It was snug through the chest and shoulders but flowy in the arms. It is forgiving from the waist down.

I tried many different dresses for this event through RTR Unlimited. This one was the winner, hands down. It hung well, wasn't clingy, didn't wrinkle, and the cape kept my arms warm during the freezing temperatures.

I received so many compliments on this dress. It was comfortable which was great but very flattering and I felt very classy in it.

Fit was loose but not unflattering or too boxy, the sleeves were such a fun touch, and the fabric felt really nice and breezy. Such a great LBD. A little tight sround the chest but I'm pretty flat chested so it was no issue for me.

Very flattering fit, did not fit too tight but still gave some shape. The length was perfect. I'm 5'3, 127 lbs and 32 DDD. The chest was a little tight, emphasis on little, nothing uncomfortable or unflattering. I wanted it short, so the XS was perfect. I typically wear a size 2/4, so I also ordered the backup Small size, but the XS was more of what I was looking for. Got tons of compliments! This was worn to a cocktail party/dinner for the James Beard Awards. And the fabric was amazing...

I️ rented this dress for an awards ceremony 1 month postpartum. It was extremely flattering and hid all the right spots. Ha! The sleeves were fun and added a nice touch.

Comfortable fit and covers the arms enough so I'm not self conscious. Be careful with the length if you will be sitting down, it gets quite short while you sit.

The XL was a little long, but it worked out fine.

Easy fit dress. I'm 5'3", 36D and generally wear a size 6 or even 8 because of bust size. RTR only had a Small available, so that's what I wore. It was a little snug, but not noticeable because it was black. Nice fabric, well made. I'd love to own this dress!

The dress ran true to size and is very comfortable. It's a little on the short side, but nothing inappropriate. I love the bell sleeves and that they have a beige color on the inside. I was able to pair one of my favorite pair of shoes with this dress. I received lots of compliments!

I really can not think of a con? The dress hid my tummy and made my legs look good because the perfect length was a bit sexy. As a mature mother type it was perfect. Will save for a back up dress in future.

I wore this to a wedding when I was 18 weeks pregnant, and wore my pre-pregnancy size. The dress was very comfortable, and I loved that I could wear a regular bra! I got so many complements, and felt good sitting and dancing! I would definitely recommend this dress to any mommy-to-be!

This just fits great. It's roomy through the torso but sexy because of the length. The two toned sleeves makes it more interesting than a plain black dress. Lots of compliments!

I got more compliments then i expected, its seems quite black dress , but somehow it had that lightness & royalty,fabric was wonderful to the skin, & sleeves made the dress of cause, i put light chain belt,but looks great without belt too,i think it could be work as a tunic too. Straight fit,not fitted

I wore this to perform with the contemporary jazz guitar artist Adam Hawley (adamhawley.com) who happens to be my husband photographed with me. We performed at the Newport Beach Jazz Festival in Newport Beach, California. The dress was very loose and flowed well but I added a thick belt to go around the wait to break it up and add shape. I have a large bust and I am curvy so, the straight dress look, makes me look billowy (In a bad way) that look is really for the straight and narrow. The peek a boo cream under the cape sleeves were such an added surprise to the dress. It worked so well on stage.

Flattering and forgiving shape, very lightweight and drapes nicely. I wear a 10-12 dress size and this fit perfectly. Did come very wrinkled so be prepared with your steamer!

Very forgiving through the belly area and shows off the legs, but not too short to sit. Sleeves were flattering and the peek of cream color was a chic touch. Great dress for dancing! A smidge tight through the chest, but I have a broad back. Wore a strapless bra to try and minimize the bust area. Lightweight fabric was airy and drapey. Felt amazing.

I'm on the shorter side, so this dress fell closer to my knees than the model photo, which was perfect for my occasion, a reception at the Palais de l'Elysée in France. I had little information to go on for dress code, other than black and not too short. I was appropriate and comfortable all night long. I wore black heels I already owned, the suggested Marni Accessories Gold Crystal Floral necklace, and finished it all with the Layfayette 148 New York Burgundy Mix Fur Cape, a normal coat wasn't going to work with the flutter sleeves. I would recommend this dress to anyone wanting a subtle yet eye catching dress for a formal evening.

This dress is PERFECT. I received so many compliments on it. It's very flattering and is extremely comfortable. The light fabric made it perfect for an outdoor wedding. The large fit great, but was a little tight in the chest (I'm a 36G). I sized up and went with the xlarge, which made it a little big on the bottom but perfect on the top. I usually wear a 10 in dresses unless I size up for my chest. Overall, I think it's pretty true to size.

Went with XL because the fit was very tight across the bust. Other than that, it was very flowy and comfortable everywhere else.

I thought the dress fit well, was a little tight across chest, but no one noticed. I received multiple comments on it. The sleeves are the perfect touch. It was a little plain as it is just a LBD. Dress it up with some cute jewelry.

This dress is very stylish and perfect to hide some extra weight. I loved the cut out detail in the sleeves and the length was good with tights. The fluttering cape added an element of drama to what is otherwise a simple dress. It drapes, so although it's not a bodycon dress by any stretch, I still felt attractive in it. And it was so comfortable!

My original size was not available and only received my backup size. I would have been find in the large but the XL was so comfortable. It's a great take on the little black dress, hides the areas that aren't perfect but the flowing sleeves really add a bit of flare. I'll choose comfort over fashion any day of the week but if I can get both...BONUS!
