Form fitting yet still classy. I am usually an 8/10 and the medium fit well. I received compliments from the old and young all night. Was appropriate for my church event. And also good in cold weather -nice, thick fabric. I felt awesome all night long!

This dress is amazing! I want to buy it to have forever! I wore this 7 1/2 months pregnant (size S) and it was SO comfortable. There is a bit of stretch but also a little structure to it so that it doesn't feel like its getting baggy as the day goes on. I would wear this not pregnant in a heartbeat! The sleeves were just enough detail to give it a little something extra but weren't overpowering. LOVE THIS DRESS!!!

Such a great, flattering, easy to wear dress and another instance of how perfect RTR is - this is not my style at all and I never buy things like this but it was just right for gallery opening reception for my job. Dress is well made and the material is really nice - almost like scuba but matte, it is very smooth and has plenty of stretch but it is thick and not clingy. The length is cool, below the knee so very sleek with a requisite heel, and the shoulder and high-neck detail are flattering and make it a more interesting look. It fit to size but wasn't skin tight, so if you are looking for more of a sexy fit you could size down

Wore this for a family photoshoot and paired it with a belt! I really like the overall style and versatility of the dress.

I loved this dress! It was so flattering and I got so many compliments. The material is really comfortable and doesn't stretch too much, I will say the turtleneck is very tight and did feel constricting at some times of the day. But overall would rent again!

This dress is a stunner. I even rented it in green! I'm very tall, and the dress hits me at the knee. For someone my height, the wider "hip" area sometimes crawls up my frame, and the dress is a little large in my waist, but that in no way takes away from how beautiful it looks and feels on. The structured shoulder and substantial, stretchy fabric makes it feel chic. Depending upon the shoes you wear, it can be dressed up or down. I wore it for a day off of work in NYC, but's it's great for parties and work as well.

This dress fit me perfect! I'm 5'8, 145 pounds. I like how slimming it felt and looked on me. The material was thick but not to warm and all around a beautifully made dress! This designer is one of my favorite!

I really liked this dress. It was well-made, thick and slightly tight (especially on the arms and elbows) but felt cozy and warm for a chilly night date. I'm pear shaped and usually wear 0-4 on top and 6-8 on bottom. I ordered the XS and it fit nicely in my chest (didn't need a bra) and felt comfortable on my hips too. The material was nicer and stretchier than I expected and I liked the shoulder detailing. The only con was that the tightness in the arms made me unable to zip it up myself so I needed my husband's help each time. If you have big arm muscles, consider sizing up. The leg opening is also a bit small so while walking around SF, I felt like I was found a TheraBand leg exercise all night.

This dress is amazing. I got so many compliments. It is definitely true to size. I have a smaller waist so it worked well. I had the large as a back up but it was too big. The medium was skin tight but after like 10 min it's super comfortable. I would rent this again.

The sleeves?! Hello. The shape? Woa. This dress is an absolute knock out. I wore it to an awards show and felt so comfortable and glam. It was cold out but I skipped tights & was fine. The fabric has a great weight and feels very luxe.

I wore this dress for NYE and felt so chic. The shoulders feel so sassy, and for a bigger girl I felt like this was very flattering as a snug fit. It was a bit tight in the bust for me, but otherwise perfect!

I loved this dress. I felt like a total BA in it with red lips. My husband made some Cruella Deville comments, but I received a few compliments from my coworkers. I wish this had been slightly more fitted in the waist as I had a little bit of sagging, but overall would rent again. Very well-made and high-quality fabric.

I wish I owned this dress! I wore it to a work function and got a ton of compliments. The quality is tops (thick/stretchy) and it's super comfortable. The ruffle sleeves are a fabulous compliment to the severity of the look which is punctuated by the length. Hard not to own the room among suits and suit dresses in this one.

Wore on a cold rainy spring night, which was perfect. But don't think I could get away with being on a dance floor in the warmer months in this. I'd definitely suggest erring on the smaller side when ordering. I have thicker thighs and big boobs with a smaller waist. Waist felt looser but wasn't really noticeable. The fabric is super high quality and thick, almost like a neoprene, with just enough stretch to be reeeeally flattering and smoothing. Tighter fit made all the difference, it cinched and supported my curves without pulling or looking strained. Didn't really stand out late at night being all black and rather modest for a cabaret, but that wasn't what I was going for. Definitely felt sexy and powerful in an understated way and the style was on point for the crowd. Would wear again!

Its baggy in the middle area - more than you think

This dress y'all- This *clap* dress *dress* !!! The silhouette created an hourglass figure and it is super flattering. The dress has a good amount of stretch so I didn't feel like I was going to #BustIt open when I sat down. It's super modest but even more sexy. Seriously- rent it NOW... just not this one cause I'll probably buy it.

Nice fabric, very forgiving fit, no spanx needed. Unfortunately I don't have the right body for this. I have a very long torso and this dress highlighted how low slung my bum is. I think this same designer has a top only version of this and I'd love to rent that. If you are a triangle or hourglass and you don't have a long torso you'll look amazing in this dress.

Loved this dress. The knit was heavier weight but no suffocating. Perfect for fall/winter and you can dress up or down. Loved it so much I bought it!

This dress is very flattering. The fabric is thick but still super stretchy. I wore this in New York when it was super cold and I was very comfortable. It was a show stopper dress.

This is a dress that is comfortable and stylish, and I received so many compliments throughout the night! This was a wedding in February so I was warm enough and still looked dressy. I wore the dress with leopard heels to add a pop of color and pattern. The sleeves are a little shorter than wrist length so a bracelet also added a bit of sparkle. I carry more of my weight in the hips so went with M in case a S would have been too tight. I definitely could have done a S since it's was a little baggy in the waist and upper body. It's got a lot of stretch all over and is very forgiving with the right undergarments. This was my backup dress, but I was so pleased with this choice and wore it instead. Rent it and you won't regret it!

great dress would rent again

I wore this for a work conference when I was 32 weeks pregnant. It is Stretchy enough to be comfortable and form fitting, and structured enough to look professional. I looked and felt great and received so many compliments. I highly recommend and would rent again (pregnant or not pregnant!)

Fit beautifully. Form fitting but not too tight. Great little black dress with that Judy Jenson sleeve/shoulder detail. I'd rent this again for sure.

The color is like a charcoal, the fit is form fitting but the material is really thick so no need for Spanx or anything, super comfortable.

OBSESSED with this dress! Unfortunately it was too big. Fabric is great quality but thick. Not easy to hide its size if too big.
