I'm a size 2 or 4 but I got a 0 and it made me look thinner!!!!!

This dress was PERFECT for my engagement photos. It popped in all the photos. Fit me perfect and the corset in it makes you look very slimming. The dress has definitely had its use and up close you could tell it's been washed many times but in the photos it looked perfect!

I loved this! It was tight enough on top to keep up through hours of dancing without having to tug and pull. Pretty colour, true fit, and very flattering

I've worn Halston Heritage before, so I knew that the size 4 would fit perfectly. I'm typically a 0 or 2 in other brands, but 4 works well in Halston! I got SO many compliments on this dress. It's a thicker fabric, so it was a little hot in 99 degree weather, but definitely worth the rental!

This dress is so flattering! I wore it to a charity event and received so many compliments. The material is thick and rich. I was surprised that the dress skirt is bunched but it looks great on. I didn't wear a bra and felt completely comfortable and the dress did not fall down! I would definitely rent again!!

The dress is definitely tight in the ribcage area, so go bigger for your backup size (I'm a 34B and got a size 4 -- 6 was slightly too big in chest area). I LOVE the flare on the skirt, it's so fun to twirl (and did a fun Marilyn-Monroe thing when I stepped over an AC vent, ha!). I wore a Nubra but probably could have gotten away with no bra (a regular strapless bra would show in the square dip in the front). The top is very snug though, so it was better than many strapless dresses I've worn in that I wasn't pulling it up all the time.

Three people told me I was best dressed. I felt so comfortable all day. The corset is perfect for cinching in your waist without being restricting. It is a thick cotton so it did not wrinkle. I wore it for a horse race on a cool spring day. I would have kept it except it is a very memorable dress.

This dress is absolutely perfect. From the color to the design and qualify, I have no complaints. Judging by the other reviews, I ordered a size up. However, I should've gone with my normal size 0, as I had trouble keeping the dress up. I have a very narrow upper body and small chest though, so consider that when ordering. I received more compliments than I have ever received on an RTR dress. I'd definitely recommend this one and hope to rent it again sometime!!

Loved wearing this dress. The boning in the bodice means you don't need to wear a bra and ensures the dress stays put no matter how hard you dance. The skirt is fun and flirty but has structure and does not wrinkle. The fit was true to size. I would certainly consider renting again, however, this dress makes such a statement and is unforgettable that a repeat could be difficult. Enjoy!

I didn't think I'd like the skirt on the dress and strapless always makes me spend the night pulling up on the top. The skirt ended up not having as much pouf as I thought and the inner bodice of the dress kept everyone in place! The dress is substantial in material but not heavy. The color isn't overpowering (I wouldn't normally be the one in the red dress), but took a chance and wanted to try something different, part of the fun of RTR. Definitely a good choice!

This dress has a double corset so it definitely fits your body and tucks everything in to its place. The top runs a little small in my opinion, I am usually a size 6 but it fit very tight, I would suggest getting a size up especially if you have larger breasts or a larger rib cage. I could have worn an 8 but they didn't have that available in my size so I took the risk and wore the 6. It fit but "just" so. The skirt was fantastic, the boning in it kept it full all night, great to dance in. I also loved the color, it was a dark orange, almost red, and very striking. This dress is a showstopper, I got compliments all night!

At the last minute, I started to worry that high-end clothing tends to run a little smaller than your usual wear-to-work brand, so I ordered an 8 in addition to my normal 6. This was great, as I could not get the 6 to clasp around my chest. The dress itself is exquisite. There is an inner bodice piece so a bra is totally not necessary, even with HOURS of dancing and jumping. The skirt is fantastic for dancing and standing - less so for sitting since it is stiff and very structured. The dress was super comfy and easy to wear (perhaps a tad long in the torso for me as I'm short waisted). It hit just above my knee but the pleats gave the feel of a shorter dress. It was a total stunner at my company holiday party.

This Halston Heritage style is a must-have with an orange-red color that will brighten up any room. The skirt has boning in the pleats which emphasizes its fit and flare silhouette. While there is some stretch in the fabric, this style is fitted at the natural waist, so size up for your backup. I would recommend this style for all body types except those with very petite frames. The full skirt will create fabulous curves on most body types; however, it may overwhelm smaller frames or shorter heights. The inner corset in the dress makes it easy to wear for all bust sizes. I think this style works best for those who have a D cup size and below. Those with smaller busts may feel more comfortable also wearing a strapless bra for a perfect fit as there is a lot of room in the bust area. I definitely would pair this dress with some statement earrings and hand candy, like a great ring and a delicate bracelet!

I love the color of this dress and was very surprised by how much I liked the fit. I recommend opting for no bra because there is an inner corset that provides great support, even for those with larger busts. It was a little snug at first but does fit true to size. My one call out is that the skirt is very full and may overwhelm a petite frame, but is perfect for an hourglass or pear shape. I would love to pair this with statement earrings that showcase my favorite part - the unique neckline!!

Wore this to a holiday party and it was perfect! The pics make the dress look orange, which I would say it is, but at the party which was dimly lit, everyone thought it was red. Either way, very fun and festive and so many people came up to compliment me! The dress definitely stands out! Also love it with the necklace I rented (see pic). It does run small - normally in this brand I'm a size 2 or sometimes 0. I did wear the 2 but it was snug - the rib cage part is where you'd have problems on it being too small. But I actually think the 4 would have been too big.

Loved the waistline this dress gave me! Unfortunately the dress I received was a bit worn out and was missing the hook and eye, but was still passable. I was able to wear it with a normal strapless bra.

This dress was very tight in the bust. I Normally wear a 4/6 and I could barely zip up the top of the 6. Very high quality dress with good boning.

Loved this fun dress! It was great for dancing. Warning-runs very small. Order 1 or 2 sizes down. I usually wear a 4 or 6. The 6 was very tight, I would've worn an 8 if I had it. The dress has been worn many times and it is beginning to show. The boning is messed up in the skirt and top is worn. But, it is still a great dress and I would rent it again (but in an 8). The color is more red than I expected. Overall, it was an awesome dress.

I almost always wear a 2 or a 4, and it took three people to zip me into the 6. Definitely could not have worn a bra with this. It was incredibly tight through the ribcage, and I am only a 34C! Loved the style, it stays put, good length. I'm not sure if the 8 would have been too loose, but definitely err on the side of ordering up with this one.

The first version of this dress was too small so I ran to RTR in NYC and picked up a different size. Though I'm a 36 DD, I wore this dress without a bra. Kinda made the boning weird but I wasn't too worried. I wore spanx.

This dress was a bit big on me, but it's the only size they had. The necklace the stylist paired with it made the dress. The bottom was a little full for my taste and kept forming weird shapes. I received many compliments and felt very beautiful.

Buttery-soft fabric. Not stretchy. Stunning color! Unique neckline. Unique tulip shape of the dress; pleating does not lay perfectly though. Stretchy corset/bra inside the bust of the dress - no need to wear an actual bra! Did not wear the size 4 or 6 because the exterior zipper would not zip because too tight (inside corset/bra zipped fine in both sizes; picture shows a slight pucker on the side where I couldn't zip the size 6.) Going up a size might have zipped, but the tulip-like bottom of the dress would have been overwhelming. Bummed that because I rented two dresses (rehearsal and wedding) could not get partial credit for this dress not working out; still a huge RTR fan!

I normally wear a size 4, but luckily requested a size 6 too and that fit perfectly! The durable fabric and length of the dress was lovely!!!!

Great support for smaller chests

So this was a back-up dress after my first 2 options were total no-go's. I sort of thought there must be something wrong with it as it was a red cocktail dress available at Christmas. Ladies, there is NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS DRESS! It was so fun & I got lots of compliments all night. In the picture it reads sort of watermelon-colored -- NO! It is RED! Fun, happy red. The waist is fitted & the skirt has enough flair to be both forgiving & flirty. I do see where the top may be a challenge for bigger-busted girls. But in my case my husband said he liked it so much on me I should buy it -- THE TRUE TEST OF SUCCESS.

The boning around the chest created beautiful lines and a classy feel. The skirt was also unique. I was able to wear it for a high end dinner and then added a Mario brothers hat to it for a Halloween party. I loved how I felt in the dress all night long. The length was nice as I am petite sometimes this is not the case. The mid section was fitted but still comfortable. Great rental!

This dress was made for me! I'm a pear shape with a small waist, and this dress accentuated all of my favorite features. I thought the dress fit true to size, I'm very small on my top half compared to my bottom half, and this was a lovely cut. My only slight fit issue was the bust. I'm 34" in the bust and 26" in the waist, and the 4 was slightly too big in the bust area. Other than some slight looseness it was great. Plus the red color was beautiful. I wish I would have taken a good photo at the time, though I guess I'll just have to rent it again so I can take a photo to upload!

Gorgeous color, photos do not do it justice. Flattering on the waist and beautiful neckline. I would wear this dress to every event if I could. Rent this dress for your next event, you won't regret it.

Runs small, I am 5'1 and 100 ponds and I normally wear a zero, this dress was a great length but it was tight

This dress was incredibly beautiful with all the underpinnings to support your body parts without having to wear anything extra. The only problem was that it didn't fit! I usually wear a size 4 so I had both a 4 & 6 delivered. In the size 6, I was unable to zip up beyond my chest (I'm a 34D). I read the reviews where many people said the dress ran small, but I didn't realize it ran THAT small! So, order 2 sizes up - don't be embarrassed by it because once you put it on, all you'll notice is how gorgeous you look!

I got the dress in size 2 and size 4. 2 was too small, 4 was too large. This dress is heavy and thus needs to fit snugly to avoid falling down, so perfect sizing is important. I ended up only wearing it for NYE dinner, then I changed into another dress for dancing.

The color, fabric, and design of this dress is absolutely gorgeous. I am a standard 10 with an hourglass shape and 34 DDD bust. The dress wouldn't zipper in the bust area. The waist and hips were no problem, but the bust was too small with no stretch. I rented another Halston Heritage and the 8 fit fine. I would definitely recommend going up a size for your backup if you have a fuller bust.

I rented this to wear to a wedding. I usually wear a 2 or 4 and originally ordered the dress in a 4 but it wasn't available (nor was 6). I tried the size 2 but it was very very small! I didn't end up wearing this dress for the wedding. It was a heroic effort just to get it on, and I would've flashed everyone while dancing. The skirt of the dress wasn't as full as pictured. This is probably due to normal wear and tear. The color was somewhat faded and dull compared to the picture as well.

The dress could have been a good fit if the back zipper was adjustable. I felt this ran almost 1-2 sizes too much than expected. Great shape but again the material isn't the best (almost faded and not looking new). I would never rent this again.
