Felt like a European crossing guard
Was so excited about this slashed lapel jacket. I feel like this could be very nice on a slight frame, but with broad shoulders it was just too boxy. The fabric is also really unpleasant to the touch. Great idea but not for me.

Have such a crush on Haider Ackermann, wish this boxy blazer worked
I have wanted to wear this designer for years, and was very excited to be able to get a few pieces through Unlimited. Unfortunately, this blazer was not a good fit for me. It is a very big, boyfriend type blazer. The length does not work with my body type, my legs are short so it just swallowed me up. the fabric is some kind of blend that didn't feel that great to me, the color was a dull black, and it wrinkled. The coolest detail would have been the slashed lapel, but due to the way the blazer was made, you couldn't really tell that feature was there when you wore it. I made myself wear it to brunch, but it definitely didn't work for the conference outfit I had rented it for.

Nice, but big
The fabric is flatter and more matte than I had anticipate, and the slash looks sloppy (on me) rather than interesting. I think I'm too slight in build for this to work.

Cool, unique, lots of compliments
An oversized fit, I sized down so it was not quite as oversized. Super cool detail, and I got lots of compliments wearing this. Wore it with a white tee and vintage style black jeans. I would rent again

I used the recommended size but it was too big.
Interesting details. For me (size 6), shoulders were too wide (about 1" each side) and sleeves too long.

I wear between a 6 and 8. The 8 was gigantic, the 4 fit beautifully. My husband didn't like the look of it mostly because of the shoulder pads being so substantial. The fabric was heavy and itchy, even the lining was a bit itchy. (I am more sensitive than most but it went back) I thought the linen blend with the wool would have helped lighten it up but it didn't.
