I loved the style on line but was nervous that it would be too form fitting however, the fabric was forgiving and laid perfectly. It had just the right amount of stretch and was super comfortable. I got so many compliments.

I typically wear a 4, but the 6 in this fit perfectly. The 4 barely hit the floor while I was in my bare feet, so I sized up due to the length. I'm 5'4, wore 3 inch heels, and the 6 was a perfect fit. The chest is pretty revealing on the side, but I wore fashion tape and felt fine. I got a lot of compliments on this one. The clutch and bangles are also from RTR!

This dress was amazing and I felt amazing in it, especially when my husband's jaw dropped to the floor after he saw me all dressed up. I recieved so many compliments and was told I was the best dressed out of all the army wives. I felt like a million dollars in this dress. It stretched just enough where needed. I did need to wear spanx with this dress though and every small line from the spanx were clearly visible from the dress but it was not hard to make it appear as if it was just a wrinkle in the dress or a small fold.

I'm 5'11'', 145 lbs, usually wear 6, sometimes goes up to 8, depending on the brand. I got two sizes for this gown 6L and 8L. The 6L fits nicely. More over, it allows you to wear a NuBra inside. The geometrical cutting in the middle is slimming your waist. Overall, I'm really satisfied. The color, though, is actually silver like, not very white, not entirely the same as the catalogue picture. But it turns out to be looking good on pictures.

The dress is weird. It runs slightly large at the top, at least for me, and a little snug on the bottom. I had to wear a spank, but no bra. The dress had enough structure for me to feel comfortable without wearing one, though. The dress, also, has a slightly different color than depicted on the website. It's more of a gray than a tan. I was still very satisfied with it. And a note to taller women, the long isn't really THAT long. I had on a 3 inch heel (with no platform), and it was a little shorter than I expected.

This was my first RTR rental so I wasn't sure what to expect. My body shape is small on the top and larger towards the bottom, so the dress size I had to order was a 6R. My overall feeling about my purchase is just happiness. That night at my senior prom I received many compliments, so with that said I highly recommend you purchase something from RTR!

The dress fits to a tea. It is true to size dress. I normally wear a 0 or 2 and i could wear both but the 0 just fit better and looked a lot sleeker and this is a very sleek dress. The only thing I liked about the 2 more was that the dress was a little bit longer. The dress is surprisingly short, which you would not know on the model. So, if you want it to hit the floor get it LONG. In my case, i was at a club opening so the shorter was better, but if I wasn't I would have wanted it to hit the floor. Other than the shortness, the dress is elegant and sexy. People will love you in it. 100%,

Both sizes 2R and 3R were a little short.

I rented this dress as my backup for prom, and I'm really glad my other dress fit. The sides and back of this came down wayyy lower than I thought they would. The dress fit my body well, but in order to wear this I would've had to get a stick on bra and a different length. The dress was very awkwardly short, and barely hit the floor for me (and I'm short!!). I don't know if taller people would be able to wear this if the regular is so short on shorter people like me. I loved this dress in theory, but it wasn't suitable for my event.

This baby runs small. I usually wear a 0, and I didn't even end up wearing the 2 because I felt it was still too tight/showy for a military ball. I wore my back-up instead. It looks as though RTR has updated the color in the model photo, which now looks pretty true-to-life. The biggest challenge with this gown was undergarments. Since it runs small, I felt as if I MUST wear Spanx to even have a chance of pulling this off. I could wear a standard strapless bra, so long as a wore it pulled down low in the back. My underwire was relatively visible though, again because the dress is constrictive. I don't know how to rate this gown... it is a 5 for sure in terms of beauty- my hubby was impressed by how modern and sexy the neckline is. However, I give it a 3 in terms of ease of wear. It's not a throw-it-on-and-go gown.

had been reading a bunch of r.a. salvator in which the spellcaster Lady Alustrial and others wore beautifgul gowns.. described them to my husband and told him i wished i had one.. he rented this for me for my birthday.. was a very special day indeed!

I loved the cut and fit of this dress, but I wish I had gotten the long! It was a few inches too short (I wore 4.5 inch heels). Also, there is no way to wear any type of bra or pasties/petals. The dress is so tight and the material is so delicate I had to go braless, I tried 3 different types of "pasties" the silicon and the regular ones... they were all visible. I was a little self conscious about that all night, but I got a ton of compliments on the dress.

Unfortunately this dress didn't work out. The color was not cream, but tan, which is very unflattering on me because I am pale and blonde. The cut, which i thought would be unique, didn't fit me well. It made my boobs look really bad honestly. The fit of the dress was strange on me too. It made my butt look square. This dress did nothing for me and i was unable to wear it for my event. I would recomend this dress to someone with a smaller bust, olive to medium skin, and an athletic body type.

When I first tried it on, I hated it. I felt frumpy. But eventually I grew to love it. It hugs the body pretty well, so great shape wear may be needed. But it nice, unique and photographed beautifully.

Unique and beautiful dress. Substantive fabric was great as it wasn't too clingy and held its shape. The color can wash out fair skin. I'd suggest wearing your hair up to highlight the neckline.

This dress is so gorgeous. Even more beautiful in person. I wore a nubra with it and it was perfect! I did get the long so I could wear higher heels (4+). I am 5'6" so if you're taller I would suggest the long!!

The dress fits nicely, very flattering. It is absoluetly NECESSARY to have the right under garments like other people state. I recommend getting the dress a day or two earlier than you normally would so you can try it on and go shopping to buy something appropriate. The fabric is very thin so it will show your typical spanks/underwear lines/and cottage cheese if you have it. As far as fit, I am a 36B and the top portion fit a little losser than I would have liked. It didn't feel loose but when I would look in the mirror throughout the night I would notice you could see the top portion of my bra on the back just slightly, so i'd keep pulling it up in the back. If I had gotten the dress earlier and tried it on like i recommend, I would have purchased a strapless bra with a little bit of padding and that would have solved the problem completely. But all in all it was a beautiful dress, I got lots of compliments. I am 5'9", I wore 3 inch heels and the dress was the perfect length for me.

The sides of the dress definitely were a little tricky. Had to work some magic with the tape.

Modern alternative for a black tie function. This dress is very body con so I ended up ordering the 4R per a RTR stylist's recommendation (and she was right). The color is not white its actually a silver grey. Well tailored and beautiful on, but ended up wearing a different dress (gold strapless badgley mischka). The nu bra didn't work for me in this dress b/c the cut on top comes in too much and it stuck out (you need to wear the flower petals). I didn't wear this dress in part b/c I didn't have the flower petals. Dress was also long so would have needed at least 4 in heels. Still a really fun and different dress.

This dress is beautiful and is true to size in all but the length, should have ordered 0L, so I was not able to wear it!

I wore this to a wedding, and no one was wearing anything like it. The material is fairly heavy and doesn't move easily, but I still managed to have fun in it. It is, however, a challenging dress to wear for fuller chested ladies.

I ordered this dress in a 6L and even at 5'10'' the dress came to my ankles. I didn't end up wearing the dress but otherwise the fit was great and the dress was very comfortable.

This dress was surprisingly flattering for how tight it is. I am usually a 4 and this was very fitted to my body but "held" in everything. It smoothed all the necessary bumps for me. I ended up going with another dress so I do not know how this wears throughout the night, but I will say that when I tried this on I had MAJOR side boob. I was wearing it to a family function and it was just too revealing when it came to the side boob. I would wear this dress if I had somewhere else to wear it.

Nice fit & great fabric but my chest is way too big and they don't stay in the side of the dress. Same problem with both sizes that were sent to me.

Beautiful dress on, very fitted- definitely order a size up, if not for it being to short, I would not have been able to wear a bra with dress and with its light color would not have been appropriate for the event I was attending.

I received this dress as a backup dress for a wedding but I do think they sent me the incorrect size. I wanted the 2L but think I was sent the 2R as the dress hit me a couple of inches above the ankle! The fit everywhere else was great, but that short length would have looked silly with heels...Luckily my other dress worked so I did not have to return or exchange!

This was my first choice, but I ended up wearing my back-up (Halston Smooth Operator Sheath), because the cut of the top of this dress didn't work for my larger chest. The halter cuts in at the top pretty sharply, and would have meant that I was showing quite a bit of "side cleavage" which I felt was inappropriate for the school auction I was attended. If my chest was a little smaller, I would have thought it was awesome. It's definitely more of a silver than white, but still beautiful, just not for my shape.

I was unable to wear it, it was very large in the bust and too tight in the hips. it's not a good cut for a larger girl.

I didn't wear this dress because I did not like how broad it made my shoulders look. I loved the fit on my body; however, the dress looked a little cheap, and it was not appropriate for the event I was attending.

I was unable to wear this dress because of the length, it came up to my calf! The dress itself was beautiful and had a great cut at the top, really shows off toned shoulders. I would go a size up and make sure you get the long! Wish I could have worn it.

Unfortunately, even though the dress appears to be floor-length on the model, this dress was not long enough on me. I'm not extremely tall and figured the model who was potentially wearing heels was much taller than I. The dress fit perfectly in every other way except the length. I didn't have a readily available pair of flats or flat sandals that would work with this dress so I ended up choosing an option I dug out of my own closet. I intended to wear this dress with heels and that certainly was not possible! Just a heads-up!

I rented this dress to wear as a wedding dress for myself. The picture of the dress on the website is white but it is not white as described. It is more of a grayish color. I was very diappointed as I can't wear this dress for my wedding.

I thought this gown would be gorgeous for my body type (small chest, athletic shoulders and back). But it was weird and really short. There was awkward gapping at the top of the dress, and the 4L and 6L were both way too short (as in, did not hit the floor). Maybe a larger chest and shorter height would help? I'm not sure. The color and material were lovely. The reviewers with pictures look gorgeous, but I did not look good! But RTR was of course wonderful and gave me credit when I had to return it.

This dress was such a disappointment. I rented both the 4L and the 6L. The 4L was a perfect fit around my waist, BUT the fabric around the bust area is cut so shallow on the sides, I had some serious side boob going on and it wasn't comfortable at all. I felt like if I made one wrong move and I would be exposed. Maybe if you had a smaller bust and lots of fashion tape, it could work. The worst thing about the dress was the length. I am 5'8" and the 4L stopped just above my ankles. It was AWFUL and there was no salvaging it. The 6L just was too big all around and STILL too short even though it was hanging off of me. Sadly I couldn't wear either. Luckily I rented another dress and that dress was perfection.

I'm only 5'3" and I should have ordered the longer size. The shorter size showed my entire foot. Not so classy. Also it's made for someone with zero curves. It's too tight around the hips and baggy up top. And I weigh 110lbs, so I can't imagine who it WOULD fit correctly. A stick, apparently. So, I obviously couldn't wear it.
