I rented this dress to wear to a college friend's wedding in March in Charleston (formal attire). I am 5'2 and 100lbs and normally wear a 0 or 00 in dresses. The dress was a perfect length for the ocassion and very comfortable. The only downside was that it was slightly loose at the top, even when zipped and clasped. I wore a strapless bra with padding to compensate, but did spend some of the night pulling the dress up (which became quite annoying on the dance floor). My friend helped me tie the hanger strings inside to make it tighter and voila! It worked great. Given i am so petite, it can be difficult to find a dress that fits snug enough regardless, so i wasn't too concerned. Got so many compliments and had a great time!

Beautiful color and drape on this dress - I absolutely loved it. I did find the fit a bit tight in the hips and a bit loose under the arms, and I had to tug it when dancing (the curse of strapless dresses!). Not sure if a smaller size would've helped. Definitely recommend a smoothing undergarment.

Flattering and loved the color for an outdoor summer wedding! Enough structure in the top so I didn't need to wear a bra.

This dress is exactly as it appears - a solid yellow strapless dress. Unfortunately, I ordered the size 10 when I should have gotten a size 8, so it was too big up top. I would not recommend for smaller chested women, as there was a LOT of extra room up top.

Loved this dress- got lots of compliments too! I don't typically wear bright colors and was pleasantly surprised with how fun it was! It is pretty tight- definitely revealing of the mid area but felt comfortable on the top. Would rent again but maybe a size up unless I exercise a lot before

I loved this dress so much I bought it. The top was a little loose but I just wore a bigger bra. The color is a perfect marigold. So comfortable to wear. It wrinkles but not enough to be super noticeable.

The only complaint that I have is that my original size that I picked (the smaller size) wasn't able to be delivered, and, of course, the dress ran a bit large, so I really had to fanagle the larger size to work! I'm normally between a size 2 and 4, and the 2 would've been perfect! Otherwise, this dress is beautiful, sturdy, and comfortable. The fabric isn't too thick, but it does wrinkle easily.

This dress was amazing and I honestly wanted to keep it! I was afraid the yellow might be too summery, but it's actually a deeper yellow that worked perfectly for fall. The size was perfect, length was perfect, color was perfect. 10/10 would recommend!

I wore this dress for my rehearsal dinner and it was stunning. I wore a size zero and it was true to size but I would size up if you are between sizes. The fit was great and it stayed up well even though it is strapless. Very cute dress!

Gorgeous dress! It may look too simple, but with the right accessories this dress really stands out. Fully recommend pairing with the Jenny Peckham multi crystal collar from RTR. At the moment I'm somewhere between a size 0 and 2. Glad I got both sizes otherwise the boning in the size 0 dress would have really dug into my sides. When I tried on the dress I noticed boning had popped out of the end of its channel - could have been a safety hazard had I not covered it with a bandaid. Still, it was an easy fix, and the dress was comfortable (even after all the eating, drinking, and dancing).

Fit true to size. The top part has boning so it was supportive enough to go braless. Looked great with a tan, but not sure it would've looked as nice if I was a bit pale. Very comfortable and flattering- my husband couldn't take his eyes off me! Great dress as a wedding guest.

I was nervous when I first went to rent this dress seeing that it was only available in a Size 2 when I typically wear a Size 4. However, after reading the reviews and seeing that many said it ran large in the chest, I decided to go for it. Luckily the dress fit like a glove! The dress has enough structure in the bodice where I was able to wear the dress without a bra. It was easy, comfortable and made me feel like a hundred billion dollars. 10/10, would rent again!

True to size. Fabric is not as thick/forgiving as some others on RtR so I was happy I had sized up. Like others said, the bust was slightly bit. I have a fairly large chest cavity and wear a C cup (36C) and I had to pull it up a little here and there. Overall, I am happy that I sized up.

This dress was a pleasant surprise. I normally wear black but really loved the design of this dress so I gave it a try. I got so many compliments on this piece and I'm glad I decided to branch out. I usually wear a 4 but definitely needed to go down with this piece as my chest is on the smaller size :)

Loved it, great for length for a modest religious wedding. Wore this with the BB Dakota Grey Faux Suede Jacket. I would say this runs true to size, even though the four was too big for me (was able to clip it in the back and wear it anyway!) I'm small chested and should have rented a size 2 or 0. Good thick material.

This is a wonderful dress! I was a little hesitant at first to rent it because I was worried about the fit. It turned out to be perfect (size 2). Usually with this type of strapless dress I always feel the top is going to slip off. However with this one it never felt like that at all! The top was a perfect tightness. It was similar to a corset but not too tight. It is also very good for covering up fat and belly, especially after a large meal. The dress flowed very well and felt really light. Really great for dancing. Some other reviews said it wrinkle, but mine was fine after a whole night (the picture was taken at the end of the night). I also paired it with a necklace from RTR.

The dress was comfortable and mostly stayed up all night. It was a bit tighter than I expected on my curves but that happens. The 14 was way too large though. I have never received as many compliments as I did on this dress!

Dress is a beautiful, light mustardy-yellow color. It is not tight around the waist, but the way the fabric falls it does tend to hit any trouble areas. Personally, I wore spanx just to make myself more comfortable with this. Top is a bit loose, but I wore a strapless bra underneath that helped a lot. Received a lot of compliments on it, and thought it was a great dress!

I wore this for my rehearsal dinner, received a lot of compliments. The length is very classy. I just wish designers would work some stretch into their fabrics. I’m glad I had a free backup larger size! Would rent again, beautiful dress.

The color of this dress is AWESOME! I got so many compliments all night. It was perfect for a fall wedding. I would wear different shapewear next time because it did show every flaw. I absolutely loved this dress, my only con would be it creases easily if you have to be seated for a while!

The color is so flattering and even more gorgeous in person. I was worried about the 4 not fitting--I'm typically a 4 or 6, heavier on the bottom--but with Spanx it worked perfectly, and actually was loose in the bust. Plan on fashion tape if you have narrow shoulders/small chest relative to your hips. The length and shape are so clean and elegant, cannot recommend this dress enough!

I loved this rental for a summer wedding I attended. The color is gorgeous and the fabric is light and flowy. You definitely need spanx or some good no-show undies though since the skirt is clingy and not forgiving. The top stayed up great since there is some boning. Highly recommend!

I am 5'9" and about 175 pounds. I typically wear a size 10-12 pantsand 36C bra -- size 12 in designer dresses. This dress was true to size. The fabric is thick and flattering with a shaper underneath. Definitely plan on wearing one to smooth out bumps! I had to steam it when I got it, but it looked really great and I'm considering buying it.

I did have to go a size up with this dress as the 8 was snug in the bosom. I received many compliments and loved having multiple options for accessories. I would definitely rent this style again.

I couldn't have been happier with this dress! The color is unique, more of a bright marigold, but not in the hard-to-pull-off-way. I wore the 6 and unlike other reviews, felt it true to size. I wore without a bra, and was a little concerned that it would start to sag after a night of dancing and sweating, but it didn't! I usually avoid strapless dresses on account of my "twinkies," (that bit of fat between your breast and your armpit) but not a twinkie in sight!! Definitely rent this dress, especially if you have dark hair!

This was a beautiful dress! Similar to other reviewers, I found that the bust was pretty loose but the hips and waist were a little more snug. I ended up wearing a size bigger than my normal size because I didn't want the hips to be too tight. I would recommend wearing spanx to smooth things out. Overall, the dress was beautiful and I got a ton of compliments!

I am the perfect size 4, but I went with the 6 because it fit much nicer in my hips. I wore it without a bra because it is so well made and the dress is structured. I couldn't have picked a more perfect summer wedding guest dress. I just wished I had taken more pictures! Can't wait to see the wedding photos!

This dress is one of those rentals you really wish was in your closet. I rented it for a wedding back in May, it was that heatwave weekend in LA. So it was light weight and a breathable material (thank goodness!) Everyone complimented me on the color all night. The style was flattering for my body. And it made it easy to dance in. I will say other reviewers were correct, spanx were needed because it was very thin and even after ironing wrinkles out you could still see things. Also, because I had recently put on weight :/ I ended up wearing the 12. It fit right but was hard to zip up by myself (ask for help!) only when I used the bathroom at the wedding reception did the dress not look right (but I think that's due to the fact that at home we put on the spanx, then strapless bra, THEN the dress. And using a bathroom you have to peel the spanx down to pee. So it gets difficult to make it all work) I loved this dress. It runs true to size. It's a lovely color but more flattering on tan/ olive skin complexion. Easy to move in. For being strapless, I didn't have to worry about it falling down all the time.
