This is a very versatile dress. I wore it to afternoon tea, but this would also be totally appropriate for a cocktail party. The fabric has some shimmer to it but still appropriate for daytime wear. The top also has a rubber? strip that prevents the dress from slipping.

My favorite RTR dress so far! I got it when it first came out so was probably one of the first to wear ot so it was in perfect condition. So sparkly, beautiful fit and such a fun hemline. I got a TON of compliments in it and felt fantastic in it. Perfect cocktail party dress!

The picture on the site doesn't do this dress justice. It's so sparkly and definitely more beautiful in person. The fit was perfect, the dress is true to size. There was boning that was poking me in the ribs a little bit, but it didn't bother me enough to not like the dress. I'm so happy I chose this one!

Great dress for looking fun, but conservative enough to wear to something slightly more formal. The tiers on the skirt or the dress are gorgeous and show off just enough leg - not too short, not too long. One con is that it is a bit heavy, so it doesn't hold very tightly at the waistline.

I rented the dress for NYE in Key West and it was great. Like other reviewers have said it is difficult to get zipped up, especially at the waist (near the rubber) and the the top. It was tight but was comfortable all night. The material is heavy and the rubber piping at the bottom was stiff and did not fall well at first. Overall though tons of fun and the necklace was perfect!!

For my first RTR this dress was fantastic! I ordered a 6 and an 8, when they arrived the 6 fit pretty meh. There was some major gaping at the bust and overall it felt pretty loose and looked kind of sloppy. I called customer service and they sent a replacement 6 to the hotel we were staying at out of state. I tried this 6 on and it was a much better fit! There was definitely something wrong with the first dress and sizing. There is no clasp at the top of the zipper so I did have to use a safety pin to keep it from unzipping about 1/2 an inch but this worked great. The dress was comfortable to dance in all night and I got so many wonderful compliments. I would recommend this dress to everyone!!

I am usually a size 0 but with a bigger bust I wore the 2. Part of the boning kept poking me. So I had to wear a band aid. The material was a bit heavy but gorgeous. There is some sparkle and shine. I received a lot of compliments.

Rented this for a party where I wanted to be cute and festive, but not too sexy. This dress fit that bill perfectly. It has a bit of sparkle that you can't really see in pictures that makes it fun. Very well constructed. Holds everything in place all night. I danced and moved around and I did not even have to think about the dress because it stayed perfectly put. I felt great in it and my husband loved it. I usually wear more form-fitting things but I think this one had enough of the cute factor to make it memorable too. I have a smaller upper body and a big butt, so the 2 fit perfectly as it really only had to fit the top part. Very happy :-)

When I first tried this dress on I couldn't get the zipper to close, there was about a 2" gap left to go (in both the 6 and the 8) so I thought I was doomed. It turns out I just needed a friend to help; there is no hook & eye to close the top while you zip so an extra set of hands makes all the difference. The material is stretchy and it was pretty comfortable. Agree w/ the other reviews in that it's shinier than it appears in the photos, and the skirt is a really fun, swingy style! I upsized due to a few extra holiday pounds, but I think it runs fairly true to size.

So this dress fit like a glove, it was super-comfy to wear all night. I have to be honest, I was very surprised by how SHINY it was when it arrived. I didn't realize it was quite so disco-ball silver, though I should have read the "silver jaquard" description more carefully I guess. But I went ahead and wore in anyway on the recommendation of several friends, and I'm glad I did! Because it's shorter, but the material is so flashy, it comes off somewhere between cocktail and formal; I wore it to a fancy evening wedding and it was totally appropriate. Would also be good for fancy holiday parties!

For a smaller chested girl I didn't feel like I was constantly having to pull it up to stay on but it also didn't feel like I was in a sausage casing.

I just want to review RTR. The customer service is amazing. I ordered a different dress for a wedding I had on a Friday. Wednesday at 5pm I got the dress, j tried it on and I did not like the fit. I called them and they had no problem sending me another dress overnight. Unfortunately something happened with shipping And it wasn't coming till Friday. I was leaving early Friday morning for wedding Out of state. Well again customer service was amazing and they said they would ship it to the hotel in which I was staying. And then of course I got sick and couldn't even go to the wedding and again customer service came through and cancelled my shipping to hotel without any questions, or problems. They were amazing and I am so grateful. .

Shimmery, sturdy fabric, well made. I usually wear size 2-4 and am 5' tall. The length was great and it was a perfect fit at the waist. I could not fit my chest into the top. This dress will not fit above a D cup.

I love the shape of this dress and the heavy weight of the fabric and wire framing in the bottom of the skirt keeps it from falling flat. The dress is much more silver and sparkly than the pictures reflect. Also, the zipper in the back does not have a hook or a fastener at the top, so the zipper slides down just 1/4 inch. Overall love the dress!

I rented this for a friends wedding. I rented it when there were no pictures online yet so I didn't know it was more of a metallic silver than grey. It worked out and everyone loved my dress.

It was a bit disappointing that one of the sizes that was sent had some issues in the quality. The top and middle leather seam outline was not well cared for during washing and had dried out and was cracked. This made the dress scratchy and uncomfortable to wear, and the bottom didn't hang quite right. Luckily the extra size did fit so I avoided a crisis, but just be aware that this dress could become damaged during washing and you may have issues when you receive yours. Other wise the size I was able to wear looked amazing and worked so well for my New Years Eve event. The length was perfect, and I am generally conservative on length (5'8", with long legs) The dress does run small, I was able to wear the 4 and the 6 when I generally am a size 8 in dresses.

Was snug at waist in the 0 but fit great in the 2. Was a great holiday party dress. I love the arches strapless top and the full skirt just long enough to be appropriate but short enough to be fun! The fabric has woven silver tread to make it more festive than it looked in pictures a great surprise.

Dress was beautiful and a lot of fun to wear, but it does run small! I usually wear a size 4 or 6, and I could barely get the 8 zipped up. I had to have a friend do it for me and ended up with marks on my back from the piping. Overall, great dress for a holiday party. Got so many compliments, and I felt beautiful in it! Love RTR!!

The dress is a lot shiner then the image leads on but very comfortable. I have larger boobs and tend to stay away from strapless dresses but this dress magical stayed up all night and felt very comfortable.

I really wish this dress fit. It has more of a sparkle than what the picture shows. It was too small for my postpartum figure but I would definitely rent again after loosing some weight. Stunning and beautiful dress!

Super cute dress - not built for a chest though. I have broad shoulders and 34C - couldn't zip up :-(
