Dress is beautiful and felt great! I love the drape in front which helped to cover my belly. I was comfortable the entire evening.

I am 5'4" and the 6R worked great with 3-4in heals. I wore this dress to a Mardi Gras ball, and those nights are LONG... this dress was SO comfortable. The wrap element just gives it a dressy vibe and the belt allows you to make it tight so it doesn't hang on you like a sack. There's also a bit of a slit in the front which adds to the dress. Throw on some fun earrings and you're good to go. When it comes to a bra, I wish I had brought mine with a razor back but straps hanging out weren't a big issue. Would definitely recommend renting. I will probably order it again for a black tie wedding I have this Summer.

Fitted on one side, with the draped panel in front and the sash underneath. Comfortable, flattering, sophisticated. I loved it and received compliments all night long. Nearly cried sending it back. I would purchase this dress and wear it again and again. Perfection.

I wear a size 4 and the 4R dress fit perfectly. I felt comfortable wearing it all evening. The wrap around belt and flowy front satin panel gave this beautiful black gown a unique style. Because I would be talking with board members and potential donors all evening, I chose to wear this dress because it had a conservative top. However, the slit up the front gave it a sexy silhouette when I walked around. Beautiful!

As other reviewers have shared, gorgeous fabric and fit. Slit is modest and only visible when walking or sitting. Comfortable for a festive occassion when planning to enjoy dinner and a few cocktails!

I loved wearing this dress because of the flow of the fabric. I picked the style to accomplish a modern touch with beneficial skin cover for an expectedly cold event over an ice rink. The wide-belted under-layer provided some waistline definition when tied relatively snug.

So beautiful, stunning g material, flattering Draping with plenty of room for an hourglass figure. Usually find to hard something fashion forward to accommodate my body type- loved this number!

Absolutely loved the fit of the dress, even though it came without the waist wrap band that everyone else talked in the reviews, I was still able to wear the dress without it perfectly fine. I got compliments on the dress all night, even though I have wide hips, I was able to fit into my regular dress size perfectly, and the slit made the dress look very elegant. Absolutely loved it!

I loved everything about this dress but didn't end up wearing it just because of the overall mood of the dress. I'll definitely rent it again, but maybe for something more mature/formal or professional/black tie... if that makes sense. Because it's just very covered, and on top of that it's black. So I wouldn't wear it to a place that's formal but maybe going for a fun flirty sexy style... but id wear it to a charity gala lol.

Great fit. It's hard to tell in the picture but it is firm fitted on one side with a high mechanism drape on the other. High slut when walking for just the right amount of sexy.

I wore this for a formal event where I wanted a more traditional look without feeling boring, and this was just right. This was a back-up dress I swapped for a different, ill-fitting dress at a Rent the Runway store. I'm not sure I would have picked this one from a photo on the website or even from it hanging on the hangar, but once on it just fits so nicely - it is a really great dress. The interesting drape, slit and tie in the back make it interesting and elegant.

I choose this dress because I wanted something different and hide my stomach area. I was very happy with my selection and got a lot of compliments and people wanting to know where I got my dress. I'm 5'3 and 143lbs. Pretty thick all over. I wore the highest heels I could 4 1/2 inches. When you walk the slit separates so there is no problem with the dress being too long but I would say it touched the floor when standing. The 6 fit good but the 4 was perfect. I am usually a 4 or a 6. Very beautiful and classy in person, the picture does not do it justice.

I wore this dress to an opera, and it was perfect for it. It was long on me, but that's to be expected since I'm only 5 feet tall. I used fabric tape to temporarily hem it, and it worked great. It sorta reminds me or the dresses we wore for choir, only sexier.

The dress fit was true to size

This dress is magic. Amazing. COMFORTABLE. There aren't enough positive adjectives. It's so different and elegant with the "turtle neck" type neck line. The material is thick and great quality. I wore this to a Black Tie Winter Gala so probably not the best for a summer event. It has a discreet but sexy slit in the front with almost a wrap dress style. It comes with a great sash to tie around your waist and show your curves! I had to use fashion tape to keep my strapless bra from showing underneath my armpits but that 2 second annoyance didn't change my opinion on the dress AT ALL. I received SO many compliments and was truly sad to return it. I would absolutely rent this again.

I was a little apprehensive to rent this dress, as no one else had written a review for it -- but I decided to go for it anyway. I am so glad I did! This dress was gorgeous and very sexy. The fabric has a little bit of stretch to it, which was great because "hello hips and bum!!" The major detailing of this dress was of course the draping-- it revealed a bit of leg (from mid-thigh down to your feet). It's kind of hard to picture how the dress goes based on the photos along, but think of it like a wrap dress-- it's sort of like that. The waist-tie helped to pull it all together, by cinching in the waist. Overall, it was a beautiful dress. Don't be afraid to wear it if you are a little curvy.

This dress was exactly what I was looking for- classy, elegant but still edgy. The drape was great and it helped hide my pudgy areas. However... I found the arm holes wouldn't stay close to my body, even with tape... And the dress was constantly twisting around my body so I found it hard to stay comfortable. Also, the belt did not show up with the dress... I almost loved it!

I liked this dress in theory. The draping, belt, and front slit are all nice details. In the end though I prefer a dress that gives me more of figure. If you're not tall and skinny or don't have much in the hips/booty area, the front draping kind of overwhelms you.

Wore this dress for a NYE gala. I ordered it in a 2R and 4R, however it actually runs a bit large. The 2 was a tad long (I'm 5'3") and large up top (34B) and around the waste. The sash helped me tie it tight enough to wear it for the evening and it was absolutely gorgeous despite being big. I felt very classic and sexy draped in black satin!

It is elegant so I wore simple pearls.

I rented this dress as a back up in case my first dress didn't work out. I didn't end up wearing it but I will definitely be renting it again. It's so much better looking in person. The material is very sleek and stylish and the tailoring is beautiful. I have a small waist and the belt really helps to show that off. Just an FYI when you walk or dance the front panels open up so if you're wearing any shape wear underneath I'd advise a higher cut.

I loved this dress and wore this to a formal ceremony. The materials of the dress was elegant and it fit my body nicely. I decided to bring the sash around the front of my waist to give a little more depth since this dress is not formfitting. The dress speaks for itself and the slit added a touch of sexiness. I would recommend wearing either spanx or tight shorts because if you are sitting down, the front slit does open. 10/10 recommend!

I loved this dress! It requires a criss-cross strap in back, but no other special underwear is needed. It was long on my 5'3" frame, so I wore 4" heels to keep myself from stepping on it all night. I didn't wear it exactly as-pictured. I wanted a slightly sexier old Hollywood look, so I pushed the front satin material to the side at the waist and wrapped the belt (it wasn't stitched on, but I think it was meant to be) around to hold it in place. It completely changes the look of the dress! I looked online for some styling ideas and I saw that Sharon Stone wore this dress to a charity event. I'm normally a 2, but I ended up wearing the 4R. Busty ladies should size up, or your girls are going to look and feel a little too compressed.

At 5' 1.5" and with 4 inch heels, the 4R (4P not available) was too long. The back up size, 6R, did not fit as well, but was still too long although shorter than 4R. Wore the 4R and adjusted hem length with tape. Loved the dress.

Very pleased with the dress!!! I'd rented from RTR before and that dress didn't work out. This particular dress was very comfortable. I wish RTR had the dress in another color. I would rent this dress again. At 5'4 and somewhat busty, this dress worked very well. FYI, I had to wear a strapless bra. Normally, I run b/t a 12/14. I chose the 14 b/c it provided a little more breathing room.

Very forgiving yet flattering!

This dress is SO forgiving and was the perfect long black dress. The slit, unlike many dresses with slits, allowed you to still move without constantly worrying about flashing someone and was still noticeable and sexy. I will definitely be renting again!!!
