I felt that this dress looked a little shapeless on me, so I paired it with lucite-heeled booties and a Free People harness to give it a little more shape and personality. It was a great dress for work, and I enjoyed wearing it, but it wasn't memorable enough to rent again.

I rented this purely because I love the color palette - and it is equally beautiful in person. The burgundy / navy combo is stunning and sophisticated. The fabric is weighty enough that the flowy design moves well but isn't too breezy and summery; fitting with the deeper color palette. The handkerchief hems are also slightly asymmetrical, adding to the visual interest. I found this true to size, although the only place it is fitted is around the bust and shoulders. The "inner" dress zips to give the top a bit more structure. This isn't the most flattering dress if your proportions are in any way unbalance. I have a large chest and from the side it did look a bit tent like. Also, the cut in neckline combined with the way the back panel come together can make bra straps a bit of a challenge. I ended up wearing a halter bra with a clear strap and had a scarf around my neck for further coverage. One additional note; I am 5'6" and this hit me at the knee in back and well below in front. It is longer than pictured on the model. Load of compliments from my design friends!

Went out of my comfort zone this time and glad I did. I received many compliments about this dress! I wear a 6 and for the most part it fit very well except it was a little snug in the bust. The "under" dress has a side zipper hidden under the burgundy drape. I was able to zip it up, but felt it pulled along the bustline across the darting, so I left it unzipped about an inch. I'm a 36D and wore a strapless bra. Because the back is a little exposed, a standard bra didn't work. Overall, I loved the look and would definitely recommend this dress!

The dress fit a little snug in my chest, but perfectly everywhere else. I really loved this dress! It was so unique.

Here is the deal. This dress is true to size, but you have to remember that most dresses on here are going to be the size you would wear in a bridesmaid dress, not a banana republic dress. I always match my pant size since i am a pear! Regardless, I will rent this one again as it is very comfortable! The colors are stunning and the fabric is very attractive and high end!

True to fit. I usually wear A line dresses due to my Zumba booty. This dress was very flattering and made me feel very pretty. And the necklace just added to the whole look.

It's a pretty dress but didn't like how it fit on me. I'm 5'7" and it was a bit too long in the front than I expected. It fit great other than that and the material was real nice, not too thin.
