Full disclosure: I am 62 and this dress gets close to “old lady trying to look young” territory. That said, it is FABULOUS. It looks good on everyone. Waist-defining but not constricting. Perfect length. Fabric is ingeniously fashioned to look & feel like cotton but label says it’s 100% polyester so it will dry if you sweat in 90 degree weather. The sleeves don’t look as bad as I thought on my brawny upper arms :) Wore with sneakers but I can see it with tan booties for Fall.

As soon as I put this dress on I was in love!! The silhouette is so flattering! The poplin material was perfect during the day and I felt comfortable and stylish while exploring Paris.

I really like this simple dress. The cut is a bit low but snug so whether you opt for a bra or not is your choice. The length is a bit long/weird for my 5’5 frame but I liked the ease of just putting it on and being ready for the day.

Wore this on a gals wine trip in Oregon and it was perfect. Layers well with a jacket. Nice poplin material makes it great for living up your sundress dreams and looks nice without being overly formal. Pockets always a plus. Note you will be showing cleavage if you’re bigger busted.

Lightweight, flattering, perfect neckline

I’m obsessed. Being on the short side I worry dresses like this will overpower me/be too long, but this dress fit perfectly. Snatches your waist, has pockets, and is just flattering and comfortable! I might keep it, it’s that good.

Felt so cutesy in this dress!! The neckline is beautiful and fit great (I’m pretty flat chested). The bodice before the skirt fit me like a glove and was so flattering - which is great bc the skirt is a little bit fuller. The sleeves were a good amount of poof, not too much. Wore with loafers. Wish I had a full length pic!!

All the reviews are right! This perfect dress snatches your waist and looks amazing. It barely wrinkled in my suitcase, and I didn’t see a need to iron. I am small chested so it fit me just right in the bust/neckline. Pockets, yay!! The puff sleeves are darling. I’ll rent this again and again

obsessed! I see why they call this a nap dress but I would have done anything in it. It was girly without being too precious. I couldn’t wear a bra but used sticky boobs and it worked perfectly fine. My only regret is not buying it 🥲

Super cute, high quality and comfortable. I'm pretty universally a size 6/M and the small fit me great (ordered based on other reviews) because the back panel has stretch. Perhaps in a Medium the girls wouldn't have been so out there but my hubby loved it.

I love a milkmaid vibe - this dress felt so amazing on, even though I felt only so-so about the silhouette on the hangar. Does amazing things for the waist without feeling too tight. Very well made!

I loved this! A great classic black dress- zips on the side for a flattering fit but the chest was a little lower that expected. Still loved it and wore it to work a wedding! I wore with golden goose sneakers but would also be cute with knee- high boots in the fall!

I am, and I cannot overstate this, OBSESSED with this dress. As a proclaimed skeptic of Hill House, I had tepid expectations for this one. Boy was I wrong. The bodice fits like a glove and the sleeves are adorable up OR down. I thought I was going to look like a little girl but it’s so simple, chic, and strangely sexy. Rented to wear in San Miguel de Allende for wedding planning activities (read: menu tasting) because it’s so flowy. I think I’m going to buy this one tbh

This fit me a little too small up top for me to feel confident and comfortable wearing without full coverage under garment. I thought it was really cute, and ended up wearing it for Halloween party. Could be a really nice dress for several occasions.

Fabric is light weight and worn during spring. Shoulders are puffed and length is great for petite

I wanted to love the dress and it was so close for me! The cut was super flattering and comfy. The pockets were amazing and the skirt was dreamy. My biggest issue was the neckline. It was very low cut and my bra cups kept creeping out. The square neck at the back also kept showing my bra straps. Ultimately, I don’t like showing my bra and I don’t personally feel comfortable with that much cleavage. It still looked great tho, so if you’re smaller busted or don’t mind some awesome cleavage, go for it!!

Like other reviewers I was skeptical of Hill House, but this dress is super chic, comfortable, and fits well. I wore it to dinner, I wore it to travel, super versatile.

Comfortable? Check. Romantic? Check. Imminent possibility of a nip slip? Check. I wore this dress for a day of running around NYC for Fall Market (which is in Feb). I felt like a princess out of a fairy tale in it, just one with a potential PG-13 rating as the dress seemed to strech and become loser in the chest throughout the day. It's hard to say if the dress would be best for smaller or larger busts, small might not fill it up and large might come spilling out. It's a bit of a goldilock situation - if the tits just right, you know. Anyway, it's beautiful & I used boob tape to keep the girls in place and prevent any potential public exposure violations! If you love the style, it’s worth renting.

I did love the silhouette of this dress and it has pockets. Finding the right bra was tough for this dress as it fits big in the chest and has stretchy sleeves.

I’ve been wanting to rent this dress for awhile. I got a ton of compliments on it and I did feel good in it but will say the color was washed faded out black. Otherwise, it was comfy and a good neutral black dress. Would rent again in hopes it’s not a wash out color.
