For my first RTR experience, this dress knocked it out of the ballpark. I tend to wear a size 10 or 12, and the 12 fit like a dream-- and in a very flattering way, for a girl with curves. The stylist sizing suggestions were spot-on as the hips are very fitted. The bust was an absolute wonder-- a secure, comfortable fit that did not require adjusting *at all* over the course of the evening. I received compliments throughout the day (it was an afternoon wedding) and I felt like a million bucks. The colors are gorgeous, and the dress hits just above the knee-- again, flattering for someone with thighs they'd rather not draw attention to. Would certainly rent again!

The dress was extremely comfortable, but it fit very strangely. I typically wear a 0 and had to wear the 2 because the draping on the 0 looked really strange. The dress was tight in the chest and butt. It is not fitted at the waist, but if you go up a size it drapes really pretty.

This was a plan B option for a wedding this past weekend. I ended up wearing it to a nice dinner the night prior and loved it. It was beautiful yet comfortable and casual. I dressed it down with flip flops and minimal jewelry.

For me, the twist-knot neckline just didn't work or do anything remotely flattering for me. I think the person that should wear this should have a shorter neckline-torso ratio/proportion so it doesn't feel giraffe-y on top. The print is beautiful and I think I would wear this to a Summer clam bake or something a little more laid-back.

"Stunning" "Gorgeous" "Beautiful". These were the words used by others at the event when commenting on this dress and how I looked. Dress was awesome. Loved the look and the material. I am a size 10 and rented an 8 and a 12 (no 10 was available) I ended up wearing the 12 with no problem although the 10 would have probably fit better. Another rent the runway homerun!

I LOVE this dress. I have a small chest and wide hips. This dress is extremely flattering for a pear shaped body type. It accentuates smaller chests really well! I got a million compliments on the dress. It is very fitted, so I would definitely suggest choosing a size larger for your second size. It is baggy in the stomach area, but fitted at the hips and thighes. And it does not fall down at all...you will not have to keep pulling this dress up all day long. It is the best strapless dress I have ever worn. I didn't want to return it :(

I did not want to take this dress off! It was gorgeous. Yet, so comfortable. I felt exotic and beautiful, like I could wear this on a romantic trip to an island somewhere. I wanted to keep it!

I loved this dress!!! I got so many compliments on it. The only problem was that it was really tight in the chest. I usually wear a size 4 it was very tight and im a A cup!

I wore the Bahama Mama dress for my sister's bridal shower, and I received many compliments. The color and fabric are gorgeous and very high in quality. This dress fit beautifully. I might recommend against this dress for curvier girls, though.

LOVED this dress! It broke my heart to put it in the mailbox yesterday :( I'm small busted but with average hips so "hourglass" my be pushing it. Maybe I'm more athletic? I never know what box to check lol. I'm 5'8" 120 lbs (+/- a few depending on the day!) and I carry most of my weight in my hips and thighs. That being said, I was able to wear the 0 without any hip tightness. But the dress! I wore it for law school graduation and it was perfect. The dress was so comfortable for being strapless. Being fully lined, I felt completely comfortable taking pictures in the sunlight. Oh, and the color was PERFECT (especially since purple is the color of law). The colorful detail made finding the perfect shoes super easy, too.

This was such a fun dress to wear. It ran true to size and was very comfortable. I'd rent it again!

Very cute dress. I wear either a 6 or 8 typically. In this dress I wore the 8. I am 5'10, straight figure with a D chest, 135 lb. This was comfortable to wear.

Easy breezy. Perfect for a trip to the beach and flattering for a larger chest. I would not recommend for larger hipped ladies.

Beautiful dress but was a little tight in the chest area where I have a little more muscle tone.

I loved the colors of this dress! It was flowy, silky, and perfect for a destination wedding. My only qualm about it was that it kept rolling down in the front and revealing the black sticky lining that was supposed to be sticking to me!

I agree with the other reviews - if you have bigger hips or a bigger butt I'd look for another style. It just runs a bit tight in those areas.

this dree did not fit me right- it was little tight on the top and it did not do anything for my waist line- I think you need to be very thin and tall to pull it off. It is a pretty dress through

I rented this for a day time summer party. I'm usually between 10 & 12, but not in this dress. The color was vibrant and perfect for summer. The lining of the dress was too tight around my bottom and made for a very awkward fit. The bottom of the zipper also stuck straight out and it was too tight around my bust. Sadly, it did not work for me at all, so I sent it back.

I got this dress, and ended up wearing the back up. I was disappointed that it was a little baggy, and that the fabric was joined in the front and so it had a weird line down the middle of the dress. The material was nice, but it just didn't fit/look the way it seems.

Unfortunately, this dress was indeed too snug in the hip area to drape properly. I have been a size 0 or 2 for years so I was surprised at the fit.

This dress looks great on the model on RTR, but did not impress me at all once delivered. I usually wear a size 4 and ordered the 4 and 6 and tried both on. The four i could fit into standing up, but I wasn't able to sit down without making adjustments and being very careful for fear of ripping the lining. The 6 fit me much better in the hips, but was too big in the bust so it would crinkle up in odd spots that was just not flattering. This is definitely not a dress for a pear shaped woman. The length was great for a tall person, but there is no give in the hip area at all. I ultimately returned both sizes.

Beautiful fabric but very strange fit. Did not work at all for me. I'm a size 2, C cup - Not the right dress for me.

I ordered this dress thinking it was going to be great. Sadly it was very tight around the hips and thighs. I suggest sizing up in this.

Definitely disappointed with this dress. If you have hips at all, order larger than you normally would. I ordered my normal size, plus the size above me and it barely fit. It didn't look good, so I returned it immediately and had to go with Plan B for a wedding I was attending. Also, I am small-busted and the top was even snug.

I am not large-chested, but couldn't get it zipped up over the chest; the hips are really baggy and the dress does a strange pooch where the fabric gathers in front, right around the belly. Think this dress would be great if you're pregnant and just starting to show.

I rented sizes 0 & 2 and couldn't even zip the 2 up! In most normal (non-designer) dresses those sizes always work for me. If you have any sort of hips I do not suggest trying this dress, overall I was very disappointed. So happy that RTR took it back and gave me full merchandise credit!
