I got this for a wedding but it wasn’t the right color… The cut and ruffled layers of this dress make for a “dressed up” feel. There’s a bit of soft velvety texture that adds interest. The color is gold with white and green. Comfortable, easy going. Dressy. I wore it to a nice date night but felt a little overdressed. Be sure to pull the asymmetrical lining down on the left or it’ll feel itchy. Adjustable straps are a plus!!

The for was excellent. I used tape instead of formal undergarments abs the flow over the body and style was divine.

It fit well, not too tight or loose.

Dress is very unique and special! However it is very large on the trunk area so it doesn't look 100%. My friends wore it because it was huge on me! Also the dress has velvet details which you can't tell by the picture.

So, I read the reviews. And a lot of them disliked the length and structure of the dress. It's pretty unflattering and would make most body types look like an apple body type. Wanted to try the brand despite the reviews, so I wasn't surprised just a little disappointed. Don't waste your $$ and get something else!

Good fit and hangs rlly nicely on the body. Really fun to spin in. A little heavy.

I rented this for my mom and she looked beautiful in it, but decided not to wear it saying she felt it was too sexy/short for a wedding. The fact that the waist was not fitted was a feature she enjoyed - she's a little self conscious about her tummy.

I really liked the way this came out in the end, although I was skeptical at first. It definitely was a bit short on the hemline, but it wasn't a bit deal. I got compliments all night!

This dress is SUCH a cool piece, even though it fit like a horrible box in the waist, I wore it anyway because it is so unique and still beautiful. While I tend to have a little trouble with my bust being a different size than my waist, and I definitely think I sized up too much, but even had I sized appropriately, this dress would have left a LOT to be desired in the waist, I think. I didn’t fit in my initial rental and this was a last minute replacement; all in all, unique enough to distract from the cut, cool enough I would try this one again in a smaller size.

I chose this dress for walking around the French quarter in New Orleans, however the fabric makes it feel a little too formal. This dress did nothing for me.

The fabric is felt which I wasn't expecting but it's beautiful! The fit is def unique you need to be thin and tall or I don't think this could be flattering

It's a beautiful dress but, a bit too light for an evening fall wedding, which I need it for.

Rented this for a school assembly but didn't end up wearing. The long side was awkwardly long and the short side was VERY short. Didn't hug in the right places and draped awkwardly. I absolutely loved the color and the fabric (the velvet amazing) and really wished it would've worked.

This dress is NOT for you if you have even a hint of hips. The way the fabric gathers makes it extremely unflattering. On top of that, the short side is extremely short...like you will flash everyone if you move too fast short. Honestly save your money/spot for another dress

The was terrible, I cannot wear this out in public, very ill-fitting. The short side near the back is so short that your A$$ will show, The top half is equally as ill-fitting. It's too bad, other then that, the dress could have been perfect to wear out.

Fit was fine, although it did really make me want to work out my arms because the tiny straps were pretty unflattering! Aside from that, it actually fit rather loosely-- not in a bad way, but it also wasnt overly snug or anything like that

This dress runs a bit big, probably because there is no zipper to get in and out of it. You have to pull it over your head, the material was nice but I'm usually a 4-6, got the small and it was too big on me! Didn't get to wear it :(

Pretty print and cut is nice. The chest and abdomen area were far too loose. The length was too long even with a 5 inch heel which is unusual for me. I did not end up wearing it which was unfortunate b/c I really loved how it looked on the model and it is such a beautiful piece.

The pattern and cut were great. However, I was in the desert and didn't love the velvet burn out fabric. I also wasn't in love with the neckline I have a fairly flat chest and prefer something a bit more plunging. But I think it could work well on someone with a different figure.

too long for my 5 foot 2 inch height

I am getting use to Rent the Runway and picking styles that will work for me. I am 5'5" and know a lot of styles will be longer on me so I took a chance on this one. The reviews are right. The short side is short and I was uncomfortable with it. If you are shorter than me, the long side is going to be too long. Too bad. It is very pretty.

This is the strangest fitting dress I've ever gotten from RTR. The fabric isn't really stretchy but isn't stiff either and there's no zipper, so it kind of just hangs around the midsection. Pretty print/fabric but not flattering at all, so I returned. It might look good on someone tall who's straight and narrow!

beautifully dreamy fabric, but 2 stars because the dress is extremely short in the back due to the exaggerated asymmetrical hem (like butt cheek is totally out short), and the lining resembles an ill fitting loin cloth.

High-low style would not work on someone tall. I'm 5'8 and even if I would have worn this out if it hadn't been so baggy and shapeless in the middle, my butt would have been on full display with one gust of wind or trying to bend down/pick anything up. Velvet was a nice touch but probably only would work on thinner, shorter women.

I am 5'8" and the dress made me look short. The ruffle over the right side is really awkward and hits your hip in a way that made me look very large. Such a shame--the dress looks so cute in pictures. It doesn't elongate anyone
