Great dress with a very flattering fit and color scheme since the darker colors are in the midsection. Comfortable enough for sitting, eating, and dancing yet kind of has a nice corset effect with the form-fitting material. Great for my brother's Miami beach wedding. Prepare yourself for a showering of compliments when you wear this dress!!

Love love love this dress! I assumed I would be either a small or an extra small and only a small was available to rent but I decided to go for it, and I am so glad I did. I think the xs would have been more flattering in some places but maybe uncomfortable in others. I received so many compliments in this dress and it was amazingly comfortable to dance in all night! I cannot wait to rent another Herve dress for my next event! The pink dress in this picture is also a Herve Ledger dress rented from Rent the Runway =).

This dress hugs perfectly and makes any woman gorgeous! It did have a slight tear but you couldn't see it. This was my first RTR experience and I'm so happy! I'm thrilled I paid for the Pro upgrade. I'm done shopping, only RTR for me!

it's a serious shame that this dress is no longer available; it was my all-time favorite rental from rtr and the only one i've tried to reserve repeatedly. even though the medium i wore was slightly too loose in the waist, the gorgeous color and flattering fit made this dress a magnet for compliments. and like most other hervés i've rented, it had the added benefit of not necessitating a bra.

Loved this dress, though I was definitely in excellent shape when I wore it, and might not choose it now that I haven't been working out regularly. The dress is VERY form-fitting and wouldn't accommodate any kind of Spanx underneath (you could see the outline of it underneath the dress fabric). I got a lot of compliments, and would definitely choose a Herve Leger piece again.

This Dress was perfect for a friends wedding. I wore a small and it fit tight but not too tight, it's suppose to be fitted. I also wore spanx but did not need them. The dress added curves in all the right places. The picture does not give the true colors of the dress they are much more vibrant in person! I got plenty of compliments all night long. I would rent this dress again.

This dress hugged my curves in all the right places and I got tons of compliments. Because I'm on the shorter side it was a little long but I still felt great in it. My other friends also rented the runway and loved they're looks pictured here as we'll. although it was on the pricier side it was well worth it. By far my favorite rent the runway rental to date

Loved the color in a sea of women in black. The fit was a little small. Ended up renting the Sm and Med and chose the Med to wear so i could breathe. No bra needed due to the structure of the dress but could easily wear one if you desire.

Love love love this dress! Made me feel so small and sexy. But it was very very tight. I squeezed into a small and should have gotten the medium. I have already ordered it again for another event. The ladies at RTR are amazing. I called and they were so helpful. RTR is my new addiction!

From the time I ordered my Herve from Rent the Runway, I ramped up my working out, anticipating the snug fit of this dress. To my surprise, the size small fit! It gave me a nice shape, but it bordered on too tight for tastefulness through the hip/thigh, where I am curviest. (I'm sensitive to tight clothes looking vulgar) The medium was more demure, form fitting but not tight; however, it was roomy up top as if worn by a very chest-blessed woman. I could make it work with fashion tape or by cinching the shoulder with a brooch, but I kept feeling like the small was a better fit. Another two days of working out, avoiding salty foods, and drinking plenty of water made the size small the winner on the day of the event! I was able to wear spanx underneath and they were not visible as other renters have mentioned. I also noticed over the evening that the dress stretched just like jeans do, so if you are between sizes, wear the smaller one around the house for a bit to see if it relaxes some. It truly hurt to pack this dress up to send back. The colors are so beautiful in person. :) I received many compliments on the color and style, and my husband LOVED it on me. I'm excited to wear another Herve Leger soon.

I rented this dress for my birthday, and I absolutely fell in love. The style is super flattering, especially with the dark blue around the midsection, and the colors are super vibrant. It really didn't even need any accessories, I just wore nude pumps and simple gold earrings. I got so many compliments and felt like an absolute knockout on my birthday. Definitely one of my favorite rentals thus far!

Never had the guts to wear Herve Leger until now. This dress was a great success! The fabric is thick and and the form-fitting bandage effect was a lot smoother than I thought. my favorite part was the strategically-placed ombre effect, where the darkest shades were in the middle. In photos, it made my waist look smaller than it really is. I was also pleasantly surprised to see such a good price ($40!) Normally the Herve Leger's rent for $120+. RTR really came through for my birthday and I couldn't have asked for better service!

I love to rent Herves from RTR and have rented 6 or so and this is definitely my favorite. Wore it for a NYE party with some glittery Jimmy Choos and I definitely received countless compliments. The colors are so pretty and the picture doesn't do it justice.

This dress was amazing. I received small and xs, went with the small. Fit perfect, Very tight fit and very flattering! I did not where spanx as recommended, didn't need it, except when I look back a few photos from the party I look like I have a little pooch, so on my next Herve dress I will wear spanxs for that special slimming squeeze. Love,love, love! First rental, nice packaging and absolutely loved the dress! It's practical to rent since you'll be wearing it only once. My love said he fell in love with me all over agiain! This serves my purpose! Although it also is flattering to hear everybody saying wow when they saw me that night

This dress fit like a glove! It's very tight, but it should be, for the type of dress that it is. It wasn't so tight that it became uncomfortable, since the whole dress is made with stretchy bands - I danced all night with no issues! The dress shows every curve, but the dark ombre in the middle is very flattering. I would recommend getting a size up as your 2nd size, if you are worried that it may be too tight. And have a friend nearby to zip you up!!

I wore this dress to my 25th reunion and received numerous compliments. I was so comfortable and will definitely rent this dress again. You will need someone to to help you zip up the back. I already ordered my next two dresses for fashion show this weekend!

I rented this dress for a sorority semi-formal and was extremely happy with the dress! This is my first RTR dress so I was nervous the dress wouldn't work, but it was extremely comfortable and flattering! I wore the medium, but could have easily worn the small. It was a bit loose in the back, but was glad it was easy to wear a strapless bra with the dress!

This dress is obviously gorgeous just looking at it online but even more beautiful when you put it on! I've been dying to wear something from Herve Leger for a long time and thanks to RTR, they were able to make that possible for a college student. The dress is the perfect length, the material has nice give. I didn't end up wearing a bra with it (not even chicken cutlets would fit) but the elasticy, tight bandage held those puppies down and in place all night even while dancing. Also didn't wear any shapewear because i was afraid you could tell I was wearing it but the fabric does a nice job holding you in firmly. Literally was showered in compliments by everyone all night, I wore it with nude heels it all worked out perfectly!

I wore this dress for a formal with a group from the Naval Academy and it was flawless. I cannot even count the amount of compliments I got. This dress is extremely figure flattering and was totally fine in my bust (which is usually my problem)-- I am a 36DD and it fit wonderfully. It flattens out your tummy area, I didn't need spanx and the color was so vibrant and eye catching! Definitely recommend.

Great fit. This was a beautiful dress and held me in perfectly all night. The colors are also gorgeous and very flattering. I was able to wear a strapless bra with it. Although this is a very tight dress it still classy because of the cut. Doesn't show too much skin unlike some other Herves . I loved wearing it and had a blast dancing all night!

I was so worried about the fit. I am a curvy girl, wear a 34D and usually a size 6. I was pretty sure I needed a size M but the dress was unavailable in a M so I rolled the dice and got the size S. I ordered a different style Herve Leger in a size M for backup, but really had my heart set on this one. Well wouldn't you know it the dress zipped up without a problem! It was snug but definitely not uncomfortable. Also the color is much more vibrant than it looks on the model. I absolutely loved everything about this dress! After two kids, and all that time in the gym, rocking this dress was the ultimate reward. I wish I could bottle that feeling! I will rent again.. what an amazing experience with RTR.

I felt like a million bucks in this gorgeous Herve. It was in immaculate/new condition. The quality of the fabric is top-knotch. I was able to go braless and I wore Spanx brand nude hose to keep me warm as the wedding reception was outdoors and it was a cool day. As the oldest sister to the bride, I had a lot of running around and this dress kept me feeling comfortable and gorgeous all day. This dress was not a style I had ever worn before, but I was celebrating a significant weight loss and after reading the reviews here I thought, "why not?" It was my first rental dress and I was definitely impressed. Fabulous!

To say I was excited to wear this dress is an understatement. The colors are beautiful. The fit is amazing. I felt like a million bucks in this dress and definitely had the attention of all the men at the wedding, including my husband. I did not wear any spanx, but would highly recommend them if you have any excess weight you need to hide.

I honestly have never received so many compliments as to when I wore this dress. I posted a photo of my boyfriend and I from our date night and the compliments are still pouring in from people I haven't heard from in years. As soon as you zip it up, you can tell how amazing it is and how different from any other dress you've worn before. The fabric is so comfortable; it moves with you and most importantly to making you look like a knock-out is that it shapes you in all of the right places. I had a really hard time sending this one back in the mail.
