Fun with jeans or over a dress. Lightweight and ornate.

Meh.

Kinda big and bulky. I wasn't expecting burnout velvet for some reason and was kind of disappointed in the fabric. Overall it seemed like something you can get on Amazon for $20.

Is this a kimono top that looks a little like a bathrobe? Yes. Is it also awesome? 100 percent.

So first of all you have to embrace the fact that it looks a little like you are wearing a bathrobe. But it is the world's most awesome bathrobe, evocative of silver screen stars of the 40s, and it looks great with jeans or dressy work pants. The button on the side ensures that it won't slip. The arms are ever-so-lightly see-through which gives a hint of sex appeal (did you know arms can be sexy? This top makes it so!). The fabric is lightweight - great for spring or summer - and the fit is flattering for those with waists. Is this kind of a weird top? Of course it is. But if you channel your inner Marlena Dietrich and go with it, this top is also the bomb.

Can be dressed up or down

I sized down to a small for this. which i think works for me. I feel like I didn't understand how to tie all the ties on this but it worked out fine.

Cute but a little heavy for a warm Texas afternoon in Spring.

Sheer kimono

Comfy and easy to wear. The fabric is like a sheer velvet burnout. The collar made it cozy with a shawl effect.

I preferred to wear this open, and unfortunately it's a bit awkward to do so.

The tie is fully separate and there are visible ties when you wear it open.

Strange fit

The fabric is quite heavy and the fit is very weird, it has 2 straps that really don't make sense. I did not wear this, fit was too weird. Thumbs down

Strange material

Runs a bit small, wore it open as a draped outer layer but fabric feels cheap. Is this shiny patchy velour with the floral print. A little too thick for summers....also a bit short for my torso!
