True to size!

Rented 2 styles and in 2 sizes each, packaged arrived on time. The additional size for free is a huge plus. Great to have the opportunity to wear couture to the prom! I will definitely rent again and share with friends.

Wore this dress to a fundraising gala (cocktail attire) and I loved this dress! I got so many compliments and the fit is fun - very fitted thru top but flowy skirt. The layers in the skirt add the interest. It's a true navy blue but it stood out beautifully in a sea of black dresses. I'm normally a size 2/4 w huge boobs (bc I'm nursing) and I felt it was true to size and didn't need to wear a bra.

I had originally rented this dress for my mother-in-law to wear, but the dress didn't fit her. The dress I rented for my mother ended up not coming in and the back up that was sent was terrible...so my mother ended up wearing the dress. The dress was beautiful. The material was very heavy and did need some steaming after it was taken out of the bag. I would assume the dress runs true to size, as the dress ordered was a 14 and my mother usually wears a 12 and the dress was big on her. We were able to make the dress work with pins. The dress was very fun. Dressy enough for a formal event, but relaxed enough for a beach wedding.

I wore this for a Make-A-Wish gala - that I was coordinating, not attending. What's the difference? It means there was a lot more running, lifting giant things, climbing ladders, and crawling than would normally be done in a dress like this. And this dress rocked it! What you can't see in this photo is the giant radio that was attached the collar in the back- where it stayed solidly all night connected to an earpiece. Halston has earned a fan! The folding in the front did feel a little "heavy" at first, but it didn't look weird. I did feel like it needed a necklace- which turned into a panic run to Target on the way to the event - but that's my fault, not the dress'. This dress is super comfortable and solid. Absolutely loved it!

Preferred the 12 but was stained glad had 10 as backup but ended up much better fitted than a little loose. Black tie wedding and fit in great!

Wore on a cruise and everyone stopped to compliment me! My husband raved about it too! The dress is not revealing but very well designed! Hard not to buy this one!!!!

The dress was very comfortable and I loved the shape - very flattering! Perfect for any cocktail attire event.

Overall, great fit, however a little tight around the rib cage for me. Got two sizes but ended up going with the smaller one. Got a ton of compliments! Great dress for a fall or winter wedding

The top/waistline fit a little snug for me but was manageable. I loved that the waistline was higher and it flared out in lots of fun layers! --great for hiding my tummy ;) Just the right amount of sexy yet still professional for my husband's corporate award ceremony.

Loved this dress! The material was somewhat thick, so it was nice for a late October wedding. I'm a 32DDD so the top zipped up a little snug, which really just helped to keep my strapless bra in place all night with plenty of dancing.

I am between a size 8 and 10. The size 8 fit perfect - like it was tailored just for me. All you need is a pretty necklace and you are good to go for any event. Remember, the blue ribbon is not as shocking on the real dress, which is a shame cause that's what made me pick the dress, but still, I got so many compliments.

At first I hated the dress but it grew on me! The color was a lot darker than I expected but I wanted that. I expected there to be tool or something underneath but there wasn't. The skirt kinda lays flat but I ended up loving the dress. Many compliments on how well it was made & elegant.

This was my replacement dress after the first order didn't work out. Customer service was so helpful and the dress was sent overnight and arrived the next day at 9AM. I received so many compliments and the dress was really comfy. I'm in between a 2 & 4, but I wore a size 2 for this dress. I'm 5"3, 125lbs, and 32d. Dress was so comfy and perfect for a wedding!

This dress was great for the black tie optional wedding that I attended. It was a classic fit, not revealing at all and I really liked the way it showed off the smallest part of my frame.

Wore this to a casual marketing event and was probably the best dressed and received a ton of compliments!

The color doesn't appear quite as bright as it does online, it's definitely more navy - which I preferred! This was not my first choice of a dress; initially, the wrong dress was sent to me, but thankfully, RTR was able to help me find this new dress and overnight it to me just in time for the wedding. Everyone I talked with was very helpful in making sure I had something to wear for the occasion.

It was my second dress shipped to me because the first style didn't fit. This dress was the same size and fit so it is true to size. It arrived 1 hour before the Gala and I am so happy it fit perfect! I felt beautiful and it even matched the Gala colors! RTR works perfect for me every time!

Comfortable and fit nicely. I was planning to wear a halter bra but the straps and cups were showing on the side. I switched up to strapless bra. I chose this one based on other reviews that it was easy to move around. If you plan to dance like me, this was perfect. Cons: Dress came in kind of wrinkle so make sure you have access to iron. Color is a little faded but not that noticeable. This is why I gave 4 instead of 5 cause I don't like to iron. :) It was my first RTR experience and I am very happy with it.

This dress was a great flirty dress that worked well for a formal event at my university/job. A lot of reviews said that the chest ran large but as a D-cup woman, it fit perfectly. I found the waist to be a bit snug since it's a material that doesn't give very much, so make sure you get a size that fits the waist most importantly. It also is a bit darker than it looks in the photo, like a few shades lighter than navy but still pretty! I also was hesitant about the length as a shorter person, but I think the length was perfect, it was shorter in the front and longer in the back (it ended a few inches above the knee in the front and about the back of my knee for the back of the dress). Other than the waist being snug it was still a perfect dress to move and dance around in. I'd definitely rent this again!

A great dress that garnered a lot of compliments. At the last minute, the weather turned so I paired this dress with black tights and it still looked formal enough. This dress fit me perfectly everywhere but the lower ribcage. Not the breasts (I am a 23 D these days), not the waist... the lower ribcage. I am glad I got the size up because that's what ended up working for me but it was still tight. I think I size up from that would have been big everywhere else. Since I am short, the length was perfect for me. A similar style with another label would have hot me at an awkward length in front and back. It was a really gorgeous dress and it photographed well. A nice alternative to black for a formal, winter wedding. Note that the material has no give to it. If it had some give to it, the lower rib cage area would not have been an issue.

This dress is adorable! I was skeptical at first, but the detailing and the fit is really beautiful. I wore this dress to a black tie event, where I didn't want to over do it with a full gown, but I wanted something appropriate. A stylist encouraged me to try this dress and it was a great suggestion. Be careful of the sizing, though. Pros: great fit for petite women. I am 5'1" and the length of this dress was perfect, falling just above my knees and with a good torso length. Cons: the chest was way too big for me. I had to find a bra with a lot of padding to fill it in. (I am a C cup and ended up wearing a bra that advertises that it adds 2 cup sizes.) Note that you need a strapless bra or one where you can be creative with the strap placement.

overall fit was great, a little snug in waist but still comfortable. dress is a darker blue in person and not as much contrast between fabric and satin trim. 5'6" and hit just above knee. enjoyed my first RTR experience!

This dress is perfect if you have a smaller waist than hips and thighs like me. It gives you that secure feeling up top (I went braless and am a 34D!) while having great flare just where you need it. The length wasn't too short in the front, which I was nervous about, since being tall. Would definitely recommend for those who have similar dimensions.

This dress fit true to size but was very fitted at the waist. Great for any cup sizes because there is a ton of room in the bust area. I would consider this dress for a fall wedding!

This dress is a nice color and flattering design but it's way too short in front for anyone 5'9" or taller.

I went a size down. I'm normally a 2 and I wore the 0 which was my backup size.

Dress wasn't as vibrant in color as photo depicted, but it was still very pretty and perfect for daytime into evening.

Chest was a little tight, but I have a pretty big bust for being skinny. Just was tight when first zipping up, but otherwise was comfortable! The material is nice and thick and looked like great quality. The only downside to the material was since it was thick, it didn't breathe well for the 95 degree outdoor wedding I attended, but once in normal temperatures I was totally fine. This was actually a back up dress for me and I think it might have been the better choice anyways!

Ran big on top for me. I'm a little bit bigger on bottom than top. Since this dress is not fitted on the bottom, I should have ordered DOWN for my backup. I definitely would have fit better in the size 0. It was passable, but looked baggy on top. As others have said, it is darker than it looks in the picture. I wish the trim was more noticeable. But overall it was a really amazing dress. I loved the style so much!

The dress was a really great fit and very flattering to my athletic build. For me it was just a tiny bit big in the chest area, but I filled it in with inserts.

Gorgeous fit, lovely detail, and the blue is just perfect. It is hard to differentiate the blue from the shiny blue, but it'll honestly be the last thing you'll notice. Received a ton of compliments and contemplating purchasing it after as well! Runs true to size but ordered a 6 (for safety), which went unused!

This was my first RTR and I was very pleased. I rented this dress for a fundraiser art gala. It fits true to size and wasn't too short. It was snug enough in the bust that I could go without a bra and still be supported. As others have stated the satin trim is as noticeable in person, but still a very pretty dress.

It felt elegant enough for the white house but not too stuffy.

Very pretty dress in a rich, vibrant color. The layers and trim aren't quite as extreme as depicted in the photo, which may actually be a good thing. Nice shape and trendy neckline.
