figure.
