I rented a 6 and an 8, the 8 fit better. If you are bigger chested it will be tight but without a bra it fit awesome. Very flattering look all around and received compliments all night

This dress is absolutely stunning. I received so many compliments when wearing this! It is not as sheer as the photos look, especially while inside and at night. I am 5 foot 4 inches and wore the regular length, it was perfect. The dress has a double closure so there is a zipper to close the inside then a zipper to close the outside. Honestly, I would buy this dress for every formal event in my future if I could!

I love this dress so so much. I ended up swapping out for a smaller size (got a 0 at the store though I'm usually a 2) so it would stay on tight without a bra. It's super flattering too with all of the structure in this dress.

I rarely pick strapless dresses because I feel like I am tugging them up all night. However, this one is snug in a good way, and stayed up through dancing with only a tug here and there. The 0R fit perfectly on top, and was just above the floor when I was wearing a moderate heel. I noticed after the event when comparing it to my back up size that the hem had been let out on this dress, so it was a good 4-5 inches longer than it should have been! If it had the original hem, it would have been way too short for me. For reference, I am a bit over 5’7”, 120 lbs, and a 32b. The dress is heavy because of the skirt fabric. I loved the dress! The skirt was such a great fabric with the slightly sheer aspect that kicked it up without being too risqué for a work party. I felt great and got lots of compliments. First rent the runway and I would definitely do it again. Super easy to pick up and return!!

The skirt was beautiful and thick! I am 5'8 are wore a 2in heel and the 4R fell just a little above the floor. I feel like the 4L may have been a better fit. Overall, the dress was classy, clean, and perfect for a winter formal event.

I. LOVE. THIS. DRESS. It fits beautifully, totally hiding my problem area (the tummy). It fits pretty true to size, but the top was a bit big. Because of the double zipper it wasn't a problem and didn't slip very much throughout the night. The see through part isn't AS see through as on the model, but it is still noticeable and makes this dress a little bit cooler than just your typical black gown. I wore this for a black tie wedding, and got A TON of compliments! I had just had surgery on my face, and had a super noticeable scar, but everyone was looking at my dress instead! It really made me feel beautiful. 12/10 recommend!!

Halston has the inner additional zipper that really hugs your bust. Keeps the dress up all night. No tugging or adjusting. And the "see through" skirt was breezy and comfortable without being risqué. Loved it and received lots of compliments!

I wore this dress for our family photo. I am normally a size 4, but wore this dress in a 2 and it fit like a glove. I have a very small chest and I'm always worried about strapless dresses falling down, but this one was tight and I didn't have to worry about it for a second. Length was perfect with 3 in heels. It was heavy, but it's because the material was so luxurious. The bottom of the dress wasn't as see thru as I thought would be in pictures. I loved the dress!

It was a bit long, but I'm 5'2 so I'm sure it will be fine for most! I received a lot of compliments on this dress, I would highly recommend.

The uniqueness of this gown made it a winner. The double corset held the girls in well and there was no need for a strapless bra even as a 36D. Amazing! I was even asked to take a photo with a woman I didn't know because she loved the gown. The sheer skirt made it super edgey while still elegant. I didn't want to take it off!

Great fit for an hourglass and busty figure. No need for a bra due to the built in boning. Very comfortable but a little long. If you’re short like me you’ll definitely need to wear heels.

True to size very comfortable

The doubling lining in the bust held everything in place and I didn't adjust my dress once the whole night! The shirt lining inside still allows you to dance and the way the dress moves is poetry in motion. I'm short-waisted, so the cut of the dress was perfect for me. Very heavy fabric, but feels expensive. Literally my fav piece I've ever gotten from RTR.

This dress was amazing! It was snug up top because I am a 36DD, but I could still breathe. Held everything together. The gown was slightly off the ground with my heels on, I was afraid a 'R' would be too short since I am 5'9", but it was perfect. You could see the sheerness in certain lighting. Felt like a princess and got so many complements!

Rented this dress because I had a formal affair that started at 4 pm and wouldn't end till late. This dress is heavy and holds up. Very formal. The detail of the gown really sets it apart.

This dress was a dream!! It was very comfortable and I received so many compliments! It was a little big, but that was my fault. I called to see if I could get a smaller size, and they were happy to overnight a size 6. It would have been too long, so I stayed with the 8. The girls were lovely to chat with and were incredibly helpful!! I'll only use RTR from now on!! Thank you!!

The dress soft really well. I loved the shear detail in the skirt! Overall this was a great dress and I would rent it again!

I had ordered some other dresses that had some issues with length. RTR send out this dress as the replacement overnight. I selected the 14L because I was nervous on the length. It was too long but still looked beautiful. The sheerness isn't as sheer as the photo. The material was very good quality and didn't wrinkle when sitting.

Stayed put really nicely. Looks so nice in person! The metal boning of my dress was broken and stuck out and it really pinched all night. Otherwise it was perfect.

The top fit well and had plenty of support even though I have a large bust. Was great for dancing the night away. I would definitely rent this again.

I am 5'2", 125 lbs with a pear shape and rented a 2R. This dress fit my torso very well and minimized the size of my hips. I would definitely rent it again.

This dress is amazing! I wore it to a black tie wedding on Memorial Day weekend. Fit perfectly everywhere. I didn't need to pull it up at all during the night. It is long, but I wore small heels and it didn't drag too much. It was a fun rental and I would rent again for another event!

Fit well and I wore the size I had expected I knew a regular would be too short on me but the long was perfect even in about 4" heels. The bodice was a little too big and had to keep an eye on it all night but if you have a medium bust it won't be an issue! It was perfect and the fabric was super nice! Recommend

The dress fit true to size however the girls were definitely snug as a bug. If you have a larger chest you will not be able to wear a bra.

I rented this for a formal Gala. It was comfortable and beautiful!

If you're small in the ribcage area, size down. I am normally a 6-8 in dresses but my rib cage is my smallest area. The dress is heavy so you will want a firm fit in the top so it doesnt slide down. But beautiful gown!

Lovely dress, if a bit long. I wore the size 2, am normally a size 4. The sheerness of the skirt is subtle, and the fabric has a good tooth to it, so it didn't feel flimsy. Also has a built in bra, so it stayed up well, even with all the dancing.

This dress fit well and looked great. It is not as sheer as the photo looked online. The dress was missing the back glasp but still stayed up without it. I have DD boobs and was able to feel comfortable all bight without a bra.

I loved the structure of the gown! It was made very well. It was heavy but the heaviness matched the look of the dress. As someone else mentioned you couldn't really see through the mesh as shown on the model but it was still beautiful! Classic with a little something extra.
