The dress fit great for being 38 weeks pregnant. I have birth two days later!

I was 38 weeks pregnant. I usually wear a 4r and ordered a size up after reading it ran big. It did, and fit perfect. The material had stretch and was very comfortable. This dress runs short though. I wore flats which was fine since I was pregnant but I would order a longer size if you want to wear heels. I weighed around 150 at this time and had 32C bust.

Loved this dress!!

It fits great! The only thing is you cannot wear very tall heels. I am 5'5" and it hit the ground perfect. My heels were only about 1.5" tall. Also, be careful with the fabric. Any condensation from a drink or anything will leave a mark. Otherwise, fantastic dress!

I felt so regal! It was comfortable but the sash was a little confusing. Overall I was very happy with it.

I stood out from all the other girls, in a great way. Had a chic and unique look that no one else had!

Dress was such a hit! It was very comfortable and everyone complimented it all evening. It is a bronze color, not as gold as pictured, but photographed beautifully. I am 5'6" and the regular length just barely touched the floor when I was barefoot. If your wearing a heel I recommened the longer length!

Red Carpet Ready

This dress was gorgeous. I felt like in Hollywood's red carpet. The dress was darker than the picture. The belt was rather confusing, but I figured it out. Fit was true to size in my opinion. Really comfy too!

walking into the party, all of my boys were blown away. i think my favorite compliment of the night came when my friend andrew walked up to me at the bar and whispered "quit stealing things from my closet" into my ear.

absolutely loved this dress and felt like a queen bee on NYE. i wish i would have booked it earlier because at 5'8", i probably could have used a 6L. but whatever, it was super comfortable and though not at all gold, the brownish/bronze color probably looked better on me anyway.

dancing the night away in my golden gown!

This dress is in no way the color pictured. It's bronze as the other girls have said, and I lucked out: pale, red-head, this bronze thing works, but it isn't the fair gold you see here. That said, the dress is a knock-out. Wore it to a black tie wedding and got tons of compliments. Heed the length warning- I ordered a 2R and 2L and was glad I did. The R had my feet hanging out. The L was a little long with a 3 inch heel, but very good. Suggest a nude shoe for anyone looking for a recommendation.

GLAM!

It was incredibly comfortable. I loved wearing it! I would totally get it again! It seemed a little darker in real life than the photo. But still really great! I wore it to a Holiday gala the gold was a perfect color!

Perfect for a winter formal..

Wearing this lovely number was not only comfortable and beautiful but was a psychological boost as well. I was three weeks out of rotator cuff repair and could not believe my luck on finding this left shoulder draping beauty. First of all, who wants to show off fresh surgical scars and have people ask you all night, "What happened to you?" The dress was a comfortable fit for my frame. A note on fit: Larger busted girls may want to go up a size, but bear in mind the length for me was almost too long with heels and I am long-legged. The fit is flowing and fitted at the waist.

Studio 54 meets Greek goddess

I LOVED this dress and felt very confident in it during a not so confident time in my life (weight-wise). At the time, I was normally wearing a size 6 dress...but because it ran large on me, I wore the size 4. Also, I wasn't aware that the dress was offered in "Regular" and in "Long" and I received the "Regular." I would have preferred to wear the "Long" since I am tall, so make sure you are aware that you can choose the correct length for your height with this dress. The dress looked stunning with the MARIAM HASKELL, Sea Treasure Stud Earrings that I rented along with it! Felt like a Studio 54 Greek goddess...in an elegant way.

This dress was perfect for a 1970's themed event. I agree with another reviewer who advised to only order the longer length if you are 5'10' or taller. The regular length was ideal for me. Be sure to tie the sash tightly, mine slipped open a couple times.

Great on camera.

I wore this to the Golden Globes where I was a just a guest but still was on camera--I had a ton of compliments. It was a really inexpensive rental with maximum pizzaz. You can wear a strapless bra so it was a great, comfortable dress. The color is darker than in picture but on TV it read gold like on the picture and looked GREAT!

I ordered a 6L for myself as this is normally the size I would order (I'm between 4 and 6 usually) and the dress fit perfectly. So if you are between sizes go with the size up as I did. The length was actually a bit too long, as it show sin the picture, the bottom of the dress will drag on the ground -- even with my highest 5 inch heels the gown was on the floor (and I'm 5'" without heels so this shows how long the "LONG" dresses are. It was a flattering and comfortable dress for my NYE party. The pictures came out awesome. The color is more a rust/cooper color instead of GOLD, but in pictures the GOLD really pops. It was a hit of the party.

I rented this for New Year's thinking the shiny gold would be fun. I was disappointed with the color which is not the gold shown in the picture; it was much darker, a brown/bronze, and I found the version I ordered a little too short and baggy. I am in between two sizes usually, but even the smaller of the two felt large on me. I would have liked it more if the color had actually been the gold shown in the picture; the bronze did not complement my coloring as the gold would have.

The size 0 was a bit big on me, I have a small top frame as far as shoulders and waist line. I usually am a 2, so I felt it ran a bit larger than normal. I also ordered the long, because I am 5'7" and usually wear a 4-5 inch heel. It was a bit too long. So unless you are 5'10" you can swing the regular length. I am sad I was not able to wear it because of the sizing problems. It was truly a fab dress!

Wore this dress for my Birthday and it was a hit, very comfortable. The color is very Bronze and not as Gold as pictured. But my Gold Jewelry still meshed well with it. I usually wear an 8, but that sz was unavaible so I was sent the 10, which did feel a bit too big, so order it in your size :)

I rented this dress for a black tie wedding and it was great! Fortunately, I've rented other Halston Heritage dresses, so I know what size fits me and they're consistent. The dress was very long, which was great. However, if you're less than 5'8" and don't plan to wear a very high heel, I wouldn't rent the long option. I wore 2 1/2 inch heels (very low) and it was just skimming the ground on me which was perfect.

This dress was absolutely beautiful. I wore it to a black tie wedding in New York and definitely got a ton of looks and compliments from all ages and sexes. Unless you are truly 5'10" the shorter version should work for the majority of women. Wish I had another event to wear it again.

Loved the way the dress fell/draped body!

Very long however, I am 5'4 and with high heels this still dragged on the floor. Gorgeous dress nonetheless!!

Bronze Goddess

While I ended up wearing another RTR dress for a recent event, this was a close runner-up. As other reviewers have noted, this dress is more of a deep bronze than a gold in color, which I felt washed me out a bit with my fair skin. It was very flattering and with a 3" heel you should be fine if you are 5'5-5'7. You can also wear a strapless bra for added support. The only reason it was not a 5 for me was with the lining, it falls a few inches above the knee and I found when I walked around it kept wanting to ride up, which then caused a "lumpy" hip look, which I had to straighten out a few times, so I opted to forgo the dress and wear my back-up one. If you are more straight and narrow in this area, it most likely would not cause an issue.

I absolutely loved this dress and received a lot of compliments at one of my events. This dress runs a bit small I thought, I'm usually a size 0, 2 but even a size 2 was a bit tight. It is also as not as gold as on the picture. The color is a darker gold- brown gold. I rented a longer version of the dress and even with my height and heels the dress was touching the floor. This dress was a true winner, everybody loved and turned a lot of heads by the gentlemen.

I ordered a 4R and 6R but they 4R wasn't available when I got the dress. The 6R was just too big.

The dress color is slightly different than the color shown online. It's more bronze than gold. Still very pretty - just different. I usually wear a 6 in dresses but the 6R was too big for me. I think the 4R would have been perfect but I wasn't able to receive it.

This dress was perfect for the Mardi Gras ball I attended.

The dress was very baggy so I had to pull the sash really tight to define my waist. I wouldn't rent this again, but it served its purpose.

not much support

the fabric on this dress is tough for girls who need to hide imperfections. even with two pairs of spanx on, i still felt it wasn't the best looking on me and reason for which i am not posting a picture. i substituted the flimsy self belt for a black sequin sash in an attempt to give me some waist definition, but overall this dress is cut very straight so it either clings or hangs and not in a flattering way. not the best for my body type. the color is pretty, but again wasn't the best for me because it almost matched my hair exactly. i love the idea of this dress, but wouldn't rent it again.

I am typically a size 4 or 6, but because I ordered at the last minute, only a 2R was available. Because it's a drapey dress with stretchy material, it fit me perfectly fine. What I wasn't expecting was how short it was - I am 5'5" and the dress barely touched the ground when I was standing barefoot. I did have to wear it with 3-inch heels, which I think made it look al ittle ridiculous, considering you could see my entire foot. Oh well, it was still a beautiful dress. And I agree with another reviewer that it's more of a golden-brown color.

To sum it up, this dress is just boring. Like the other reviews say, it's not gold gold, it's bronze. It's a pretty color but if you're looking for gold, don't get this one. Also, if you are 5'5" or taller with heels, get the long version. The regular is just way too short. I'm about 5'6.5" and the regular practically stopped at my ankles. Pretty but not pretty enough.

Didn't do it for me. What other reviewers say about the color is true - much darker bronze than the picture, but that wasn't a problem. Just doesn't fit very well, baggy around the waist, shapeless around the neckline. Seems pretty cheaply made - I was turned off by the seams on the sleeve and neckline, which looked like a low-end shirt, and the fabric felt like inexpensive polyester. I expected a much more high end look. Also, one of the two sizes I got was quite worn, with ragged hemlines and wear in the overall fabric. I didn't wear the dress at all - had to go back to an old staple from my closet at the last minute. Bummer.

I was so excited for this dress when I ordered it a few months back but all my emotions changed when I recieved it. On the website its looks much more of a bright gold when in person it more like a copper and I ordered the Regular height since I had read in previous reviews that it came very long. Well either they sent me the wrong size or I don't know how short that reviewer was because the dressed barely touched the ground when I tried it on... and I'm not tall! So overall I was very disappointed in the color, fit, and the return policy.
