I wore this dress for a conference in Shanghai. I was very comfortable but wasn't aware of how high the slit went. Maybe a little too much leg for work.

This dress was comfortable for all day wear, fashionable for NYC and classic. I wore this for a creative conference and paired it with combat boots for a more edgy look.

This was very flattering, I wore it on the super hot day we had in NYC last week (90 degrees). The slit up the side can be quite high on the thigh if you're not careful to keep the draped / cape part over it but I'd say this is a very appropriate dress for a corporate office. I'm 5-9"-5-10" and this fell to my knees, it did a great job of hiding the 30 pounds that I've gained :(

Work-appropriate, non-sexy, and a comfy, easy every-Tuesday option, but watch the slit when you sit! It's great for happy hour, but not great for a meeting. Maybe a slip? It's nice to skip the spanx some days.

I rented this for work. I didn't realize how the dress was before I rented it, it laid sort of weird on me and made me look a little bigger than i am. I wore a blazer over it for work and it was cute. I am 5'3 and it was a little longer than I'm used to.

Dress looked amazing when I first put it on.. but throughout the day it kept twisting. By the end of the day I was focusing most of my time pulling on my dress to readjust it. This dress may work best if you are doing little movement or order it a bit large to give it extra give.

Very comfortable fit. The only odd thing about the fit is the drape, which was fine once belted with a skinny black belt.

The fit is perfect. The fabric is smooth and has great movement. And the little slit - my boyfriend couldn't stop looking. It's gorgeous and perfect for a date. I will rent it again.

This is a classic Halston that I wore for work events and true to RTR experience for lots of compliments. Side cut gives it an edge but careful about sitting - you can flash a lot more skin than you planned on (good / bad ? ; ) Fits true to size - worked for my short stature and small boobs. Fabric wrinkles a little careful traveling/packing it.

Classic black, work-appropriate dress. Fit is true to size and flattering even for those with a large chest. The only improvement needed is the flap of material in the front hangs awkwardly and needed to be pinned for it to sit right. If I were going to buy the dress, I would have it tailored to fix this problem. Otherwise, the dress is very comfortable and professional.

It fit well but the slit in the thigh area was extremely exposing. It doesn't appear that way in photos, but felt like I was flashing people all day!

The underlay was tight on my hips and not good for work

Wore this for work. The dress fit great on top, but the slit on the bottom was too revealing. There was not a comfortable way to sit down without feeling like I was showing the whole room everything! I ended up having to pull the fabric up and tuck it in between my legs to make it work.

I loved the look of this dress while standing. However, the front flap fell away while walking briskly and sitting, revealing more of my leg than I felt was appropriate for work.

Didn't fit correctly on the bottom, so lit came up high and was visible.
