I was looking for a fabulous red dress to change into for my wedding reception-- and was completely overwhelmed by how perfect this dress was! It fit beautifully and I loved how you can alter the back any way you like. I have no chest, but it made me look sexy and curvy. I was hoping to find a long, flowy, glam-but-bohemian dress to dance the night away in and this was just right. I wish I could have kept it forever!

I loved this dress so much! I wore it for my senior prom, and felt great in it. I was worried about it being too short, but given that I was planning on wearing sandals, it worked out just fine. the back is very cool, because you can tie it any way you'd like. They are pockets at the hip, which is taped down (or else they puckered a bit). The material was light and soft and it was very comfortable to move around in. I received compliments all throughout the night. Note that the color is more red and pink in person, but its not tack pink. Would rent it again if I could!

This dress fit perfectly! I didn't even have to wear heels with it and I'm 5'4. I also have a small chest but the adjustable straps made it easy to shape it to my body. The color and everything was exactly the way I imagined it to be. I got so many compliments on it also. RTR's customer service is also perfect and I will definitely rent from them again!

Loved the fit of this dress. The top was amazing and the open back was gorgeous. The rest of the dressy was flowy and I really loved the colors. You can twist the front and back different ways.

This dress was beautiful, comfy, and just right for my senior prom. It's been awhile since the event, but I finally decided to write a review. I highly recommend it! I think one of the big plusses about this dress is how adjustable the top is. You can make it more conservative or revealing if you want to.

This dress was stunning, I got a million compliments on it. It fit perfectly, and for a smaller girl with large breasts, it was all too flattering. Normally, dresses are hard for me to find in the right top size and length, but this dress really did the trick. I felt like a super model, and I definitely recommend renting it!

I don't think I have ever gotten so many compliments in my life wearing this dress. I wore it to a black tie optional wedding, and was stopped by so many people, including strangers on the street. The color is fabulous and looks great with a summer glow. The back is the showstopper - it is just stunning and if you have longer hair, you must wear your hair up to show it off. As soon as you can figure out how to get in the gown (all the straps were a little confusing), you can adjust it to fit better in the top. It takes some patience to get it right. I think this would work great with pretty much any bust size, though you can't wear a bra so if you can't go out without one, this isn't the dress for you. I have a tiny waist but bigger hips and it complemented my figure flawlessly. I ordered the 2R, I technically should have ordered the 2L, because I put it on and realized I couldn't wear heels with it. But that gave me a reason to buy a new pair of shoes and I got a gorgeous pair of gold grecian type sandals that were perfect, especially for dancing the night away. My husband requested that I get this dress for our next wedding we go to, he loved it that much. I HIGHLY recommend it! I totally forgot to take a full length picture, i'm sad for that, especially not having the back.

This dress was very beautiful and I loved wearing it! The top is similar to the infinity dress tops, there's a variety of ways you can wrap them. The neckline can be deep or conservative. I did use fashion tap to keep everything in place, and I also had to maintain a good posture for the evening! ;) Tons of compliments, upon which I credited Rent the Runway. I am 5'7 and wore 2 " heels, keeping the hem just at floor level. The top is very adjustable. My bust is small, and the dress gives the illusion of some boobs, without having to wear a bra. The back of the dress is very sexy and elegant. I had to steam the dress, as it was delivered wrinkled. Great rental! Very happy!

I wore this dress to the American Red Cross Gala in SF. Most women wear red, floor length gowns for this special event. I wanted to wear a red gown but I was looking for something that would make more of a statement and stand out in a sea of red dresses. This dress certainly did the trick! I received many compliments and the dress was featured in SF Magazine (picture attached). Regarding the sizing, I ordered size 2 and 4. I wore the 2 but it was a little big -- wished I had requested a size zero. The length was perfect with four inch heels. The down side of this dress is that it is high maintenance, ladies ... here's why: 1) If you need any kind of support for your boobies (I do - c cup) it's not easy to find a backless, strapless bra that does the trick. 2) You will need to use double sided tape to make sure your breasts aren't exposed. 3) If you are single and sans roommates, you may need a friend to help you get into the dress. Seriously. Perhaps it was because it was a little big, but I needed assistance pulling up the halter (so I was respectfully covered and somewhat supported) and also keeping the pink tie tight while I struggled to crisscross and wrap the pink tie around my waist. Ha! Once I was strapped in though, no adjustments were needed the rest of the night. Yay!

Absolutely loved this dress, it was exactly what I was looking for when I was shopping for a prom dress last spring. I had actually seen the dress in multiple catalogues when it came out for the season and wished I could drop $600 on a prom dress, and after coming up empty at countless stores, RTR made it happen. I wore the 6R, I really needed the 6L for my height if I wanted to wear heels, but it wasn't available so I compromised and found the perfect pair of flat sandals to match the dress and it was a great length for that. I got tons of compliments all night. The biggest problem I had was that when the dress arrived, the fabric of sash that ties around your neck as the halter had separated (probably from wear because the material is so delicate), but I was able to bring it to my tailor and was reimbursed by RTR. I wore a sticky bra and used a good amount of fashion tape around the top to make sure everything was in place, but you might not need to much if you are fuller chested.

Fit perfectly - I am a bit bustier up top so I ended up with the 6 the 4 was a bit too tight. The dress was extremely long so really high heels are a must (I'm 5'7) - the only warning - Be cautious of your jewelry - I was sporting a gold cuff that had some detailing on the top of it - the material on the dress caught it and almost ripped. I ended up not wearing the cuff for fear that I would destroy the fabric so choose accessories that won't pick at the dress.

PROS: extremely easy rental/return process. I appreciated the emails that alerted me when the dress was shipped and when it would arrive. The material is very light and airy and feels wonderful on. I think this dress would be flattering on any figure! CONS: the back-up dress I received was ripped/damaged - I noticed it as soon as I took the dress out of the box and wondered why RTR did not. I called customer service to notify them (and so I wouldnt be held responsible for the damage!) and they were very sympathetic; the 2R fit perfectly, but there was a noticable repair that was made to the dress in back. There was also a very big difference in the hemline of both dresses, which made me think that other repairs to the hemline had been made to the 2R. I also removed 50+ pulls/threads from the 2R before wearing it. OVERALL: Happy with my experience and would use RTR again, but a little disappointed that both dresses had damage/noticable repairs (I was concerned that others would notice them, too).

I fell in love with this dress on RTR and had to have it for my friend's wedding! I am familiar with the infinity dresses so I knew I could tie the panels in many different ways. I choose to do the rope style back and I got many compliments! I am 5"11 and the 4L was almost perfect - I could have used another inch or two on length and I wore 2 3/4" heels. The bust area was a little big, but it worked out. See pics!

The dress looks exactly the same online as it did in person. (which is a good thing!) I rented the dress for a black tie wedding in the Bahamas and it was perfect. It was easy to dance in and I got lots of compliments. I am 5'1 - I ordered the 0R. The dress was a bit long but I wore my highest heels and it was fine. The only negative about the experience is that Rent the Runway is really hard to get in touch with. When I had questions no one respond via email OR phone. RTR - you need to hire more customer service representatives! :)

I usually wear a 4 and the dress fit great! I loved the color and the open back was just enough sexy. The only complaint I have is that the chiffon didn't always cover the lining on the front bottom of the dress.

I rented this dress and requested it in the 10L, as my original size, and the 12L as the extra size. A few weeks before the scheduled event, RTR let me know that they no longer had the 10L but would still send me the 12L, along with another dress of my choice since they were unable to provide what I was orginally promised. As expected it was just too big up top, but I wore it anyway and made it work for the rehearsal dinner. (I went with my second choice that had the better fit for the actual wedding). It was mostly fine, my main issue was the way the light pink on the top would lay--it just never looked right, and that's just because it wasn't a proper fit more than likely. I loved the back of the dress (very versitle), the length, and the colors. And if I would have gotten it in the 10L or possibly even in the 8L, I am sure I would have been completely satisfied.

This is my favorite dress I've worn. The styling on the photo isn't quite right, in person the dress is so much better. I loved it so much that I ended up buying it.

Make sure to wear a backless bra and 1.5 to 2 inch heels. If you are the type to change into flip flops as the night goes on, make sure they are wedges so you don't drag the hem on the floor.

Generous size. Regular length fit five ft seven inches with flat sandals. Wore to southern tent evening wedding. Got noticed by everyone. Dressed down with bamboo accessories. Love it and lots of room to play with strap design and coverage. Needed the 12. But the size 10 worked fine with spans and creative strap and fashion tape use. A summer event must rent!

It fit great and I loved how the top was adjustable. It is very loose and comfortable, and would be great for a beach wedding. The only problem was that the pockets stuck out.

The color of this dress is beautiful and I liked the "hang" and fit of the skirt. I am 5'11 and the long was perfect. The tie/belt is very versatile, tie in front or back. Beware though, the back is very low cut as in impossible to wear a bra with this. Overall, great dress.

I wore this dress for a wedding and you would not believe how many compliments I received. The dress is gorgeous and very flattering. I found it to run a little big-the 0L would have been perfect but the 2L still worked. You really can't wear a bra with it because it is backless and has a plunging neckline but I used double sided tape (that RTR provided) and it worked perfectly. I highly recommend renting this dress, it is stunning. My girlfriends all can not wait to try Rent the Runway!!

I wore this dress for a Mardi Gras debutant ball. It fit so well and looked awesome! I got so many compliments. The low back was my favorite part of the dress. The material and color was great for spring.

This dress was beautiful. Fits true to size, and is very comfortable. The color is great, and just as vibrant as in the picture. I highly recommend it.

I wore this to a black tie 21st birthday and LOVED it. It does run a little large in the bust, and I am very busty (36D). Otherwise, the color was absolutely stunning and it made me look like a goddess. VERY sexy.

I rented the 4L even though I am usually a 6 since the reviews stated that it run large. It was a tad too small, so I didn't get to wear it but It would have been gorgeous. Next time, I would stick to my true size, but I am a straight figure. Someone with a fairly narrow waist would need to go down from their usual size, I think. Hope this helps!

The 0R fit perfectly and I wore 3 1/2 inch heels, anything shorter would have made the dress too long. It is nice and adjustable. Double sided tape is a must for the top and you can not wear a bra with it which was not really a problem due to the fit and material. There was a small tear that was repaired on the front of the dress which was disappointing, but because of the material it was not noticeable. There were also many snags in the material but once again, not really noticeable and it was easy to just cut the loose threads. The second size they sent had damage too that would have made the belt difficult to stay in place but luckily I did not need that dress. I would highly recommend this dress still despite the minor damages!

The dress fit true to size for me and the colors were amazing. I don't think I picked the right dress for my body specifically, but I loved it so much anyway. If you're slim and fit (big busted or not) this dress will look amazing on you!

This is a beautiful dress - comfortable, sexy, bright. Great if you want to stand out You can can creative with the fabric when tying it. I wound up wearing my original choice (this was my back-up dress) only because the other choice was a bit more formal. This would be great for an outdoor/summer wedding or affair.

It was a little large in the chest area, but otherwise looked great.

The dress is beautiful, you can't tell as much from the photo but the fabric has a red lining; in the photo it appears all one length but in person it was shorter in front so the red lining has several visible inches. The top was very loose no matter how I adjusted the straps and did NOT fit the way the model's dress fits although she and I have the same body type. The cups sort of blouse out at the edges instead of laying against your skin, at least on the dress I got, which was not flattering.

I love the color of the dress and it looked great with my skin tone and turquoise jewelry, but the fit was off. Because of the way that the waist band and top straps are connected it was really hard to tie it in a way the held everything together and stayed. It just ended up looking a bit saggy. Also it was a bit short on me, but considering I'm 5'11'' thats to be expected though I even wore flats.

I ended up not wearing this dress as I feel you need to have a fuller bust to fill out the top well. It gaped in areas for me and I am a 32C. Definitely need double-side tape for the front as well. It is a comfortable dress and a beautiful color, but I ended up wearing another RTR dress. The lining peeks out of the outer layer about an 1.5" all around, not sure if that was the way it was supposed to be, as it just didn't look quite right.

Nice dress. However, it arrived super wrinkled and even with some steam it hard to dewrinkle. I feel like you need some boobs to fill in this dress but the front of the dress definitely need double sided tape. I wanted to wear it but felt I would be flashing people all night.

I didn't end up wearing this dress. The dress was too short and added too much poof over my hips, which was not flattering. It would be nice for someone who isn't curvy or who wants to look curvier! The dress is very light weight, and would be perfect for an outdoor, summer affair.

Overall, I love the site and idea of renting a dress. However, this particular dress did not fit. It was a beautiful dress and would have loved to wear it to the party, but I had to borrow from a friend. I tried to call to let a representative know that the dresses did not fit, but I waited on hold for almost a half hour before hanging up. I guess I thought that the office was closed for weekend. I read somewhere on the site that if the dress did not fit, we could get credit to rent a dress later. I would love to use the site for future events.

Dress arrived and it was kind of a mess - tangled and held together in one part by a safety pin. I loved my other dress so I didn't eeven try this one on. Can't say I'd recommend...

The dress fit well except there are pockets. I would normally find this a lovely feature in a dress, however the pockets were bunchy and caused the dress to ride up. If you have hips be warned. If the dress didn't have pockets it would have fit perfectly. Ultimately I didn't wear the dress :(
