Loved this dress, it is true to size but unfortunately my size wasn't available so I got a size bigger (that's how bad I wanted it!!) which didn't turn out to be too bad because it is a bodycon dress but would have been even better in my exact size! It was my first outfit for my 21st birthday in Vegas and was a total success wish I could have kept it!!

I wore this to a wedding on a boat in NYC and it was perfect. Fit was great! I'm short so it was a little longer on me than the model but I felt like that made it more wedding appropriate.

It fit pretty true to size. I had to go with the XS because I ordered last minute and I based my decision on women with body dimensions like myself. The straps were a little loose and because of the stretchy material I had to check that it wasn't creeping too low but it barely was an issue. Otherwise the dress fit like a glove. Tight but also not constrictive and didn't make me feel squeezed in. I was very comfortable and got a lot of compliments. I did not have time to shop for this event and I think this dress was better than anything else I could have found for around $100. The gold color has a slightly "painted on" look which is subtle but very striking. I would wear this dress again.

The fabric is very thick which works well for holding everything in place and I was able to wear a normal bra with it.

The fit is incredibly comfortable, it looked small but was able to hug my curves in all the right ways. Wore a strapless bra without any shapeware and it looked great. I was worried the color wouldn't look good on my pale skin but with the shimmer it looked great!

I wish I could live in this dress. I LOVED the scoop neck even though I typically go for v-neck styles.

This was my first time using RTR and I am SO impressed! I had reserved an XS and a S in this Herve, and the XS was returned damaged a couple days before my event. RTR sent me 3 other dresses free of charge to ensure I had something to wear! I did end up wearing the Small and loved it. I felt pretty bloated with water weight that day, and the XS probably would have sucked me in a little bit more, but it definitely looked great! I will be using RTR for everything now! This dress is amazing and perfect for gals on the shorter side, as it looked sexy and classy at the same time!

This away the perfect and most amazing dress for my bachelorette party. Herve dresses achieve a great balance of sexiness and sophistication. Hugged my body in all the right places while still being comfortable so that I could eat, drink and dance! Awesome dress. I wore this dress with Spanx and a low back bustier. I highly recommend this kind of bra for larger chested women as normal bras will likely show. Paired it with burgundy heals and chandelier earrings of my own. Was getting compliments and turning heads all night!! Highly recommend this dress!!

The dress was amazing, I got compliments all night long, I ended up wearing the medium at 6 months pregnant and it fit great! I am 5'10" and the length was perfect. For $30 it's a total steal! Nude pumps and some statement earrings and bangles were the perfect accessories.

Wow, wow, wow!! It's so ridiculously comfortable and feels so magnificent on. This was actually my back up dress and I knew the fabric was clingy so I ordered the medium, but I could've gone with the small. It was for a gay wedding where half the guests were super conservative mormons so I had a hard time reconciling what I should wear at all..this was perfect!! It's longer on short girls than it looks on the model, that's for sure. It was perfect for what I needed and I can't imagine any girl not fully enjoying everything about wearing this dress!!

This dress made me nervous at first. I read other reviews saying it hugged in all the right places, but I thought it was too good to be true that literally everyone who reviewed it looked fantastic. It wasn't until I tried on this piece of art that I got what they were talking about! The color is stunning, but subtle. And the fit gives such an amazing shape. I run a lot, but sadly have no butt to show for it (I have hips instead) and this dress have me curves allll over. Also, being larger chested I was worried it would cut too low, but for Valentines Day with my husband, I thought it hit appropriate enough. Definitely renting again!

This dress is by far one of my favorite Herves that I have worn. It fits amazingly, holds everything in well, and is just a stunning dress all around. I received so many compliments on this dress and absolutely felt like a queen when I wore it. The gold shimmer in the dress is subtle enough to not be tacky but sparkly enough to add some flair. I would definitely consider buying this dress.

This dress was amazing! I got compliments all night long! It was sexy but classy at the same time! I was so nervous about renting this without trying it on first, but it was AWESOME! I never wanted to return it and rent the runway is so amazing! I will be renting many more dresses in the future!

I wear a size 0 and 0 petites, but even the XS was too snug! This dress fit like a GLOVE in the size small...absolutely stunning. I have really fair skin, so I was nervous after the other reviews that it might wash me out, but it honestly compliments lighter skin, toor. DO NOT BE SCARED OF THIS DRESS. I wore this a week ago and people are STILL telling me how amazing I looked. I would not recommend this for a wedding- its very sexy and show stopping. I wore this to a sorority cocktail, and the occasion + dress combo were perfect.

It is more of a nude metallic color rather then gold, but it was still a beautiful dress!!!! Paired with black pumps it was absolutely perfect!

I wore this dress for NYE in Vegas and felt wonderful in it. It was surprisingly comfortable and easy to dance in- plus it attracted many compliments :) I wore it for 11 hours straight and it never once felt constricting. The dress was a little loose around the rib cage and bagged just a bit, but otherwise it was flawless. I HIGHLY recommend this dress for anyone looking for something sophisticated yet super sexy :)

The fit was just about perfect. I ordered the dress in a S and XS. RTR's XS was unfortunately returned damaged so as a replacement they kindly sent me 2 other very nice dresses in the XS size (THANK YOU RTR!). I typically wear a size 2, but fortunately the S fit just right! I am on the shorter side, so the length was a bit long but I was able to tuck in the bottom since it was tight enough. All in all, this was the perfect dress for a new year's eve party with my husband in NYC!

This Herve shift was a great RTR recommendation. Splendid for an elegant birthday dinner and also complemented the Oscar de la Renta Baroque Necklace. A winning combo!

This dress was amazing and I recommend every woman at some point wear a Herve Leger dress. It hugs and enhances in all the right places. The only size available was a XS and I was nervous about it as I would normally want a S, but this fit perfect because I don't have very broad hips or a big chest. I considered wearing a NuBra with the dress, but the dress is tight enough to hold smaller breasts in place and i think the bra would've shown through. i also didn't wear spanks either, but I'm pretty comfortable with what I'm working with even if some women would prefer to smooth it out.

This dress was perfect for cocktail-attire charity event that I wore it to. I ordered the XS and S and went with the XS because it was a better fit + in much better condition than the small. It is definitely form fitting but a fun wear for a special event.

This was my "back up" dress for my step-sister's wedding. It was amazing. All the reviews of Hervé Léger dresses were spot on. This dress made me feel like a million dollars. It was a little too sexy for the wedding, so I decided to wear it out for drinks with my husband. I think we both felt like movie stars. I was hoping to "dress it down" a bit with boots and jacket, however, the quality of the dress is so high you can't skimp with cheap shoes or accessories. Fortunately I had a Chanel punk rock metal black bracelet and some Kate Spade shoes hiding in the back of my closet. After trying this on my daughter said, "Mom, Dad just looked at you like he wants to be your boyfriend." Thanks for the fabulous dress!

My daughter and I visited RTR during Fashion week. The stylists were incredibly helpful in helping me choose this dress for an afternoon into evening wedding in September. When the dress arrived it was a bit bigger than I had remembered. The straps were a tad long for my frame and the overall fit was slightly loose so that it shifted around when I moved. I called RTR and they were more than helpful. They overnighted another Herve Leger dress as the small "gold card sheath dress" was unavailable for my date. I ended up wearing the gold card sheath dress with a jacket. It looked great and was incredibly comfortable to wear. I was once again impressed with the RTR experience and would highly recommend RTR and this dress to you.

This dress is incredible and I wish I could have kept it! I wore this to a wedding and received compliments all night from guests of all ages (including my boyfriend who LOVED it). The dress is incredibly flattering and hugs you in all the right places, but also shows everything. I chose to size up to the small (usually an XS) since I received a fairly new dress that had not been worn in yet. Also, since I'm 5'1", the dress hit right at my knees vs. a few inches above as shown on the model which was PERFECT for a wedding. Highly recommended!

The XS was brand new, the size S was stretched out from the previous rental. I squeezed myself into the XS because I wanted to make sure I wore the new one. I recommend spanx with it, no matter how tiny you are. Looks great on TAN skin :)

The fit is very tight, I'm typically always a 2 or small. I ate lightly for two days before the wedding (grilled chicken, veggies and drank water) and wore with a pair of spanks that made everything smooth underneath. It was a beautiful dress to wear and I got tons of compliments, the gold shimmer is gorgeous, I paired it with minimal rose-gold jewelry and a sexy pair of nude pumps...would love to own this one day! Classic and chic.

I was worried this dress would be too "light" for a wedding but its the most beautiful foiled gold color. The tag actually said rose gold. I could wear spanx but nothing else......this dress shows everything, but at the same time, holds everything in. The Medium fit fine but I went with the sm because it was shorter and made me feel thinner. You petite girls need to get the xs. Absolutely the most stunning dress I've ever worn! I saw this dress come on the site and ordered it for my 23rd birthday immediately. I usually can wear the XS in Herve but this dress was brand new, tags and all, so I was glad I had the small being that until it was worn, there was way less give in the fabric than any other Herve I had rented that had been preworn. This dress is a little on the longer side but it's such a sexy cut and the color is so to die for that I didn't even feel the need to tape it up. I got compliments all night, but then again that's what wearing Herve is all about. Amazing dress, just remember to size up until there's a substantial amount of reviews/renters before you.

fit snugly but very flattering

I loved the color, it was on the spectrum between gold and champagne. I wore it with a simple gold necklace and dangle earrings (my own). it's definitely form fitting but there was enough stretch to walk, dance, etc very comfortably. I wore a strapless bra which was generally fine; I had to lift the front of the dress up a couple times early in the night to get to cover the top of the bra, but once I adjusted it a couple times, it seemed to stay in place (without dress tape). I'm 5'4" and the dress hit a couple inches above my knee.

I loved this dress! It fit true to size and was simple but still made a statement! Obviously, as a Herve dress, it is very form fitting but the light gold isn't as forgiving as some of the other color dresses. If you have curves, this dress will definitely hug you in the right places, but it might also hug some not so right places. Loved it though! I styled this with nude pumps and the Erickson Beamon Tropical Punch earrings.

This dress is not metallic at all like it looks in the photo, so at first I was disappointed in the color - but I ended up blinging it up with amazing earrings, sparkly cuffs and shoes with spikes (can't see in photo). Herve Leger dresses at first feel really tight but somehow they sort of warm up and mold your body like no other. Had compliments all night and in fact wearing it again tonight to another party. 4 days to keep is great especially if you have holiday parties!

The dress is more of a nude dress with gold freckles than a gold dress which was what I expect. It is gorgeous though.

Well, you shouldn't plan to eat if you wear this dress! I thought it would be OK that only XS was available since I can usually wear an XXS, but it was still way too tight for me. A very sexy fitting dress but it made me feel bigger and I wished I owned a pair of Spanx! It was also on the longer side since I am short. Size up!

I LOVED this dress! I had a M and S, but ended up wearing the M. The S was a little too tight, and M was a lot more comfortable to move in. The one bad thing about it was the back of my bra showed a little, so I had to keep adjusting it throughout the night. I would definitely recommend this dress to others.
