Black tie optional!
Loved this dress!!!! Compliments all night! It was sexy yet classy. "Va va voom!" Was what the mother of the bride shouted at me! Lol. I wear a 12/14 and I went with a 14 which was perfect. I taped my boobs up for cleavage (YouTube research- and I used medical tape- like what you wrap ankles with for sports). and then put double sided tape on the tape which them held the fabric down to hide my cleavage tape from view- keeping my secret (tape on tape!). The dress buttons down on the front so I recommend having a wrap with you as I used that during church to cover my legs (I had to undo last button when seated for a long period of time) and I also used the shawl across my chest when I went up for Communion during Catholic mass ceremony. When seated, because of buttons the dress is not as flattering because the buttons pucker so FYI. Using the double sided tape also helped with the seated puckering while sitting too. Overall, the dress is just total glam and was such a fun play for a lady on the black tie optional dress! I also got earrings and purse from RTR and went with a rounded toe suede black heel. I felt like a movie star! Total RTR win!

Great lines, wonderful material, the particular angles make it pop.
Loose fitting overall and fitted in all the right places. Love the lapels

Felt sexy and confident at the same time--a rarity.
The dress is a true black, which meant that the details were swallowed in photographs (even ones in better light that above) and mirrors. But that worked for me because the buttons (all button closure down the front) pulled just a little bit over my hips (and post-baby belly) . It was pretty long on me (I'm 5'2") but the midi-length is trendy at the moment at least. I've never had a dress this low cut that I was comfortable wearing before (with 40Fs)--this one was so well cut that I didn't even use any boob tape! The dress pulled a little at the waist because I'm super short torsoed.

RTR Team Review.
This black tuxedo dress is the perfect amount flirty and fun! Running a bit large, we recommend going one size down for backup. This dress works for all cup sizes because of the room in the bust area. If you have a largest bust size the dress may be better in a larger size. The midsection is not fitted and it is still comfortable. If you’re curvier, you may want to consider sizing up due sheath form. One thing that I love about this dress is tuxedo feature. You can wear a standard bra. This dress hits about knee length. If you’re taller, this dress would hit a little higher. This dress is stunning and perfect for events and holidays. It would look best with black heels and gold accessories.

I Received Compliments All Night!
Very classic and beautiful dress! I wore this dress for a wedding and received many compliments throughout the evening. My only con with this dress is it runs a bit big, so I recommend choosing a size down for your backup size. Also, the front is very low and open, ultimately showing your chest just as a FYI! Overall, this is a great dress and prefect for formal and evening events!!!

Beautiful/fun dress, but not for ladies with bigger back pockets
I loved the look of this dress up top, but didn't realize that the buttons on the front were the actual closures... no zipper here, and the dress is narrow through the hips, so if you have a bigger butt it will gape open riiiight where you don't want it to. Hard to tell in the picture, but that baby was wide open. Tried fashion tape to no avail. I couldn't wear it and was bummed because it's sexy and interesting. Alternative dress was a big hit anyway.

Unique and flattering style
I was absolutely pleased with the overall look of this dress for our black tie event BUT it took a lot of double sided tape and a well-placed safety pin to make it come together. The size 2 fit beautifully but the skirt GAPS a tremendous amount when you're seated (buttons up). The top's crucial interior button is visible so even with the tape, I had to use a hidden safety pin to close it and make it look right. I think it's best suited for a slim build with a smaller cup size. - and the back exposes a lot too so feel good about your shoulders and upper back if you opt to rent! I'm taking off one star for all the work it entailed but felt great in the dress and received many nice compliments. I paired with a 4" heel as the skirt was long and I am not a tall person.

Beautifully Made dress
I wish I could have worn this dress. The fabric and design is wonderful. Unfortunately my chest is too large and did not classy isn this dress. I urge those with less cleavage to rent this beautiful dress.

I loved this dress! My (male) date went to the event in a dress too and we killed it.
Fit was good. I needed to wear spanx to smooth everything out, and I could have worn the bigger size, but the tightness on this one was more flattering. It's very low cut and I was worried about a wardrobe malfunction, but the top held up well. The bottom buttons came undone a bunch during some energetic dancing, so be aware of that, but otherwise this was a great find.

A bold look
This dress was a bit more daring than I usually go, but made for a real statement for a New Year's Eve date with my husband. I was liberal with the double-sided tape to keep myself relatively covered, but still felt secure and stylish in it. With a red lip and some subtle jewelry, this dress made for an unforgettable look.

A complete stranger stopped me and said my outfit "won the night".
I was a little scared about the plunge but with the help of a safety pin, athletic tape and fashion tape I pulled it off. I normally wear a 4 so I was glad I had the size 2 as a back up. The length was perfect for me. I got tons of compliments all night long.

Cool Dress
This is a very eye-catching, unusual dress. I found it to be slightly tight, and the fabric has no give. Also be forewarned that there are about 1234 buttons involved, and that they go down the length of the skirt. That isn't obvious from the photo. I ended up not wearing it for this specific occasion but may rent it again for something else.

Not for larger busts
This dress would be a knockout on someone with a smaller chest. It has beautiful lines and is so chic, but truly needs a smaller bust size to allow the material to lay flatter. Definitely cannot wear a bra with this one!

Too low cut for me.
It's a beautiful dress, great material I couldn't figure out how to wear a bra that wouldn't completely show in the front. Even if I could, I would feel like I was wearing a jewel box with my boobs on full display

Lower cut than depicted, and not a chance!
No way I could have worn this out - combination of high slit at the front and the low cut top was all sex and nothing left to the imagination.

If you have hips, don't even try it.
All of the reviews said this dress ran large.... I could not even get it to come close to buttoning it was so small with no stretch or give in the material. So sad because it truly is a beautiful dress.

The dress is HOT! lots of cleavage!
It was way big in the boobs and i had to use a safety pin. The review I read said that you could wear a regular bra but this was not the case with me. The length was really long as well. Went below my knees. I normally wear a 6 dress size, i probably should have gotten a 4

Terrible fit. Makes you look like you have a belly even if you don't. Too much coverage. I bought this on sale. Total waste of money

Super low cut/awkward fit
Just weird fit overall. Super low cut but then billowed out around the chest area so would definitely need body tape if you were going to wear this--not possible to wear with a bra (as far as i could tell). But then was really long (past my knees). Maybe my size was too big? Anyway, didn't want to be obsessing about inadvertently showing my chest, so back in the bag it went
