I loved this dress. I got it for a 70's themed gala. It was perfect and I got tons of compliments. I got a med and large and wore the medium. The boob area is pretty low cut so you will need to go with no bra or use fashion tape to keep it closed. This dress was the perfect disco glam look. I wanted to keep it.

I wish I got the long version, was a little short. Also, SUPER low-cut. I ended up having to pin the chest so that I could wear a bra, but if you don't need a bra, then just know it goes to below the bottom of wear your bra would be.

I felt like a slinky stone cold fox in this dress for our James Bond-themed party. I was 6 months post-partum at the time and had worked my butt off to get back in shape and wanted something to make me feel special. I will warn it was VERY booby and form fitting; nothing a bunch of spanx and fashion tape didn't fix. I had to wear a stick-on bra because it was so low in the front, but with the fashion tape I made it work.

This dress is STUNNING on and cut for a busty girl! It was a little loose in the waist, but the drape and flow was fantastic. I received so many compliments, and a local jewelry store draped me in real diamonds, so the look was complete. Highly recommend if you are busty and curvy... it's a beautiful gown!

I wore this dress for our New Year's Eve party. This picture was taken towards the end when we had taken off our heels lol. I loved the fit. It was a little loose fitting under arm but not noticeable. I received a lot of compliments.

Should be a large, but went down a size. Very comfortable and works with curves well.

This dress was worn to a Mandi Gras ball with a "Space Gods and Goddesses" theme and it was 100% on theme. I felt regal and sexy. I would advise that a bra isn't really possible, but I was able to wear Spanx.

Rented this for a NYE 70s glam Rothschildesque party at a local brewery. Ordered a medium but got notice it wasnt returned in time. The large fit , a little big up top- this dress is cut down to your ribs- so i had to pin it and added the giant rhinestone necklace . Probably wouldnt have worked if the party theme wasnt bling! Super comfortable, easy to wear, and i felt ahmazing. Great length ( im 5'6") and wore a platform heel- back just reached the floor. Perfect if you dont love your stomach , the rouching was very flattering and a great dress if you love your legs.

Super comfortable dress, you can wear a normal deep cut bra I did a seamless just to make sure I kept in. The slit is very high and revealing if you are not careful so I wore nylons to be extra safe. Perfect dress for disco party and have no complaints at all to share.

The dress is incredibly low cut, so make sure to get some fashion tape! It looked INCREDIBLY beautiful and was so comfortable. The slit in the side is so incredibly flattering, and the entire dress is cut to make you look lovely. The fabric is light, so its perfect for warm events.

Rented this for a 70's theme Gala and it was perfect. Fit was great. Very flattering. The long option was great for me to still wear heels.

There was ample room in the bust so if you have a smaller chest size I would size down.

Wore this to my company holiday party - it was exactly what I wanted. Fit great, draped beautifully, and was easy to dance in. I will say the color is more pewter than straight silver, but that was a welcomed surprise for me. All in all, awesome dress.

I love everything about the dress, the fabric is very comfortable and loose, (make sure you wear nipple covers with it) I would definetly rent this again!

I loved this dress! It was perfect for a black tie wedding in Brooklyn! THe top ran a little big so I definitely needed fashion tape, but other than that it was perfect! I'm 5'1 and need 3" heels but the dress wasn't too long! Would definitely recommend and rent again!

The dress fit great and I'm obsessed with it. It is such 70s glam. I was in Vegas the week before the wedding so I made an appt at the store and was lucky to try the dress in my size. Even though I'm 5'2, the length was perfect for me in 4" heels. If you do rent this dress, I suggest nippies and fashion tape to hold down the opening V. I'm a C cup and I think I filled it out fine but with dancing you want to make sure those babies stay put.

My frame is very petite, so it's hard to find a dress that fits, stays on, is comfortable, and looks flattering. This dress did the job! I was a bridesmaid for my bff's wedding & I went to the RTR flatiron store (NY) before committing. I ordered XS and it feel well (not absolutely perfect because it was slightly loose). I actually rented this dress because I wanted to have a Priscilla Queen of the Desert moment on a trip to Australia, but my camper van rental fell through, so I opted for being extra on the beach. It definitely fit the bill. I did think it ran a little large, but more a comfy fit than needing to size differently.

True to size. The only thing I don't like is how the split creates a line under the dress. I which it could've been seamless.

If you are bustier it will show off cleavage. I recommend using clothing tape with this dress.

Everyone said this dress ran large - I did not think so. I am a true size 6 and usually a medium across the board and the medium fit me like a glove (I ordered the small as a back up based on reviews). The material is thick and of good quality. I wore pasties but did not need spanx. Even with the nipple covers, if you so much as slouch in this dress, you will flash some boobage - BEWARE! Standing, dancing, and anything other than sitting, the top fit perfectly. This dress was fabulous and I felt pretty spectacular wearing it. Another amazing RTR experience!

Great dress, a bit clingy so some may prefer smoothing garments (I wore regular tights as it is winter) and a bra can be tricky - I have a teeny chest but unlike some others I found that even though it was plenty roomy on top and quite low cut, I could get by without garment tape. Definitely nipply and not supportive though so if that's not your look keep it in mind. Generally it was generously cut but very flattering.

Overall, I loved this dress! I had to use double sided tape to contain my girls (lol) but when the tape stopped sticking I still had no wardrobe malfunction. You can see all lumps, bumps, and lines in this material but it's nothing an appropriate body shaper can't fix.

Great dress and very forgiving midsection. I did the duct tape on the boob trick and the photo that I posted doesn't picture the extra smoothing I did before leaving, so this is not a flaw of the dress. I found the asymmetrical shoulder detail really fun also! I would definitely rent this again.

Wore this for NYE. Overall I really liked it. I went with the Medium long. I'm 5'6" so with heels the long was perfect. I would definitely recommend sticky cups for support in the bust area. I normally wear a 10 but went with the M based on other reviews, so the fit was excellent. Only cons were that the edge on one side of the split was coming unstitched, not a huge deal as you couldn't tell once I had the dress on. Also because of the fabric and length you do need to be aware of your heels so they don't snag the dress. Got lots of compliments and my husband was wowed!

I wore this to a black tie Christmas party. I stood out among all of the black and gold dresses. The plunging neckline and high slit were so fun and daring! I have never worn anything like this dress before and it was a unique choice for me that I was beyond happy with, I have never felt so good in a dress, I always feel like my thighs look ginormous in dresses but not with this one, the high slit and roomy hip area helped to de-accentuate them tremendously and the Spanx (shiny fabric accentuates bumps) and fashion tape were a must! I used one safety pin in the waist area underneath to hold up the layer underneath to adjust the line where the fabric lays on your left thigh that you can see slightly in this photo (and other girls photo reviews) because of the way I am standing but not IRL.

This was my first time using Rent the Runway and this dress did not disappoint! The small fit exactly as I expected it would. Length was surprisingly perfect with 3.5 in heels, considering I have never put on a full length dress that was not way too long. I was concerned about the chest area because I'm a 34D, but with a special plunge bra everything looked good and mostly stayed in place. The fabric through the chest does not have any support, so if you have bigger boobs, I recommend getting a bra with a deep plunge. Not the best dress for dancing or a windy location - between the high slit and the deep V there are a lot of opportunities for a wardrobe malfunction. Overall this dress was very flattering and worked great for my event.

Very soft flowing fabric, runs big, even XS could be tighter, its different size shoulder parts( its design like that), was not crazy about it Other wise nice dress, for warm weather, don't feels heave ( like satin gown would )

Such a pretty dress, got so many compliments, but a few notes: 1. It arrived so wrinkly I had to have it professionally steamed, and 2. The top would have showed all of my goods had it not been for about twenty pieces of topstick double-sided fashion tape. Overall, happy with my choice, but not "turn-key" as I would have hoped. Also ran big, wish I had ordered a Medium.

The drape was flattering and fit well.

It fit just right. It was loose in the plunging neckline, the slit was high enough but I never felt like my crotch was out, and the length was perfect (5'2"). It held my boobs in no problem with just the right about of inner side boob, I never felt like they were going to pop out. (That said, I wasn't dancing.) I wore silicon pasties. I have hips and don't like wearing slinky or thin materials too tight, but this was super flattering thanks to the empire waist. It's a darker metallic than the pictures show. I'd wear this to a party in a heart beat, but not sure it's appropriate for a black tie, work or high end function.

The dress fit fantastic and looked great. As others mentioned the color is darker than the picture, more of a pewter color.

The dress stands out on its own. It's beautiful and light weight. Perfect for a warmer event. I'm a small size 2. Or in between a 0 & 2. So the small ran too big for me. But that has nothing to do with the beauty of the gown.

This dress fit perfectly! I loved the color. It was loose enough that I wasn’t uncomfortable all night. I would love to wear this dress all of the time!! Definitely needed double sided tape though!
