Comfortable and pretty for work
I sit behind a desk most of the day, so the high(er) slit wasn't a problem. There is a pocket on one side of the skirt which is random but useful. It's lightweight so better in a warmer climate.

Sexy summer skirt
Rented for work but didn't realize that the side slit goes up so high. I had to safety pin it but it still looked nice. Great drape and design. Light and airy for summer.

I tried to wear it to office... That slit is real. There is no camouflaging it.

Good for work
The slit on the side made this skirt almost inappropriate for work. It is a nice piece for work otherwise.

Beware! High slit!
I was really excited about getting this skirt, as I loved the pattern. However, I didn't look at the reviews beforehand, and found out first hand that the slit is no joke. When I sat down, my whole leg was exposed, so I sort of had to tuck the front of the skirt around my leg to avoid flashing my coworkers. The fabric is also lighter than I expected.

The slit is def no joke
Gorgeous pattern, beautiful cut. But that slit goes so high I was bringing a scarf to cover my legs at every meeting. And even standing I️t was fairly pronounced. Maybe 1 size up would make I️t less of an issue but then the waist & length would have been off...if you have very narrow hips this would probably fit better! If the lining underneath went down further I'd have felt significantly more comfortable.

Love the pattern
The skirt was too big to be tight at the waste so I had to pin it for it to work. The slit was pretty high and the skirt was a little long. Overall didnt work in this size for me very well.

Slit.. yikes.
First let me say the print and texture of this dress is beautiful.. but i rented this as a work refresher, and unfortunately I probably could have had some side eyes if i would have worn it. The slit goes up very high. NSFW for sure.

I wore this to a baby shower. The slit gets a little show-y when sitting, but a napkin was an easy solve.

Beautiful skirt, lined fabric, very flattering, and hits just right at the knee. The only drawback is the slit, which goes high enough that you need to sit carefully. Was great for a work event at which I had to walk on stage.

Perfect combo of stylish and sexy
This skirt is great, BUT I didn't realize how high the slit goes. So I wore it to the office and just tried not to sit down so I wouldn't show my co-workers my religion. haha! If you work in a fashionable office that isn't too stuffy or "professional", you could totally wear this to work. Beautiful skirt.

Beautiful skirt! Very lightweight and I love the pattern. It fit perfectly too. HOWEVER, the slit was quite high and I had to be careful at work. The material is also very silky so it shows every line and wrinkle underneath.

Fun and Sexy spring skirt with trendy slit up the thigh. Great for vacation, weekend or brunch!
I rented this for work, I loved the print, but I didn't realize how high the slit on the thigh ran. So it turned into a weekend/evening piece. Sexy and fun

Beautiful print for work skirt
This is a light-weight skirt with a beautiful print . . . and a high slit. The slit was a bit difficult for work. I had to be pretty careful not to show too much leg. The skirt was beautiful, but the waist wasn't super flattering with my slight mommy tummy. Overall, it's a good skirt, not amazing, but a solid find.

Rented for work - the slit is way to high so I wore with tights ... even then too high!
Rented for work - the slit is way to high so I wore with tights ... even then too high! Very cute though for a night out. I typically wear a 4 in skirts and I wore a 2 and may have fit in a 0 - runs very large. If you want it to be high wasted I would size down 1 or 2 whole sizes.

Pretty pattern, but didn't love it
This skirt was... OK. The pattern is very pretty, and I received a few compliments on it. The material is thin, and the fit wasn't too close (I actually prefer something billed as a pencil skirt to be a bit closer fitting). It fell a bit past my knees (I'm 5'4"), which is not my preferred length for a skirt. There is a short lining in it, and a very high side slit. I generally don't object to showing a bit of leg, but I thought the slit was too high, since the lining kept showing and I was having to constantly adjust the skirt when sitting down since it showed off too much leg. It was an adequate work skirt, but I don't think I'll be renting it again.

The slit is high, but the pattern's cute!
As others have said, the slit on this skirt is a little high for work, although I am short and managed it. I will also add that the material is a little thick for winter. I wrote it two ways: without tights, but with boots; and with tights and heels. It actually looked a bit more revealing with the tights, for some reason. That said, the pattern is beautiful and the fit is true to size. The slit is lined, so it's unlikely you'll show the world too much, and it adds a real kick of fashionableness to a regular work outfit.

Wish I sized down. Also was unflattering in the midsection: made me look very bloated. Maybe would have been better if it was tighter/smaller size.

Confused by the design of this skirt
I typically love pencil skirts. But there is way too much going on with this skirt. The fit was good. There is a very high slit so be careful if you are wearing this to a conservative work place. They put a small liner under the slit that shows when you walk. It's better than your undergarment showing but looks silly. There is a pocket on one side and the draping is not flattering and not symmetrical. Then there are 2 fake pockets in the back. Any one of these design items would be fine. But all of them are too much for the skirt and confusing.
