I rented this dress for a work holiday party. It was perfect - fun and flattering but not too revealing. The material really sucks you in - it looks great on! The sizing does run small, I typically am a size small, but I wore a medium in this dress and it was tight. Overall I loved it and would definitely recommend this dress!

XS was a tight fit but extremely slimming and looked beautiful (I'm usually a 0/2). Dress was in perfect condition. Absolutely loved it and got a ton of compliments.

I wore this dress to my rehearsal dinner. I received a lot of compliments in it, I felt comfortable, and most of all - my hubby really loved it!

It's tight, but in a good way. It does have a bit of weight to it. I am a size 0 and the xs was too small on me so I'd say it runs a bit small. Overall I am super happy with the dress! I felt sexy but age appropriate for this "everyone but the bride wears black" bachelorette party I attended.

The dress fit like a glove. I loved it. There is a good weight to the dress. It wasn't too short either. The wait could have been a little higher up but I guess that's a short girl's problem.

I loved how the sleeves and high neckline make this dress conservative, but the short length kept it flirty!! As for the size and fit, tight but comfortable, in the usual style of a bandage dress. I don't think it would be very comfortable for a larger bust though- the chest area fit me snugly, but definitely didn't have any extra give. The back zipper was a tough one to close all on your own, so make sure you have a friend around to help zip you up!

I ordered a small and a medium and although they were both pretty much the same length, the medium fit a bit larger in the waist. Don't be fooled by the weight of the material (it feels heavy when you pick it up), it is needed for such a flattering fit. I would recommend this dress to everyone- and I would definitely rent it again.

I rented this for a black tie wedding and was so happy with it! It's lowcut and sexy, gives your body a great, curve-hugging shape, but you can still wear a normal bra with it. The flared skirt makes it much more unique than a typical Herve dress. Fantastic dress, especially if you're busty!

I wore this dress out to a dinner party last weekend and all eyes were on me! The fit was absolutely fantastic! This dress has the sexy snug fitting top of classic Herve Legers, but flares out at the end for a playful mixup! This dress is also very versatile and can be worn to an array of events.

Wore this dress for a party at a rooftop in the city, and was OBSESSED. The fit is amazing, and perfect for testing the Herve Leger waters - it's only tight up top so you'll see how they fit without having a completely fitted look. I wish the dress photographed as well as it looks in person - the detailing is beautiful! Pair it with chunky earrings or a statement necklace for a little bit of pop.

This dress was really great! I loved how fitted it was in the bust and waist, but was flared in the skirt! It made it a really easy and comfortable dress to wear! I did feel like the arms were a little snug, so I would recommend sizing up for backup. This dress was on the shorter side, it hit about 4-5 inches above my knee. Definitely a great black dress for any time of the year!

The dress was pretty. The fabric was heavy though and not very comfortable. That being said I would still rent it again. The XS was to small on top (specifically the sleeves), but the small fit, just a little big on top.

The fit was tight up top like any herve, but it flares out at about your hips. If the area below your belly button is chubby, this dress may not be a good fit for you unless you wear spanx which would definitely work. I have an overall athletic build and it was a little tight in my arms but it was totally doable. I also have a big athletic butt but I'm only 5'3" but the length was pretty short due to my boobs and butt needing a lot of material to cover them! I would totally buy this dress if RTR has another trunk show and I would definitely rent again. My only complaint is the dress I received had two holes from the stitching being ripped at the seams but I sorted it out with my RTR representative and everything is fine. I am confident that my next experience will not be like that. Sending the package back was a breeze!!! I will definitely rent again and I would absolutely rent this dress again. If you're between measurements, go up. When I rented, there was only a medium available but all my measurements were a small except my bust and butt so I thought a medium would fit fine, it totally did but if I had the option for a second size I would have sized up. I'm only giving it four stars because of the ripped seam other than that it deserves five stars!

The dress was true to size, and it had a simple, clean shape that I really liked. The cut wasn't really flattering though. It's very tight to right below the stomach, and then it flares out. This definitely emphasizes the "curves" around your lower stomach and hips. The length was good for the rehearsal dinner I went to, but it might not be ideal for dancing or doing something with a lot of movement.

I was really wanting to love my first Leger experience. Alas it was not to be... :-( It is was very flattering from the waist up but the fit was tight all the way down to the hips and then it flared out. I think I needed extra height in the torso to pull this off.

This dress is very fitted event though it goes out at the bottom. It's fitted around your waist area and then right below is where it flares. It is low cut so it will show the girls.

Gorgeous dress! I will certainly be renting this dress again. I ordered a small and medium and ended up going with the medium, as I am larger chested and the small acted almost as a sports bra and squished my chest. Although the small fit better through the waist, the fitted nature of the dress made the medium look just as good.

I wanted to order this dress in a Small, but it was out of stock so I went with the Medium. I was worried it would be too big, but it was actually perfect! I loved the short sleeves and the thickness of the material. The skirt was short, but very full only at the bottom so it was very flattering. It was a fun dress to dance in! I will definitely rent this one again.

Great dress. It is versatile and fun. It is tight in the hips so it makes for a sexy flare. I had a great time dancing the night away in this dress!

I absolutly loved this dress. it was super flattering. However being 5'11 it was a bit too short to wear without tights which I had forgotten to pack so I wasnt able to wear for the wedding. Would definatly rent again for another event and have the tights ready.

I didn't end up wearing this dress because it didn't fit. I thought (naively) that I could fit into it 6 months pregnant because of its stretchy material. Not happening! But I loved the dress. I will definitely order it again when I'm not pregnant. It is very flattering on the waist area. I will note that the dress is very heavy so it might not work for a hot summer wedding, but definitely in the spring/summer/fall. Looks very short in the picture but it was a perfect length on me (I'm a little over 5 feet).

It is VERY tight, and offers support and spanx will not be neccessary. However- if you're a size 8 (solid 8, not closer to a 6) I recommend the large. This dress is semi-forgiving. If you have a little bulge, this will suck it in. If you're looking for more, then you may need spanx.

I ordered this dress as a back up to another for a wedding and ended up choosing the other just because it was summer and I wanted to wear color. I ended up wearing this dress however the next day to work and loved it. So did my coworkers!

This is a really fun dress...fun and flirty. Do remember that it is Herve Leger and is therefore VERY form fitting through the top... that's a good thing because it holds A LOT in but may be difficult if you're self conscious. It's also short even for me at 5'4".
