Perfect fit

It's very tight in through the top, Hard to zip but not impossible. I felt as though the bottom was so open that my goodies would show but that never happened. The color was beautiful and the fit superb. I am very straight and was happy to have some curves. I wore a strapless bra which was a necessity, I had to adjust a bit to make sure it didn't show under my arms. This dress was the winner after four attempts trying to find something that fit and looked good. I was very pleased and happy with this dress I couldn't ask for a better outcome.

I have a small rib cage and hourglass shape so the bodice fit well on me. May be hard to zip if larger chested. I'm 32C and dress was heavy and thick enough to go without a bra.

I was nervous about the fit because I am a size 38DD but the size I normally wear is a 12. I loved this dress and I would rent it again for another formal event. I also loved how it gave me a figure instead of looking like a trash bag on me and doing nothing at all. My boyfriend loved the style of it and the color on me. I can wear so few colors being a strawberry blonde but this blue looked amazing on me!

Wore this to a wedding rehearsal and dinner - the color is stunning and I loved the big swing skirt (stuck out more than expected but I liked that). I got a ton of compliments on this one and would definitely rent again!

This was my first rent the runway and I wore it to a company Holiday party. The cut was so flattering around my arms and I received countless compliments the entire night. The color is amazing and material is very thick. I'm usually a 6 but this ran right in my rib cage so I wore the 8 instead.

I have a thick upper half and thought that an 8 was a bit snug. I went bra less on this dress. However, it was extremely flattering and I felt like the dress added some curves to me.

I felt so skinny and just lovely in this dress. The material was thick and expensive. The color was just perfect. And I loved it so much that seriously considered purchasing it. There was ZERO complaints with this dress, I wish I was wearing it right now!

Usually wear a 12 but I'm a 38DD & the dress has no stretch around the chest area so I wore the 14. Didn't have to wear a bra & everything was held in place perfectly. Really accentuates your waist & makes you look tiny. Absolutely loved this dress. Perfect party dress. And the color is fantastic.

Since I was traveling over the holidays, it was so convenient to have my NYE dress shipped directly to my hotel!! It made packing much easier too. Top is quite fitted but wasn't too tight on me. I wore a padded strapless bra for extra shape. The bottom is quite full. I felt sexy and got compliments all night long!

Love the color! I wore this dress to my boyfriend's work holiday party and it stood out in a sea of red, gold, and black dresses. The fit was pretty spot on minus the bust area. I understand a lot of users said this dress is better for ladies with a smaller bust; however, the seam going down the middle can create an indentation in the chest if you can't fill out the bust. Other than that, the dress was fabulous - the billowy skirt is perfect for twirling! (P.S. If you like the Slate & Willow necklace I paired with the dress, you can also rent it from RTR!)

I love wore the size 4 and that's my true size and it fit great! It was easy to dance in. I got so many compliments on the color! Great fall/winter wedding dress! Might wear it again one day

The dress fit like a glove. There is no give, so make sure you get the free just in case size. The cut gives the impression of an hour glass figure. It's simply a beautifully designed dress and the color is gorgeous. I'd spend the money and purchase it. 5'3" - 36C - Avg 8

The dress fit like a glove and hid my problem belly perfectly. I ended up skipping the bra b/c even a strapless would've ruined the clean lines of this gorgeous dress. The fabric is so thick that the bra wasn't necessary!

I honestly couldn't have found a more perfect dress for a recent parade. The fit was gorgeous. The royal blue color was spectacular. I was worried at first because it seemed a little long for my liking (hits at knees at 5'5), but with a pair of good strappy heals it didn't seem to bother me. Really great sturdy structured material, bottom kept its poof, top kept my DD's in place without a bra. I can't wait to rent again in the future.

Chic blue dress from Halston Heritage! Running true to size, we recommend going one size up for backup. With a fitted bust area, this dress would work best with smaller cup sizes. The fabric has stretch through the midsection and is fuller through the hips, so this dress is super comfortable and practical. One feature that I love about this dress is the racer-back; however you will have to wear either a NuBra or strapless bra with this dress. At 38” from shoulder to hemline, this dress is perfect for parties and other fun occasions like weddings and nights out. Wearing your hair up with silver accessories will make for a perfect look!

I love how this dress slimmed my waist. My only issue was that the bubble skirt was puckered and wrinkly, and I couldn't fix it with a steamer as much as I would have liked. It didn't seem to matter, though.

Be sure to wear a strapless bra. The dress does arrive slightly wrinkled (nature of the fabric) so steam out before wearing. It fits beautifully for curves (size 10-12, 36DD). Goes nicely with a nude or pewter shoe. I felt glamorous and chic.

This dress was beautiful, I felt amazing it in all night long. The color is gorgeous and the fabric felt very rich. The cut is flattering - it made my waist look tiny (which is no small feat!). The only downside was that I couldn't get the hem to lay flat - it always looked slightly wrinkled due to the weights at the bottom of the dress. I'm sure no one noticed except for me, especially at an evening wedding.

Dress is very pretty. The color is beautiful and the fabric is nice and thick. Was great for a fall wedding.

This Halston Heritage Royal Blue Bellie dress in size 4 has a full skirt and is sleeveless with a crew neckline with a hidden back zipper with a hook-eye closure. This dress wrinkles easily. Due to my disability this dress has a skirt that is too full for my walker. The body type that this dress would look great is someone who has a bigger chest and is pear shape.

Fits snug but great on top...very flattering!

The fit was perfect (maybe in ran a bit small), but I loved the way it made my shoulders look and how the dress "belled" and swayed with each movement. Like I said before it was perfect for an outdoor wedding. The materiel at the bottom was a little odd (but I think it had to be to have the effect it did). Over all a great dress and I will definitely be using this site again!

I will say the lining of the dress makes it wrinkle or appear wrinkled. In addition, it was very narrow at the shoulders so, i am busty and was unable to wear a bra, but it worked. Honestly, loved this dress. So comfy and flattering. Color was great with my dark brown hair!

The fit was true to size. The only comment I would make in regards to fit was that it was a tad tight at times around the neck and chest. Overall it was a very comfortable yet stylish dress.

The dress fit great in the bust area and was forgiving in the waist. Keep in mind that there is little to no stretch at all in the dress so if you normally need a larger size in the waist, I would size up to avoid it being too tight. This is a great for a girl with a little more hip.

The dress fit well. It was comfortable and pretty slimming. PROS: fit well, GREAT color, comfortable breathable fabric (I thought it was satin for some reason and that makes me sometimes sweat more - smile). CONS: bottom half of dress for some reason didn't fall right. It looked like it was bunching up at the hemline and people even tugged at it trying to straighten it out but it wouldn't. Also the white 'strings' inside the dress that you would use to help keep dress on the hanger, kept showing. I spent all night tucking it in. Overall, great dress.

The skirt was a bit weird after being shipped so I paperclipped the seams before wearing it to get it to sit better (went by how the photo looks) and it worked pretty well. Went up a size to make the waist not be all ripply or anything. Fit really nicely, and wearing a strapless bra worked fine. Got compliments all night, and it was pretty great all around!

Amazing blue, nice material. It was so cute, but wouldn't zip. I've worn other Halston size14, so either those ran large or this runs very small.

I am between a size 8 and 10 right now and ordered a 10 in this and it fit well but was a little big. I was a beautiful dress though. I did not end up wearing it because I went with a long dress but I am ordering a dress from this brand to own it was so flattering.

Great color and fit.

This dress is a lot of fun to wear. The fit and flare style was comfortable for an outdoor wedding. The only slight drawback is the fabric wrinkling. It needs a strapless or nubra due to the cutaway top.

Color and style was PERFECT, but they were out of the size 14 so I risked it....DONT DO IT! If you're bigger in the chest and ribs, you need a size up! Hate that I couldn't wear it!

This dress was classy, glamorous and tastefully sexy. It was a home run. The event photographer was following me, she even sent me photos saying how photogenic I was that night. I received many complements. In a room full of well dressed and attractive people I stood out!
