This dress is unlike any other ones I rented!
I really liked how elegant and unique this dress is. It is perfect for a black tie or company formal. The flowy material and the cut made it very comfortable but the belt felt a bit snug. You can easily wear it without the belt though.

The dress was beautiful but ran extremely small.
This dress is very pretty and a nice silk material. Unfortunately it runs extremely small; the belt allows you to drape as needed to better fit in length and width, but the slit up the left side comes up very high, making it difficult the drape the fabric more than an extra inch or two. I typically wear a size 2/4, and the size 8 was still tight through the thighs and hips. I would recommend ordering at least two sizes up and probably a back up. All in all, it's a very neat style and the cape really sets it apart!

Cool gown option!
This is a perfect gown if you're looking for something different. Cool cape-like detail at the back and a black belt for some added interest. One note though, this gown is VERY small. I'm normally a 4 and wore a 6 - and it was still tight in the hips (but I am a pear). So cool though!

Tight around the hips
I wore this for a 60s-themed formal event. The dress ran a little tight around the hips (but then my hips are proportionally larger than my shoulders/chest, so that's normal), so I wore the 2L, which was still a bit tight. It was *very* long and I kept stepping on the back; I fixed this by putting the cape part under the belt and looping it out a bit so it draped over the belt. The slit was rather high, which I thought nicely evened out the rather conservative neckline. It was a great dress.

Elegant
The dress is very elegant. The crepe flows beautifully. The cape is black which adds a sophisticated contrast to the lovely dark blue and allows for easy accessorizing with a black bag and shoes. The dress was perfect for a NYC black tie event that had some professional connections. I am usually a size 6, but it runs straight and slim and the fabric is not stretchy, so the 8L was perfect with heels at my height.

The slit and the cape back were very unique and I got tons of compliments. It made a great statement
I wear a size 0 in Halston Heritage so I bought the dress in a size 0R. The 0R ended up being too small so I rented the 2L hoping that it would not be too long. It fit perfectly and was just the right length to be worn with heels.

A Great Canvas Dress for Awesome Accessories
I ordered this dress as backup for a black tie event. Although it's really slick and chic, it was a little too tight on my hips. I'm typically a 2-4 because of my small waist, but I do have hips. I probably would've worn this dress in a size 8 and used the belt to sinch it in. And topped it off with big chunky jewelry and maybe a statement belt.

Uniqueness
The pros - Sleek design made it a very unique dress. I like unconventional style and this dress did that without being over the top. The cons - One must be tall. I wore 4" heels with a slight platform and the dress still touched the floor. I put in the criteria section "petit" and this dress lists. And I think it only comes in long. So if you are shorter than 5'4" (I'm 5' 31/2") you will have to hold it up from the back when you walk.

The dress was beautiful and the most luxurious fabric but unfortunately ran too small in the hips.
I have never been described as "hourglass" or "hippy" but unfortunately this dress did not fit over my hips and lack of a rear end.

I ended up not wearing this dress because the fit was too small. Very pretty though
Pretty but it runs small. I usually wear a 6 but this fit too tight.

One of my favorite rentals!
I rented this dress for a birthday dinner and absolutely loved how it fit. It was demure yet sexy in all the right places, especially the thigh-high slit!
