This dress is awesome! I wore it for Mother's Day, and it was perfect. The zipper can be tricky because the fabric is thick. It was so comfortable and very flattering to my straight-down body type. It creates a lovely waist-line and hides any problem areas! Fits true-to-size.

The fit was great. I love that RTR sends a complimetary size 'just in case' it's very comforting to know you'll fit in your outfit! I recieved my dress as said and I couldn't of asked for a better experience. :)

This dress is super comfortable. It runs a tad small, but only because the fabric doesn't stretch a lot. I rented a 0 and had a backup size 2 and ended up wearing the size 2 because the sleeves on the 0 were pretty tight. Also, this is the dress that SJP wears in the opening scene of the SATC movie, so that's awesome.

This dress was the perfect choice for my rehearsal dinner! I received soo many compliments and it wasn't just because I was the bride! Fit perfectly and looked great all night long.

I wore this dress for a winter white party and stole the show! It was perfect for the occasion. I am fairly short and was nervous the dress would drape past my knees, but it hit perfectly above the knees, much like a cocktail dress should. The band is a little tight and not as elastic-y as I expected, but not TOO tight where it's uncomfortable. Loved every minute of this dress! Great pick!

I ended up renting this in the 8, since it was all that was available my birthday weekend. Halston usually runs big on me, so this was pushing it (I am a 6, but generally wear a 4 in Halston), but I was hoping I could make it work. With the magic of the most padded bra I owned, the dress hung on me almost exactly as it should and it still looked great. I got lots of compliments (and lots of people recognizing where the dress was from, at the time I rented, the new SATC movie had just come out). It was perfect for the patio party I was attending. Super happy with this rental!

Such a hot dress! I wore with gold shoes and accessories (same as SJP) and it looked perfect. Wore to a party where I saw lots of old friends, and I got tons of compliments on it- yay! A bit tight in arm holes (and I have pretty slim arms), so unless you want to wear it long-sleeved, be willing to work with it a little and for it to be tight under elbow. Worth the struggle. :)

I wore this for my boyfriend's law school prom and it was perfect. It was very comfortable and i didn't have to worry about it being too low or too short. Appropriate for cocktial or formail attire. Vey happy with it!

I wore this dress for a graduation in late May, so the color was perfect but the material does not breathe at all! I was really uncomfortable outside since it was so hot and humid but it was great for the cold auditorium. I rented the 0 and the 2 and ended up wearing the 0. The dress has a lot of extra room on top, but the sleeves run unusually tight around the forearm. The material was shinier than I expected when I took it out of the box, but it looked great on and I got a ton of compliments! I'd wear it again for an event with cooler weather or if I knew I was going to be indoors.

It was tight in the arms for me...i really thought i would be able to roll them up but I couldn't. That was my only disappoint with the dress, other than that it was a great fit. Watch the arms!

This dress is extremely comfortable- the material looks a little worn in some areas- but is not noticeable unless looking closely at the fabric. And Just revealing enough! Sat in this dress for hours and felt like I was wearing comfy clothes!

As indicated by previous reviews, this dress has super janky material. It's vaguely reminiscent of my angel costume in a children's Christmas pageant. It has a bit of a shimmer, and feels cheap. However, the neckline is very flattering, (even to a flat-chest), and is incredibly comfortable. the loose fit on the hips was a nice touch and was easy to dance in.

it looked and I felt amazing in it. I would had prefered a little more fit in the chest but I still managed to pull it off.

I wore this for my birthday party with some gold heels. Loved the fit and got tons of compliments. I'm usually between a 6 and 8 and went with the 6. I think it runs just a little large due to the blousy style. Great dress!

This dress was a great chpice for a black and white formal affair! I recieved so mnay compliments. The material was a lktle more shiny than I expected, but you could only tell in some pictures. I am usually a 4 and sometimes a 2, but made the mistake of not ordering the extra size. Order the size down from your usual! Overall I would reccommend this to most body types and is very comfortable to spend a long evening in.

Perfect date night dress for a long Labor Day weekend up in Vail. The long sleeves were perfect for the cooler nights, but the short skirt kept the look fun and summer flirty. The fabric was super comfortable and I was comfortable all night long. The size does run small. I'm usually a 4-6, but I ended up wearing the 2-with the dolman-style sleeves and looser fit up top the smaller size synched at the waste more and makes sure you don't get lost in the dress.

Fits true to size, was short enough even on my 5'4" frame. Nude underwear recommended....

i rented this dress for one of my bridal showers. i paired it with heels and a big statement necklace and it was perfect. the sleeves are really tight on this dress which was kind of unexpected. i pushed them up as much as i could, but they likely won't go much past your upper forearm. the bust area was a little loose; be sure to have some double-stick tape handy!

I got this for a friend for her birthday and she LOVED it!!! It really is the perfect summer dress.

The fabric is awesome and will totally give you that bright summer look. However, the top is very baggy. I am a b cup and there was so much material that I could not wear it without it looking bad. if you have what it takes to fill it out, it will look awesome.

I was very disappointed with this dress, particularly the fabric as reviewers have noted earlier. When I saw the dress on Carrie in the SATC movie, it look effortless and chic. In person, it is anything but. The dress was proportioned weirdly: the bust is far too big, the waist hits low, and the length hit my knees. The fabric is super shiny and looks synthetic/cheap. I planned on wearing it to my girlfriend's birthday party but wound up opting for something from my own closet.

It inspired me to go and find the dress to purchase it! It fit me beautifully and was perfect for my night out!

Wore this for my wedding's after-party. The dress is sexy and comfortable at the same time, and feels great on. The only issue is the neckline is a little low and wide, which made wearing a normal bra an issue. I think it would be fine with a strapless bra.

I wore this for my post-wedding shenanigans and it was cute. It definitely runs big. I wore my back up size (2) and still found it baggy in the chest - a problem I haven't had since the days of playing dress up in my Mom's closet! The fabric on the dress is starting to show signs of wear, but it worked well for the occasion and I received plenty of compliments.

This dress is fab! It was a little loose in the bust and I have ample breasts, but otherwise it was very comfortable and looked great on. I wore gold accessories and animal print shoes with gold detail. The sleeves I scrunched up as I thought it looked better than wearing them long. I received a lot of compliments at my birthday party!

I loved this dress in the SatS movie. I was excited to wear it for my bridal shower. Unfortunately it was too big on top for my preference and the material is shinier than I thought it would be.

Beautiful fabric, but it was a little too big, so I did not wear it.

I followed others advice and made sure to get the size down. The only reason I'm giving it 3* is that the dress I received was clearly well-worn. There were fabric runs in the waist band and the zipper pull was rusted, both which were very visible.
