Rented for my husbands birthday brunch and was a hit. I wore it with more of an industrial casual look: oxblood booties and a black chain choker. The fabric is incredible quality and the overlay is just sheer enough to make this flirty but still modest. The under skirt is fitted without stretch which did make sitting hard when it continued to ride up. This dress was perfect and definitely turned heads.

I absolutely loved this dress. The loose fitting style was extremely comfortable, yet still gave me shape. Overall this dress was an awesome silhouette. The sleeves were perfect for a chilly fall wedding. Honestly, I wish I owned this dress, which by the way felt great when on the dance floor. Highly recommend!

This dress fit so well! Normally dresses only a back zipper or the material stretches, but this one had a smaller side zipper and little buttons that attached, which made the dress fit my curves so well!! I got so many compliments all night which led to this picture! I'm completely obsessed and in love!!

Got lots of compliments on this beaut (wore it to a pre-wedding cocktail hour). Super comfortable and easy to wear. I'm 5'10 and usually wear a size 8, but ended up wearing my backup 10 (fit better on arms and chest). Would definitely recommend!

Rented this for a rehearsal dinner and worked so well! A departure from the typical dress, but nothing too crazy! I'd say for petite/pear shaped gals like me the fit isn't ideal, but it still worked. Size up if you have fuller hips.

This style is truly so unique. It does run small so we highly recommend sizing up if you have fuller hips. If you have a smaller bust we recommend sizing down. The fabric has no stretch. This was knee length on my 4'11 frame. This was very tight on the hips and the skirt part was rather short on me because of this. There was comfortable room at the bust. This may be worn with a standard bra. This is perfect for a night out with this girls, date night or a party!

A simple dress that flows and flatters the body. The sleeves were not too tight and the slip underneath added shimmer and sas.

I really loved it! I wore it to my work holiday party and I guess since It's different it was memorable, because I'm still getting compliments on it. As other reviewers have said the lining (that matches the peeking out skirt) shows on the top but with dress tape (which I added after the picture) it was fine. I also didn't mind the slip showing if you're wearing it casual. It's also loose enough even on the under skirt (no stretch) for your regular size- no need to size up - if you're not hippy/ big thighed you might want to size down actually

Shorter skirt in front is not stretchy so if your thighs are heavy it could be a little tight.

This dress is everything! It is comfortable, sexy, sophisticated all around a plus. I got an 8 and I am so happy I did because this outfit is meant to be loose and a bit oversized. The slit is very high so I would not wear it to a corporate gig. Got compliments all night long !

Loved this dress but was definitely in between sizes. The underneath layer was tight around my thighs. If you're curvy on the bottom I would def size up.

Usually a 6 or 8. Slit ran a little small but a 10 would have been huge. Felt super chic Nd got compliments all night.

"Slip" fit snugly but was fine because of overlay. Beautiful color but fabric was very wrinkled and needed to be steamed. Otherwise it was flattering and comfortable

This was a replacement as my original dress was damaged. This fit pretty well (shoulders were a little too tight) but overall looked unique, nice and photographed well. I'm 6'2" and the length of both the underskirt and overskirt were great. There's not much stretch to the underskirt, but the top is kind of matronly if it's baggier, so this was the trade-off. Overall a good last-minute save!

I rented this for my birthday dinner in NYC. I received so many compliments! I loved that it was understated and the slit really made it stand out. It was very comfortable! I was concerned about sitting and the skirt being too short but overlay definitely made me more comfortable. I think the 4 was true to size. There wasn't much difference between the 6 and 4 so I felt the 4 was better since the dress already has a "baggy" look. The other reviews were right; the top of the dress exposes the cami underneath. However, I was totally cool with it! Would definitely rent again!

I needed to find a grey dress to match the rest of the bridal party for my sister-in-law's bridal shower. This dress was pretty comfy and surprisingly super cute. The skirt below the sheath is actually wayyyy shorter than I originally expected, so if you're ordering for the office, I will warn you that you will be needing to pull down every time you sit. Honestly, I don't think this is the best fit for my shape and size. Maybe if I was slimmer, it would've fell a little more elegantly, but that's up to you. It IS very comfortable and the material is super soft.

The dress was perfect for the event. I wore it to an office holiday party that included the governor and congressmen; and while I wanted to look classy, I also wanted it to have that hint of sexy. The dress did that perfectly. The dress runs a little big on top.. and more true to size on the bottom. Actually, if you have a curvier bottom, the short slip underneath might be a little tight. The sleeves were a little long, but I'm 5'1, so not surprising. I just cuffed the sleeves with fabric tape. Fabric tape will be your best friend with this gem.. Overall, great find. Will definitely rent again. *Please excuse my dirty mirror*

Loved this dress. Perfect overall length and long sleeves for chilly weather, but slit on the side kept it sexy enough for a date night. Great silky fabric and color as well. The only thing I didn't like is the model somehow doesn't show the extra fabric in the front chest (you can see it in all the wearers photos though). Perhaps the model used tape (which I didn't have unfortunately), but it's not as it looks in that photo!

Ok so I'm not 5'10 and 110 pounds, but I wear a 2/4 and feel like I can usually achieve a similar look. This dress however, does not look like its pictured on the model. Silly me I should have bought body tape but I assumed the dress would drape like it does in the picture. Also, I would have preferred the smaller size because the top didn't gape as much as the 4, but the 2 had a 3"x2" water stain right on the front of the blouses area. Obviously that would have been embarrassing to wear so I instead felt a little uncomfortable having more of my chest exposed than I would have preferred. With that being said, this dress is beautiful. I felt chic but would have felt more comfortable if I had some tape or if the dress had been sewed in the front.

I liked this one! The gray is darker in person than I thought it would be from the model. Also, the top fit me differently than pictured, more loose and with the inner panel showing. That being said, it was an easy dress to throw on and go, and I got compliments on it all night long.

I received a ton of compliments on this dress. Even the day after I wore it, someone came up to me and told me they were telling their family about the dress the night before. A couple of things I wasn't particularly fond of: the v-neck front piping had extra salvage cut-off that showed right in the "v"; and on the side between the zipper and the snaps there's quite a large space that shows skin. Other than that - perfect. I'd still rent again and hope that a different size 8 didn't have that v-salvage.

I would have worn this dress, but even the 0 was too large. It gapped a lot at the bust and the cuffs covered half my hands. Loved the dress, wish they made smaller sizes.

This dress has a very easy fit to it with the loose flowing fabric, true to size, very comfortable. I received a lot of compliments and felt it was something a little different rather than the usual floor length dresses or the shorter above or at knee length dresses. Plus you can easily wear a bra and whatever type of underwear you prefer.

This dress is unique. Beautiful fabric. Runs large though. I recommend sizing down. I'm returning it for one size smaller. Can't wait to wear it! Sexy and classy.

Great dress. Easy to wear and move around in. The slit is dramatic but not difficult to manage due to the way the layers work together. Likewise the neckline shows just a hint of cleavage. The fabrics are comfortable and the gray a very on point neutral shade. Neither too warm or cool in tone. This is one I would consider buying.

Wore this to Thanksgiving gathering. Got so many compliments. The sleeve length and outer skirt length make it demure, yet the slit and shorter inner skirt give it a modern sexy feel. I'm 5'9" so the inner skirt was fairly short, but I wore tights so as not to appear too scandalous in front of family. Though I would definitely wear w/o tights for a night out. The sleeves are not full length sleeves, more like 3/4-length. Would rent again!

I wore this dress to a Hollwyood movie premiere. It looked very classy and chic. The dress definitely hangs loose on the body, but I appreciated that look. I believed it draped in a way that was fashionable.

Loved this dress - it is very cool and comfy at the same time. I would recommend sizing down - The top portion ran pretty large (and this is coming from someone who is broad-shouldered and busty). I could have easily sized down one size, possibly two.

I rented this dress to wear to a rehearsal dinner at a nice restaurant in Manhattan in early May. I liked that it had longer sleeves because the temperature was due to be a bit chilly. Ultimately, I chose this dress because I really felt like it screamed "NYC." Upon reading the reviews I felt conflicted, because some said to size up because of the skirt, and many said to size down because the top is loose. In the end, I ordered a 4R (more or less my size) and a 2R (honestly that was probably wishful thinking). The skirt *was* short and tight...I feel like it would have really prevented me from dancing comfortably had that been on the agenda. It was OK to sit down and stand up at dinner, but I did feel a bit self-conscious. In hindsight I should have sized up, as my thighs and butt are on the more athletic size, compared to my upper half. I can't say if the top would have been *too* loose had I ordered the 6. That being said, rent this when you want to wear something different and chic - but probably size up if you have an average female figure and not super petite! Oh, also, it arrived somewhat wrinkled so I did my best to steam them out. It's a delicate material in that way.
