Top is a little see through. Need a bra. Otherwise perfect. The back is sexy and it is comfortable.

I ordered the 8L and 10L but went with the 10. I could've worn the 8, but I have an athletic build and wider rib cage. The white top and black strap were tighter than I was anticipating, so I went with the 10 to make sure nothing bulged with the cutouts. I am 5'11 and wore 4 inch wedges and the dress was definitely long enough! I received so many compliments and even some of my male friends told me I needed to find a way to buy the dress!

Top portion of the dress was a little loose. Other than that I loved this dress. Elegant, yet sexy, and simple. I will probably rent it in the future.

This dress is snug on the top and comfortable on the bottom. Very easy to move and dance. The fabric on top is thick enough to wear without a bra, or a strapless bra if prefer. The skirt is long so high heels required. Perfect for a fall wedding !!

The waist and back were a little bit looser than I would have thought (which doesn't allow for you to wear spanx because it drops very low on the back); but other than that the gown is a perfect fit. I am taller than average and the Regular length was still a bit long, so just a precaution to those ordering the L vs. R. Beautiful gown and fit, I would recommend for any black tie event!

I had actually tried on this dress in the size 6 in a store and it fit perfect. My only qualm is this dress fit a little bigger in the chest area than when I had tried on a new one in store. My guess is that it stretched a little after being worn by others with a larger chest. Regardless, if you're smaller chested you may want to find a stick on bra to help it fit better (my strapless bra showed in this dress). It's also long so plan to wear heels. Other than that, stunning dress and received compliments all night!

Loved this dress! I used a safety pin to pin the lower back up a little higher as I thought the fabric sat a little too low on my lower back. I'm 5'8 and wore 3" heels and the L size was perfect. Depending on the brand, I usually wear a 10, however I felt like I was swimming in it so I went with the 8 and it fit much better.

I loved this dress I received a ton of compliments I normally wear a 6 because I'm busty but I went with the 8 for a comfortable fit. The top was a little snug but the bottom was a tad loose. Overall it was a great dress to move in and I loved everything about it!

This dress is AMAZING. I had a bit of a dress fiasco and ended up going to the store in NYC for a new dress. I’d seen this one online and just wasn’t convinced that it was going to work for me. I couldn’t be happier to tell you how wrong I was!!! I’m usually an 8/10 and go for dresses that are forgiving in the bust (I’m a 36 DD/34DDD). This dress fit comfortably and I didn’t need to wear a bra. I would recommend going up in size if you are busty or wider in the waist, I got lucky that the 8 worked out. The skirt fell perfectly on the hips and perfectly accentuates the curve of your back. You will feel amazing all night long! I got so many compliments and it killed me to send this dress back the next day. I will say it’s on the longer side, so heels are a must if you’re on the shorter side. (I’m 5’6” and wore 4” heels with the regular length and it was perfect)

Wore this to a black tie event and it was a huge hit. 4R would have been just fine, the 6 was available and I actually liked that it wasn't tight – almost kinda loose but I liked it because I have a full bust and it wasn't restricting. Stunning back, too! My friend actually liked it so much she borrowed it the next day for a wedding and is going to try RTR herself now. Such a hit! It was also new with tags when I got it (seems like a newer dress since there aren't too many reviews yet). Paired it with Lulu Frost earrings and the DVF evil eye clutch.

I tend to fall between a 0 and 2 and the 2R was perfect: Skimmed over curves and no bulges. I'd been hesitant to try a dress with cutouts, as I'm not particularly fit/athletic, but the cut is really flattering. I did not wear a bra, though I could have worn my strapless. (I didn't want to worry about the edges potentially peeking out at the top of the cutout area.) The day was hot, but this dress kept me cool: The skirt fabric is light and the open back helped. I was completely comfortable sitting, walking, dancing, etc. The skirt was a bit long with 3" heels, so I'd recommend the regular length to anyone around my height (5'5") or shorter. I received SO MANY compliments on this dress. I felt comfortable, classy and attractive all day and night. I wish I had an upcoming event to wear it to, because I'd absolutely wear it again!

This dress is gorgeous & very comfortable! I'm 5'5, 120 lbs & the 4R fit perfectly. I am fairly muscular thru my chest (34B) & had zero room to spare up top so I would recommend sizing up for second option. I also wore 4" heels & the dress was barely off the ground.

This dress was so fun! I enjoyed wearing it for a black tie event. My husband said it was his favorite dress I've ever worn, next to my wedding dress. I agree with other reviewers that it runs small on top relative to the bottom. I am an A cup and had to wear the size 6 instead of the 4 just to get the top to zip, even though the 4 fit better on the bottom. I typically wear a long but opted for the regular based on other reviews and the length was perfect. I have just two tiny complaints about this dress: 1. It wrinkles during shipping, so a steamer is a must before wearing. 2. The hardware that fastens the belt is slightly visible. But overall I was so pleased with this dress and had so much fun wearing it. Thank you RTR!

This dress was nice, a little long. If you're like me and wide in the shoulders with a bigger bust, I suggest wearing a size up! This dress is not stretchy. As you can see in my photos, it was pretty tight in the chest area. Overall it was a very pretty dress but not super comfortable.

I received a lot of compliments on this dress. I love the open back, the long was necessary for my height, and the dress was flattering.

Beautiful dress! This was my first rental with rent the runway and I received lots of compliments! The back is what makes it!! It's way too long, I had to use hem tape and it was still too long. I made it work though. I also used fashion tape on the back so my undergarments wouldn't show. Overall!!! Beautiful!

I thought the dress fit very well and was complimentary to my body type. I think the dress would would just as well for other body sizes/styles! It was also very comfortable!

This dress was definitely a showstopper and I got so many compliments. It was comfortable to wear all night and it has just the right amount of sexy and elegant for a black tie wedding. When I rented this dress there were only regular sizes and the dress was SO long. I am 5'4" and wore 4 inch heels and I had to use hem tape and still lift up the bottom whenever I walked. Otherwise, in love with this dress.

I ordered this a long time ago and at that time there were not petite sizes listed. I wish I had seen that they became available and switched to petite because it was definitely long on me even with 4inch heels. However the dress looked stunning. The cut is in the absolute right place to accentuate the figure and the waist and back are very forgiving/flattering. I was able to fit into the 0R but went with 2R for a little more comfort and to be able to fit my strapless bra. I got tons of compliments on this dress!!

This dress was perfect, I received multiple compliments about the dress, but one in particular stuck out when someone's mom told me this dress was "age appropriate", not too mature and matronly looking, the dress was fun, classy and classic for a black tie wedding. I ordered 2R and 0R the 2R was wrinkled on the white upper part which was really visible, but the 0R fit perfectly without a bra and no wrinkles it fit like a glove. I liked this dress so much I bought it a couple weeks later.

I had received a dress I wasn't that excited about so I went to the store to try on options. This dress looked a bit odd, but when I tried it on I loved it. It fit great and had a fun back. I got a TON of compliments on it. I would highly recommend this dress!

The perfect gown with a twist! I love this rubber band detail to wrap around the waist because it gives it such a different look to a rather common silhouette. I would recommend sizing up if you are wider in the waist but there is ample room in the hips to accommodate all different sizes! At a C cup, it was a little tight at the bust so I would keep that in mind if you have a larger bust. The fabric does not have any stretch but it is still comfortable, flowy, and so breathable! Pair with some accent earrings!

This dress hits in all the right spots. It's very flattering and comfortable. A great dress to dance in!

Is snug- that black band that goes around felt tight

This is a beautiful dress and I got so many compliments. The fit was perfect in the top, but the bottom was really loose and hung a lot lower than I expected. I have a tattoo on my lower back that I thought would be covered, but wasn't. Not what I wanted on display at a black tie wedding. I ended up putting in a stitch to keep the bottom half a little higher and was SO much more comfortable after that. If not for the tattoo, I probably wouldn't have had an issue with the back being so low. Definitely be prepared to wear some low-sitting or no underwear.

Would like another opportunity to try another dress.
