The fit was absolutely flawless, except for the length. Thank goodness for the temporary hem tape, which made the whole glorious night possible! It didn't tear the lace and kept things right above the toe of my heels. Literally perfect.

I rented the "Back in Action Romper" which was slightly too big on me. I used the hem tape to bring the shorts up about an inch and it worked perfectly. I made sure to measure the hem evenly, pinned it in place, and then ironed the new hem. Then I applied the tape in the fold with about a quarter inch between each piece of tape. The hem tape stayed in place after a full night of dancing and then came off easily the next morning.

The hem tape is very strong and durable...I was worried at first, but it hemmed my dress perfectly all night!

The tape worked great for several hours, but after dancing and having it stepped on by guys dancing by me and other girls' heels, it fell and I was holding my dress up the rest of the night. The fabric on my dress was very heavy, I imagine the tape would be perfect on a dress with less heavy fabric.

Hemming 3 inches all the way around this dress took a hit minute, but when we were done you could not tell. Held for about 5 and a half hours, and I didn't trip once. The little ruler on the tin actually came in quite handy

I'm 5 feet tall and needless to say, everything must be hemmed. I rented this gorgeous gown last minute for a wedding at the RTR store and I noticed this hem tape. The stylist helping me assured me the tape worked well; the alternative was to wear 6" platform heels. When I got home I tested it out anf it was a strong hold, so I wore 4" heels intead. I used 8 pieces of tape total on a slinky and satin gown and it held ALL night. I packed more tape just in case the tape started to weaken but it was not needed. I love this stuff!!! I wardrobe must.

I was really worried about the fit...my athletic body..wide shoulders..short waist..all what I thought would be limiting on finding a formal dress to fit ...well...this dress smoothed out all those worries right away.5'2" and can't wear high heels so I knew to request some hem tape which I had a tailor help me with. Thank you..this is the first formal dress I've worn since the High School prom 100 years ago!

I used this to hem a tight bandage dress up 4 inches. It was easy to use.... And worked like a charm. It held up all night without issue. I highly recommend this product.

The hem tape works extremely well, easy to apply, good adhesion. An absolute must when you're shorter!

This tape is terrific for everything from hemming to getting something to STAY. Being small-busted, I often use it when I'm wearing a loose, low-cut top and don't want any over-exposure. On my most recent trip, a friend borrowed a piece that she divided in two to help keep her shoe straps from falling down off the back of her ankles. A must-have for every fashionista!

Love this tape! Keeps those pesky (yet necessary) hanger holders out of sight for the entire event every time. I will ALWAYS have a supply handy from here on out!

Totally did the job of hemming my RTR Shoshanna dress. Very clean and easy to use. Just don't forget to set aside some time to make the adjustments! (10-30 minutes) We did it by marking the length with the dress on, then "hemming" the remainder of the dress while it was off. P.s. - this was my first experience with this product. Would definitely use it again.

I took it on a trip because I was afraid the train of a flowy dress I was borrowing would be too long. I was able to use the tape strategically to hem the dress to the perfect length! This tape is a MUST HAVE in any girls emergency pack.

I used the temporary hem tape to shorten a long dress to fit my 5'1" height. They certainly got the job done! Very easy to use, and held the dress up all night long.

Most of the dresses supplied by Rent the Runway run long for a 5'2" person even with heels. I am older and cannot wear more than a 2 1/2" heel, so the tape was mandatory to be sure the dress wouldn't drag on the ground or upstairs to the church as I walked. Very helpful.

Definitely worth investing in if you're on the fence with Regular or Long length. I'm 5'7" and love to wear heels so I'm always afraid ordering a Regular will leave me with that highwater dress look, these are great.

I was worried about this not staying for the entire night but it did without a problem. I'm really short so my dress was way too long, but with this tape, I was able to make it the perfect length. Definitely recommend it!

This was a great temporary solution to fix a long hem on a rented dress. I will be using it again.

I used the fashion tape for a floor length gown that I needed to shorten by several inches. It was a huge pain to put on, but that would happen with any fashion tape. I put the tape on 24 hours before the event and it never lost its stickiness.

Just add it to your bag... Came in handy on many occasions after as well.
