High slit but got a bigger size for more coverage. I usually wear 6/8 but the dress is a size 10L. The v cut is low but it pin it up a little bit since the occasion was a church fundraiser.

Ladies this dress is EVERYTHING! It was perfect for me as I wanted to highlight the assets I'm proud of (the ladies) and hide what I'm not so proud of (arms and thighs). This dress does it all! Subtlety hid my arms without actually having sleeves, and showed just enough leg without making me feel self conscious. Not gonna lie though, the slit is HIGH when you sit down so definitely keep that in mind. I also probably would've been more comfortable in the 16 as the 14 was pretty tight in the hips/tummy. Can't wait to use RTR again!!!

The cape made this dress more fashion forward from any other dress at the gala and the color was stunning. If you want to stand out from a crowd of LBD's, this is a sure bet!

If you have wide hips order up. I ended up using the size 6 and just adjusting the top. The shape on top allows that. The dress is stunning, i got a lot of compliments!

I was really nervous about this dress, but it was perfect. Im 5'3" and with three inch heels it was exactly right. My only minor issue was the low cut front. If you are small chested definitely have tape, those fake sticky "chicken cutlets" or some sort of miracle! I ended up wearing a regular pushup bra pulled down but was constantly adjusting as I was worried my bra was showing. Fabric was very nice, photographs well, and was a huge hit with the hubby! Got several compliments from strangers and generally felt like a rockstar!

I have never felt sexier or more powerful than I did in this dress. At 19 weeks pregnant, I went one size up and it fit perfectly. I'd like to thank Beyoncé for wearing it first (also while pregnant) and RTR for having it so I could be my most wonderfully extra self.

Fit was great! I am small chested so I didn't have an issue with the low cut. The fabric was heavy and laid well; the color was perfect for a fall wedding!

Loved the deep raspberry color and cape. I bought some of those sticky "chicken cutlets" to wear underneath because I can't go braless without scandalizing people. Also wore spanx as the bottom part is clingy. The dress is somewhat basic, so be prepared to accessorize.

Best rental ever. I did not receive the 14 as ordered and wore back up size 12. Plunge was so deep I could wear a bra, but it somehow managed to work. The first and only time that has ever happened for me. This dress is stunning and sexy as hell and made to make everyone's mouth drop. I am literally waiting for the moment to rent again

Typically a size 6 pre pregnancy, ordered a 8 and 10 and wore the 10, but mainly due to my chest.

While the dress is a little difficult to get on if you are a bit more hippy the over all fit is perfectly true to size and you'll definitely be a show stopper with this cape.

The color and cape style were perfect for a winter/early March wedding. I was worried about the how low the V cut would be but it wasn't bad at all (not sure how it would look for someone with a larger bust). I did need double sided tape to make sure everything stayed in place.

I rented a size 6r and 4R and the 4 fit perfectly. I wore flats and the dress was at the perfect length. I didn't need to wear a bra and everything still was perky. Every 20 mins someone came up to me to compliment the dress. I am so happy.

Elegant and stunning

I wore this dress as a bridesmaid in my sister's wedding. It was fabulous! I received so many compliments. One thing I will say is that you need to have a chest to fill this out. I had my second daughter 2 months before wearing this, thank goodness. Otherwise I don't think it would have worked. That being said, I did nurse while wearing it - just unzipped the back.

Loved this dress. I'm usually pretty conservative and this one pushed my comfort level with the neckline. With that being said, I'm 5 months pregnant and have a much larger bust (36DDD) than normal(34D). Plenty of double sided tape used! The previous renter did not return in the second size option I ordered and I wore my regular size while 5 months pregnant. There was enough stretch to the dress to accommodate the bigger belly and the fabric is of great thick quality to keep things smooth. Overall, a great dress!

This dress is amazing but not for the faint of heart. The front slit came to about mid thigh for me and I'm 5'9, so definitely recommend having a pashmina for covering up when seated. I went based on other reviews and sized up. I'm typically a 4 or 6, depending on the brand, but got the 8 in this dress and was very happy. Tall ladies - the 8L was long everywhere, not just the hem in my experience. I felt the top was baggy and ultimately went with the 8R even though it was short with heels. I tried fashion tape and wanted the 8L to work but didn't want to risk it! I found this dress was compatible with a "sticky bra" with no issues. Received tons of compliments and felt great in it all night!

Pregnant ladies, this is your dress! A size up wasn't an option so I rented my normal size 2. I'm on the short side at 5'2" and typically not curvy. Right now, I'm 32 weeks pregnant and have pretty much only gained a bump so I was able to squeeze into it. I wish I had one size bigger to accommodate the eating I wanted to do, but the dress was beautiful and made me feel like I wasn't a dumpy pregnant lady at a black tie wedding. The slit in front is high. The cape covers most of your bootie so I didn't even worry about shape wear.

The fit was perfect, very comfortable fabric, and made me feel beautiful at 21 weeks pregnant! Was a little low cut, but still tasteful. This was my first RTR experience, and I'd definitely rent again! I'm 5'4", normally 120 lbs but 141 with the bump. The 4R was a perfect fit!

The color (appears red in other review photos) but is truly a maroon. The fit was exactly true to size. I am 6'1' and the long wasn't as long as I hoped but really, nothing is. The length came to a good spot so it wasn't an issue. The cape sleeves are a unique feature and help create drama but still let you be covered up a bit. The neckline is really flattering and allows for some fun cleavage to be accentuated.

I love the dress and got many compliments! However the midsection was kind of loose because of the lovely preggos that have worn this dress before me :) It was still beautiful!

The dress actually is pretty breathable and stretchy. The neck line is low, that was the only part that felt different for me but that is probably just personally bc I don't wear low cut often. I felt beautiful in this dress I definitely recommend!

I wore this as a bridesmaids dress for my cousin's wedding and I can't say enough good things about it. It was very comfortable, the color is gorgeous and it's different enough to make a statement without being over the top. I didn't need to wear a bra with it but did use some fashion tape just to make sure there were no incidents. Also the slit in the front does cause you to show a lot of leg if sitting cross legged, but I didn't find it to be a problem. I got compliments all night long!

I absolutely loved wearing this dress - so pretty and flattering. My only issue was the deep v neckline. I had to safety pin the dress to my bra to keep my bra from showing. Even so, I highly recommend this dress.

This dress is beautiful. It was my back up dress and it came in handy since the other dress was not flattering at all. It fit over my 3 month baby bump perfectly. I received a lot of compliments. The only con was that my bra was showing but I bought garment tape that solved that problem. Overall, I loved the dress!

Wore this for a black tie family wedding in the late winter/early spring, and it was perfect! The heavier fabric made the cold day bearable. I also love the contrast between the flowy sleeves and the tight fitting bodice. Very high slit when walking, FYI (I liked this, but I could see how some might find it uncomfortable). Looked sophisticated while standing for photos, and sexy/fun on the dance floor.

It has no stretch. I was worried sizing up would make the top too drapey/open. I am 5'10", was long enough with flat shoes. I was able to nurse in it.

I wore this to an orthodox black tie wedding so I needed a fair amount of coverage but also wanted to feel sexy and beautiful. I did! It fit really well and I didn't have to fidget with it all night. I usually wear a 0 but the 2 fit a bit better since the waist is quite form fitting but overall Id say it fit true to size. Plus I got a ton of compliments. Even my husband exclaimed over how "cool the cape is!" Highly recommend!

This dress was beautiful and I received many compliments. I'm 5'8" and always have to rent the longs if I want to wear heels. The color was really pretty for my Spring event and would look good in the Fall as well since it is a deep red and is made with a little thicker fabric. The only thing I didn't love was the slit ran a bit high and I accidentally split it a little getting into a vehicle. Other than that, it was a really great rental!

This dress was a hit! I got so many compliments on the color and the style. The deep neckline was sexy, but elegant, and the cape was very flattering. I did wear a body-shaping slip underneath since I am newly postpartum and have a soft mommy-tummy, but I felt confident and comfortable in the dress all night long. I chose not to wear any type of bra or pastey on the girls, and the dress stayed put, even through dancing. I am 5'6" and wore 2-inch heels and the dress hit just above the ground. I feel like this is a sisterhood of the traveling pants type of dress - it looks good on every body shape! The only downside I can drum up is that the slit is a little higher than I would prefer. That being said, I would wear this dress again and recommend it for anyone who needs a classy dress with a little bit of flair.

I wasn't having luck finding a glamorous maternity dress for a photo shoot and looked on RTR at the last-minute and came across this one as bump-friendly. (Only after renting it, did I notice that Beyoncé wore this dress while pregnant, ha.) The dress was gorgeous and the color looked great in photos. At 32 weeks pregnant, I sized up one size - I'm normally a 2 and rented the 4L. I tried on the 6, which could've worked, but it was a little too big in the shoulders/chest for me.

Gorgeous color and draping, fit like a glove and perfect length for 4 inch heels (I'm 5ft 1inch). Was a small tear in the center front slit, but wasn't noticeable when wearing and fashion taped! I wore a regular bra and taped it to my bra! Wish I could rent this in every color! Perfect for gala event!
